KRAMER OVERHEAD DOOR SERVICE

It was not a pleasant experience. The young technician paid more attention to the phone call from his girlfriend then concerned about the repair of the door. He initially told me that something was in the way of the electronic eye of the door. Being a homeowner for a number of years, I found that "diagnosis" to be insulting and absolute rubbish. He immediately began writing a bill for approximately 5 minutes worth of work. I then had to ask him to spray the track (he was on the phone the whole time saying, "I love you too" which I found to be completely unprofessional) which I thought was just routine service. The bill was approximately $170.00 for the service call and I guess the two brackets that protrude from the door and appear not to be intended for the purpose. I was completely dissatisfied when the door continued to do the same thing the very next day. When contacting them again, they said they would charge ANOTHER service call. Owner never returned my calls.

The company scheduled the work for the next day. They showed up on-time, fixed the door quickly, and the price was fair.

THE GENTLEMAN THAT CAME OUT WAS VERY HELPFUL, AND DID NOT MIND MY QUESTIONS, ETC. HOWEVER, WHEN I HAD A PROBLEM A FEW DAYS LATER, AND CALLED THE COMPANY, I HAD TROUBLE GETTING SOMEONE TO COME BACK OUT, AND LOOK AT MY DOOR TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING WAS OKAY. THOUGHT THEY WERE A LITTLE PRICEY TOO.
