Description of Work: Install basement drain system, add sump pump. I was really concerned about the extent of the work that needed to be done to address basement moisture. While the work was extensive, their price was excellent. I am pleased to say that there were no surprises, no delays in an aggressive timeline to get the work done, and no compromises along the way, and no bait and switch. My husband was there day to day and was really quite pleased. I tend to be a bit more exacting about the details but when I saw the work done, I was delighted. Very professional! |

Description of Work: We contacted Bennett to help find a leak in our basement. We contacted him and he came out the very next day on a Saturday! He was able to isolate the problem of the pipe leading to our well pump was leaking behind the insulation. He dug up the ground outside the basement window , found the leak, and in doing so, found other problems with the way the original work was done to seal the pipe. He not only sealed the pipe but applied a coating to the surrounding concrete to make it double safe. We were very impressed with their knowledge, their professionalism and they cleaned up as if the work had never been done. No problems since!

Description of Work: We used Bennett Waterproofing at our last house a few years ago for basement waterproofing and he came out five months ago and said that we didn't really need to do anything.

+ -1 moreGreat. I called in the morning and was called back around lunchtime. Jamie said he could come out and look at the problem that afternoon. He showed up right on time. Looked at my problem and said he didn't do the kind of work I needed. He then gave me pretty detailed instructions on how to fix my problem by digging a shallow drainage ditch away from the house, line it with landscape cloth and stones. Also he suggested that I caulk under the doorway where the sepage appeared to be entering the house. He also told me that it should take me about 8 hours to fix it. It took about 6 hours and worked great. Total cost was about $35 from Lowes for the rocks and caulk. I had the landscape cloth already. He also gave me advice on what scam artists might tell me I needed. It rained pretty hard last weekend and last night with everything working perfectly and no more water entering my house.

Description of Work: He inspected my crawlspace because I was told it was very wet. He provided a full report, went down a 2nd time after/during a heavy rain and found it was still dry.

+ 0 moreThis company is great! Jamie added some hydraulic cement because the cinder blocks were damaged. Jamie started and completed work at exactly the time estimated. He cleaned up all the debris and left the basement in good condition. I had gotten several estimates from the larger nationwide companies but Jamie outbid them all and provided the same lifetime warranty which is transferable.
Description of Work: Bennett Waterproofing dug a French drain, installed a sump pump and drainage pipe. Installed drainage in a window well.
