 + -1 moreWow--the guys at Gohn's were amazing. My piano is HEAVY--they said it was the heaviest they'd ever moved, and I believe them. When I made the appointment, I informed the scheduler, but she only sent three guys (which is the normal complement for a piano crew). They were also only expecting a few steps, and got a whole flight. The entire time, they were concerned about the piano's safety and their own. They successfully moved my heirloom grand piano (with a cast iron panel) with no damage.
Description of Work: A HEAVY grand piano unloaded from a moving, carried up a flight of stairs, and installed.

 + -1 moreGrohn's was fantastic. On time, professional, and the cheapest of several estimates. They put us on their schedule with one day's notice and worked with us to accommodate both our schedule and the schedule of the family that gave us the piano. Highly, highly recommended.

 + -1 moreGOHN'S PIANO MOVERS WORKED AROUND OUR SCHEDULE. THE ACTUAL MOVERS WERE KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT THE MECHANICS OF THE PIANO, AND USED NEW SCREWS DURING SET UP WHERE THE OLD SCREWS WERE STRIPPED AT NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE. THEY ARRIVED WITHIN THE SMALL WINDOW OF TIME THAT THEY SAID THEY WOULD ARRIVE, AND WERE EXTREMELY PROMPT WITH THE TAKE DOWN AND SET UP OF THE PIANO. EXCELLENT JOB!
Description of Work: GOHN'S PIANO MOVING MOVED MY PIANO FROM HIGHLANDTOWN, MD TO BEL AIR, MD. THE BASE PRICE TO MOVE MY BABY GRAND PIANO WAS $185, PLUS $2 FOR EACH MILE OVER 15 MILES, AND $2 PER STEP. THE MOVERS MADE THE JOB LOOK SO EASY! MY HUSBAND AND FRIENDS MOVED THE PIANO IN THE PAST AND IT WAS ANYTHING BUT AN EASY JOB FOR US! IT WAS AN ALL DAY EVENT FOR US! WE DECIDED THAT HAVING OUR PIANO PROFESSIONALLY MOVED WAS THE BEST $200 WE EVER SPENT!
