+ -1 moreMr Wheatley is an experienced professional who clearly has the knowledge to deal with older appliances. This is the second service call (first was successful repair of older Maytag washing machine) 1. Careful assessment revealed the problem's Root Cause (plumber made wrong assessment) 2. Replacement parts were ordered and installed as soon as they arrived 3. Again confirmed my judgement that older appliances are less complicated and can be reasonably repaired with this COMPETENT AND HONEST SERVICE

Description of Work: Older Maytag top loading washing machine was spilling water onto the floor during each fill cycle. Service was prompt (actually a little early), competent (root cause identified and demonstrated because I need to know those details), alteration made to a sloppy design flaw to prevent re-occurrence), and verified now with about ten more wash cycles with no more trouble!!! Kudos for this service (Old school approach and job well done). This is being added to my Golden List!!

Description of Work: Mr. Wheatley answered my call about problems I am having with my washing machine. After discussing for a few minutes, he determined that I needed to contact Whirlpool, as it would probably need to be replaced. He offered to come out at no charge... I will definitely contact him in the future for any other appliance issues that come up!

+ -1 moreI called on Friday afternoon late. He was out of town, was willing to come on Saturday but I told him not necessary. He said that he would be there first thing Monday morning after the pump arrived at his shop. At 9A:15AM he called and said he was enroute and arrived here about 9:45AM. He came in the house prepared to complete the job. Took the machine cover off and began checking, He found the clog - removed a large hairball (I have dogs) - flushed the system and checked the rest of the machines parts. He was done in about 20 minutes. Very pleasant, very prompt and saved me a bundle!!
Description of Work: washing machine would not spin or drain. thought it was the pump. Found a clog in the internal filter. 20 minutes later the machine was up and running. Did not need the pump - but he was prepared with the proper parts is needed. EXCELLENT SERVICE.
