Description of Work: We had them install an iron handicap ramp at the front of the house. We (and it seems, the neighbors) are very please with how that turned out. We also had them refurbish the deck using maintenance free materials. They even worked in the rain some days. We have been very happy with their work.

Description of Work: I Invited Larry to view project area and discuss potential options, and he was very professional - however after initial visit, he never responded with any estimate even after several phone calls and emails. Disappointed, so I'm moving on with another contractor for the work.

Description of Work: They built a ramp onto my deck, fixed the columns and railings on the porch, built a lovely wardrobe in my bedroom and tightened a very loose inside banister.

Description of Work: Larry remodeled our kitchen, family room and two baths. The kitchen project included demolition of our old kitchen and installation of new cabinets, counter tops, tile backsplashes, new appliances, new wood floors, custom moldings, sliding door, ceiling fans and skylights; everything right down to the painting. Larry's design of our new kitchen/great room is fantastic! The bathrooms also included major demolition, new showers and installation of custom shower doors, vanities and tops, new fixtures and floor to ceiling tile. The custom tile in the shower is beautiful. And the bathroom was designed to be handicap accessible when needed. The icing on the cake is a lovely pergola built just outside the kitchen which gives us a great place to entertain family and friends. We are in the process of having a two car garage built and will review when complete. And all of this work was performed while we spent the winter in Florida! We arrived home to our stunning kitchen and baths and we could not be happier with the finished product, the quality of workmanship and Larry's attention to detail. He included us in all the decisions long distance and emailed pictures of the project regularly so we could keep up with progress. His energy and efforts were tireless. I cannot say enough good things about Comer Construction and we highly recommend Larry for your home improvement projects. Thanks Larry for a job well done.

Description of Work: This is not the first job we have had Larry do. He has built a three car garage, remodeled our kitchen, done several maintenance tasks such as replacing windows, doors etc. and now we have had him remodel our master bathroom. Larry and his crew do great work with attention given to every detail. This was a messy job as some of the old bathroom had to be taken out prior to beginning the remodel. Larry and his crew were very detailed in keeping this as clean as possible and not allowing the mess to transfer into other rooms. Every day when they left they made sure we could still utilize the portions of the bathroom they did not have to remove such as sinks, toilets etc. Larry was there just when he said he would be to begin the job and was there every day until it was completed. Larry built a ceramic tile shower for us and the workmanship was superb. Larry took the time necessary to explain all of the choices available to us as he took on this project to ensure it was exactly what we wanted and how we wanted it. I won't hesitate to have Comer Construction do our next job and would happily recommend them to anyone looking for quality workmanship and attention to detail at a fair and extremely competitive price.

Description of Work: Our offices were flooded due to a burst pipe. Larry and his team, completely gutted the facility including walls, floors and by default drop ceilings in order to properly remove old wall material. After demolition, services rendered included replacing insulation, drywalling multiple office areas, hallways and bathrooms, replacing floors (both vinyl and laminate floors), replacing cabinets and countertops, adding one window in a back office area, replacing drop ceilings, upgrading lighting fixtures and remodeling bathrooms with new fixtures and vanities.

Description of Work: An inside wall sustained water damage. Larry came to the house and gave a reasonable estimate to fix the damage and replace a window. After demo, other damage on the ouside of the wall was discovered and shown to us. Larry finished the inside and removed the siding on the ouside to see how bad the damage was on the outside wall. He showed us and explained the issues and fixed the damage in less than a day. They rebuilt an outer wall inside and out and replaced a window in two and half days with no disturbance to our home.

Description of Work: We have used Comer Construction numerous times and are extremely pleased with each and every job - no matter how big or how small! Building a detached 3 car garage was the first project Larry Comer completed for us in the summer of 2010. The entire process was a pleasure. He was quick to get us a bid, quick to start and quick to finish the garage - even in the scorching summer heat! We then decided to remodel our kitchen. As you can imagine, putting new appliances in old spaces presents large headaches. Larry was innovative and more than anything, patient! Our new kitchen is spectacular - better than what we imagined. His workmanship is great, his pricing competitive and his work ethic is fabulous. Your worries are minimum when he is on the job! Since the completion of these jobs, we have asked Larry to tackle several small jobs around the house (building a ramp, re-setting doors and other various "homeowner tasks"). We have referred Comer Construction readily to other friends who have been pleased with his work as well!
