Things started off well. I contacted Arundel Gas and Water to have someone come out and perform a site survey, so that I could have propane tanks delivered, set, and connected by lines to a home generator. The price of the estimate turned out to be fair. From there it all went south. When I signed a contract with an electrician to install the generator, I was ready for Arundel Gas and Water to come out and install the propane tanks and run tubing to the generator. My POC at Arundel Gas and Water did not respond to several emails and phone calls over a 10 day period. I called the main number at Arundel Gas and Water and told them about the non-response. The individual that I first spoke with told me that the person that had come out to my house and provided the estimate had been away for a week or so, but was coming back, "...the next day", and asked if I would like to leave a message in her voice mail. I said yes, and did. The next day, after not receiving any phone calls or emails from my POC at Arundel Gas and Water, I called the main number again. The person I spoke with was very short with me and would only say to leave her a message. I tried to explain my situation in that I had no luck in reaching the person, but it was obvious that I was a bother to her. I then asked to speak to a manager. I was put on hold, and after approximately five minutes of waiting, a gentleman picked up the line and said he was a manager. Right away he had an attitude with me and seemed very hostile. He would only say that I would have to wait until my POC had a chance to review her emails and voice mails and get back to me. I again told him about the excessive delay in hearing back from the company and that I needed to move forward with getting propane for my generator. I asked if someone else could help me. Apparently not. I even made the remark that it did not seem like they wanted my business, and I felt I was forcing them to help me. The matter was NOT resolved with the manager, and I ended the call telling him that I guess I would have to wait to hear back from their person, but would probably call another propane company. The end of the story is that my POC at Arundel Gas and Water NEVER called or emailed me back. I called another company, one that was rated all, "A's", on Angie's List, and they responded IMMEDIATELY. In fact, my propane will be delivered today, on two business days' notice. Now that is service! Honestly, Arundel Gas and Water just did not seem to want my business, and were very rude to me on the phone.

First visit the company sent an installation crew that was unable to give me an estimate of the work. I asked for an estimate. Next the estimate and then the crew came to install. The installation failed inspection twice. We finally passed on the third try. The whole activity took over one month to complete a very simple installation. I used this company because they own the tank. My next tank will not be from this company.
Description of Work: run a line from my LP tank to the gas grill on my patio.
