They were a terrible choice, I am disappointed in the broker that assigned me to them. They don't adhere to the time table they set, they try to rush you through paperwork which you don't even get a copy of when they leave with your stuff, their customer service reps could not sound more disinterested in helping you. Nothing has been on time so far and I keep getting charged for more than what was contracted. If a second floor delivery is going to cost more then be upfront don't tell me you are up charging the day before delivery. I am just now praying my stuff actually shows up and is the same shape it left my house in. Horrible experience so far.

Niko was the best foreman that has helped us moving. Me and my family had to move trough the states a couple of times, but our experience booking with Overland was the perfect moving experience every family would like to have when they are moving. The team was fast, communicative, and they cared for our items. Niko was very polite and professional, we had a lot of questions to to them, but they answered to everything with a smile on the face. Thank you sincerely for the pleasant experience, we would totally recommend you to our family and friends.

I Have used many movers before but this company was top notch. The process of contacting them setting up a move date and the actual procedures was easy. The movers were prompt polite and very careful with all of my belongings. Ivy guided me through the whole process and the crew answered all my questions and put me at ease.

All these reviews here are fakeeee!!! this company is terrible! their trick is that they send you an estimate that is not even slightly close to what they have planned to charge you at the end and if you do not agree to pay them they will hold your stuff hostage. Not to mention that one day before the move, when I called they did not have any idea about the move at all since the sales man had made a mistake with our date of move. 20 phone calls back and forth and finally they showed up the next day, charged us 4 times more for the 5 pieces of furniture and 4 boxes ( we had told them exactly what we were moving) and when we arrived to the destination they unloaded the truck and left everything on the ground floor, saying that if you want us to take them upstairs it would take us long and we will have to charge you again!! be careful people!! they are scammers and at the end all they have to say is that 'we go by hours' !!!! awful

Although the driver was very kind and courteous throughout the move, it took him and the other mover, whose first day on the job it was, 11 hours to complete the pickup! (4 pm to 3 am). I shared several concerns about insufficient packing to protect fragile items such as my desktop computer, musical instrument and Dyson vacuum, and was reassured that special packaging would be applied after bringing everything to the van. As far as I can tell, the packing of these items was not improved, and nobody from the company can confirm. Also, I never received an inventory form, and it's clear that most of the boxes were not even marked with an ID. This is after specifically telling the driver I wanted him to do the inventory before leaving. He ended up leaving without explicitly stating it was his last trip, so I could not request the inventory. The big problem, is that as of this writing, it has been 38 days (25 business days) and I have not received my belongings. On the two occasions I called the company - June 26 and today - they could not give me a scheduled delivery date. We are now we'll past the 21 business day maximum in the moving agreement, and I demand to have my belongings. As far as I'm concerned, this is theft. Overland isn't even making the slightest effort to communicate with their dispatch team and resolve this issue. Each time I call they tell me they're still waiting for an updated delivery date from dispatch and to call back the following week. It's as if they're oblivious to the fact they have any responsibility to their customers whatsoever! I highly advise against using Overland if you want a good moving experience. They're doing business like it's the 1950s and with no concept of customer service.

This was the worst moving service I have ever dealt with. Their “motto” is on time service, accurate pricing and always professional- they are none of these things in any way. They were hours late, their “crew” of 3 people went down to 2 people because one of them just stopped working after like 30 minutes so it took them over nine hours to load our already packed up house. Then they couldn’t fit everything after assuring us when they got there over and over again that it would fit no problem. Then sent us an invoice for 140% above their original quote - when I requested a credit to at least cover the additional $2,500 we incurred for a hotel, flight and uhaul to complete the job we hired THEM to do they refused saying they couldn’t do that because “accounting would flag it” and their “owner is hands off” because he owns several business (of which I can’t imagine are well run business either because this place is a money sucking joke) - and then threatened to hold our stuff hostage until we made yet an additional $1500 payment. Do not ever - EVER hire this shady, mismanaged, poorly run, poor integrity and terrible ethics excuse for a “company”

It is truly hard to fully describe just how bad these folks turned out to be. We moved 2 states away and had them store our items for 2 weeks in between. They just manhandled our items, despite promises that they would be oh so careful. After negative reviews started coming in I called Tim and got reassurance after reassurance that all the reviews were false and that they'd handle my items professionally and with care. They didn't... Among the broken items were an antique chair that belonged to my grandfather, a cedar chest that belonged to my grandmother, and stained glass made by my father. Beyond the family heirlooms they also broke a bedside table, a standing mirror, a recumbent bike, a treadmill, a wood futon frame...the list goes on and on. Part of the problem was having them store the items. They packed the truck, unpacked it, repacked a different truck, and unpacked that one. Each time they stacked items precariously and handled items roughly, doubling the chance of breakage. So, beyond destroying my items, they also stole the one item that was not in a generic box...a $100 set of cookware my wife bought me for my birthday. It was in the original box so they knew what it was and stole it. They also showed up late on delivery, telling me it was because they had to avoid the highways since the truck was over its weight limits....how's that for safety and care? And worst, one of the guys kept hitting on my teenage daughter so that she went off and hid until they were away. When it came time to make a claim for damaged items they denied stealing the cookware, denied a handful of damages, and offered a measly 60 cents a pound for the rest. Bottom line here...they are awful, big time. Pay a little more and go with a reputable company. I truly regret ever calling these folks.

Totally dissatisfied with the service. They picked up my furniture on the 25th of February 2021, They were to start with 4.5 hours late, promised of a 1st pick up for the day, least price compared to other 4 SP and delivery within 5 days, hour long of conversation with the sales rep, under estimated the weight, $1500.00 additional fee due to under estimate by the sales rep, 5 days delivery time, furniture has been with them since February 25, 2021, and I haven't get my furniture yet until now, they don't provide exact or estimated date when they could deliver my furniture, I have inquired with the sales representative and he said that once the things gets picked up, that I will be notified within 24 hours by the scheduling department, but the scheduling people does not have any idea when they could deliver.

The movers were super professional and moved me in the middle of a snow storm. They were quick, efficient, and overall wonderful.

Even in an ice storm these men arrived on time and efficiently. They took apart multiple pieces of furniture and reassembled at the new house. I was so impressed with how quickly and carefully everything was done. I will definitely use for future moves and refer my friends in need of a moving company.

Moving went very well!! I needed to move from one state to another and the move went very smoothly with no issues. The company, as well as the movers, made sure that my belongings were packaged well and arrived safely at the destination. Based on my experience, I have no reservations in recommending the company and their services to others.

Terrible 2 hours late and then charged an extra hour for two men after a firm price was given. Belongings held hostage until I paid the extra. Furniture damaged and dirty.

If I could rate this company NEGATIVE stars I would. We had the most horrible experience moving because of them. I have been trying to reach someone at the company for weeks now with no luck to discuss our broke furniture. We used them July 18th for our move. We booked an 8-10am slot. NO ONE SHOWED UP. We began calling at 9 to confirm and could not get through to anyone. It took almost 4 hours to get someone on the phone. Once we did- they said someone forgot to put us on the schedule and they’d be there in the hour. 2 hours later they showed up. They did not wear masks or gloves, and they BROKE several pieces of furniture. Our 1 year old furniture all brand new-king size bed is broken, our ottoman legs, our couch is broke in a few places. When they arrived to our new home we asked that they wear masks because we had an infant inside and the head guy gave us a hard time and rolled his eyes at my husband for asking. The other two workers were kind and respectful. However- that being said- our move started 5/6 hours after it should have- our furniture is broken and they did not follow COVID guidelines so I will be contacting the health department as well. PLEASE don’t risk your valuables and hard earned money on this awful company. All of this heartache and the woman after they didn’t show up gave us $30 off.. GEEE THANKS!

It is not done yet would makes me scared because the start has not gone well. They increased there quote based on a miscount. If I want to complain they will charge me more to review the count. So I have to accept there count plus pay an extra fee to pay the difference. Once they have my property I basically am stuck with every charge they want and no way to complain without a cost. So even if I have them do a count and I am correct I pay a fee to do the recount. When I spoke with customer service I was basically left with only one option. Deal with it. I have one warning. Do not trust their initial quote and make sure you verify all your items and have them sign something before they leave they you both agree with the count.

Showed up at 9PM the night before delivery was scheduled and demanded that we take possession of the property or it would be taken back to Maryland. They already had it for several weeks.

Not good. Took two weeks for my stuff to show up. Showed up late at night and the boxes look like they were packed and unpacked multiple times into a truck. They were smashed, broken down and smelled of diesel fuel. The company did a poor job of keeping me up to date on delivery eta. Since it was late when my stuff finally arrived, the drivers had been driving all day and had another 5 hours when done. They just dumped most things in the garage in a pile of broken down and smashed boxes. May things broken, damaged or no longer usable. One of the movers actually asked to use the bathroom and when I walked past, I heard the shower running. Yes, he took a shower in my bathroom. In the middle of the corona virus lock down yet. I have filed for damages but I don't expect I will hear anything further from them. This was a very poor experience and I paid top dollar for what I thought was a trustworthy company. Beware....

I hired Green Line Moving for my move from Arlington, VA to Raleigh, NC. On the morning of my move they called to say they needed to postpone because of "weather." It was a beautiful day. I explained to them that no where in the contract did it state that they could cancel because of weather, and it did not say anything about this on the website. They then agreed to still pick up my stuff that day. After arriving 3 hours late for the move, the movers loaded everything into the truck. This was Sunday My husband had explained to them before hiring them that we needed the stuff delivered to North Carolina no later than the next Friday, and they told us this was possible. We proceeded to call them every day for the next week for an update on when things would be delivered, and were continually told they did not know and that they did not think we could have our things delivered by Friday, even though that is what we had been promised. Finally, they agreed to deliver our things that Saturday. Instead of professional movers, they hired 2 men off of Craigslist to assist with the move. They were supposed to put together all of our furniture, but since the movers were 3 hours late again, and we did not feel comfortable having random men from Craigslist in our home, we simply asked them to unload everything into our garage. After moving everything ourselves into the house, we noticed that 2 trunks were missing. We have now been trying for over a month to have the trunks delivered, and nothing has happened. We keep getting a responses like "my boss is out of town" and "we don't move much in September." It was Green Line's fault that the trunks did not make in the initial move and yet they have done nothing to remedy this. I have never experienced such unprofessional movers in my life, and would strongly recommend not going with Green Line Moving. It has been a nightmare.

They arrived on time and ready to work. They were professional and friendly and they finished within the allotted time. They took great care of my stuff my wrapping all my leather furniture in layers of plastic wrap and padded all my wood furniture from being sctatched. I was very pleased and I would hire them again if the circumstance presents itself in the future.

They quoted $1,386.00 but charged $3.618.85. They were late. Trashed a mirrored storage cabinet and scratched our TV. They ripped us off. They said our stuff weighed 4,900 pounds. The moving guys said no way did it weigh that much. We tried to contact them several times but no response. They said if we did not pay we would not get our stuff.
