Sears Air Duct Cleaning did the work. They had a device that supposedly could clean 20 feet of ductwork. Our ductwork is approximately 20 feet long, so their device was capable of cleaning the entire length of the ductwork. Our dryer wasn't working properly because of blocked ductwork. After doing the work, the Sears crew represented that the ductwork was completely clean and there was no more blocked air flow. After they left, the dryer still would not work because it continued to detect a blockage. My husband then went into the attic and ended up cutting open the ductwork and discovering that the Sears crew had not done their job correctly since it was totally blocked. Since he was already in the attic and had brought a vacuum cleaner and other tools with him, my husband finished the job that the Sears crew had not done, removing a large quantity of lint. I called Sears to complain and was told that I could not get my money back because the only recourse I have is written in small print on the back of the receipt: I must call Sears and schedule another appointment so they can fix the problem they hadn't fixed the first time. I was not aware of that requirement but if I had been aware of it I am not sure why I have to get a Sears crew back after the first crew was both incompetent and lied about doing the work properly.

Sear never came to my house because Trina cancelled my appointment. She made an incorrect statement that, I had to go to work. The supervisor Daisy never called me. I request from Trina and Maria to have Daisy call me, but to no avail.
Description of Work: Omar from Sears changed my time from 12:00 - 6:00 pm to 8:00 am - 12:00 pm. When I called Sears Trina told me my time is 12:00 - 6:00 pm and informed her that Omar called and told me my appointment was 8:00 am - 12::00 pm. Shen then told me she will give me 10% off the cost of air duct cleaning. I asked to speak with a supervisor. Trina told me Daisy is the supervisor and she will call me in an hour. Two hours passed and I called back and spoke to Maria and she informed me that Daisy was not at the sight. She also informed me that Trina typed in the computer that I wanted my service cancel for the day because I had to go to work. That is an incorrect statement. Maria also informed me that someone from Customer Service will call me on Monday. No one from Sears called me on Monday. Today is Friday, December 27, 2013, Sears called me to schedule an appointment for me for Saturday. I did not request to have an appointment for Saturday. I do not want an appointment from Sears.
