 + -1 moreExcellent experience from start to finish. Left my yard looking neat and tidy. Great value. I had them come back and trim all of the trees around my house limbing them up on the sides facing my house. This was a lot of trees. 7? Or more for $750. Another fantastic experience! So glad I did this because within two weeks there was a massive wind storm and my house was spared whereas most of my neighbors has damage.
Description of Work: Removed a large tree, ground down the stump, removed several adjacent smaller trees and cut large branches.

 + 0 moreSee above. I chose H.E. Brady based in the feedback I had found on Angielist We could not be more pleased.
Description of Work: Took down a 70'+ tulip poplar tree close to my house. The tree was in a very awkward location being next to a large glass enclosed porch and located directly over the BG&E wires and over some smaller ornamental trees. Mr. Brady arrived on time, gave me an estimate, and held to that estimate. He arrive with his crew, also on time to prepare for the removal. I was impressed that they put down protective pads to protect the walkway near the tree. There was no possibility to bring in a crane so all of the work had to be done by lowering it piece by piece. I watched as the principal climber studied each move before proceeding, taking special care not to damage the porch. After the job was done, they raked up the area and cleaned up all of the debris leaving the area just as received. Further, they removed a large branch from a maple in the front yard and cut the largest piece into 18" sections and stacked them for firewood. Mr. Brady's estimate was substantially below the other estimate I had received. Another tree service provider would not give me an estimate because he felt the job was too risky.

Description of Work: Mike was early for the initial appointment for an estimate. He was very cordial and professional, talking through the work that he would do and giving good ideas of how to deal with trees on my property. His price came in just a little lower than a competitor's, and he was able to complete the work on time and make it look great. Very happy all around!

 + -1 moreMichael Brady was great to work with from start to finish. He quickly came out and provided an estimate for the immediate work that I wanted to get done. He also provided estimates (and recommendations on timing) for additional work that my wife and I are interested in having completed over the next year. On the day of the job, his crew showed up about 10 minutes ahead of schedule. They were courteous, worked quickly, and cleaned up well after the job was complete. I highly recommend H.E. Brady Tree Service and will certainly use them again!
Description of Work: Removed two 20'+ overgrown crape myrtle trees alongside my house (including grinding stumps). Removed one large overgrown bush (10'+ tall) and trimmed one tree alongside my garage.

 + -1 moreCrew arrived on the date and the time promised. The foreman (Mike) explained everything they were doing. Everyone wore safety equipment and took great care to avoid damaging the house (at least two large limbs were over the house), the lawn sprinkler system (lowered large branches to avoid impact damage) and cars (we moved them). Trees were trimmed with excellent balance and low hanging, damaged branches were taken out. The canopies were raised resulting in more balance with plenty of light. Clean up was very thorough and no trucks were driven onto the lawn. I think this job was more involved than anticipated but Mike and his crew took extra time to complete it very nicely without asking for more than he quoted. I highly recommend H. E. Brady Tree Service!

 + -1 moreDuring heavy rains when this tree fell - Mr Brady came out almost immediately. We discussed the price and when he would return to do the work. He was timely and the work was done efficiently and cleaned up perfectly. I am about to hire him again for some additional work.
Description of Work: Mr Brady cut up and removed a tree that had fallen in heavy rains (large tree). Also we had another very large branch hanging down that needed to be cut and removed and the tree trimmed. We also had him remove a few smaller trees.

 + -1 moreContacted H.E. Brady Tree service on 9/24/12 for an estimate to remove 5 pine trees. Received a quote on 9/26/12 which came in at half less than competitors who submitted quotes .We set a date of 10/12/12 but due with to an emergency Mr Brady rescheduled for 10/13/12.. HE Brady Tree service arrived at 8 am in the morning. I also asked to get a quote that day on an oak tree leaning over my house- the quote came in $500 less than another competitor.. They also took care of that tree. They did a thorough job- you could not tell there were trees there before.. They cleaned up all debris. Very professional and I would definitely use this company again.

 + -1 moreOutstanding. They were doing some work at my neighbors, and he told me they were easy to work with. I talked to the foreman, and he gave me an estimate to remove a few branches. I came home from work one day, and the only way I knew they had been there was the limbs were gone. There wasn't even any sawdust around the tree!
