I called and spoke to Phyllis about services I needed. She was able to get me a ballpark price over the phone. The price seemed very reasonable compared to other estimates. The soonest they were able to come out was about 5 days. I made arrangements for service but ended up getting it done a little bit sooner. I have no complaints. She was very helpful and I would not hesistate to call them again if I needed service.

Erickson Plumbing was the third company to give us an estimate. When the others came they looked at the radiator and said: this is what is wrong and you need to pay hundreds of dollars! When Ken came he said: this might be a simple fix, let me see what I can do. He tweaked this and tweaked that and Voila! it was fixed at NO CHARGE to us! I greatly appreciate his honesty. Any future job that I may have Erickson Plumbing would be my first call. Not just because he didn't charge us but because he was extremely professional, prompt and personable. P.S. He gave us an estimate for another job and his was the best of the three. Highly recommend!

There were a number of old fixtures that had to be replaced in one bathroom. A new toilet replaced in another bathroom and a water leak in a condo. Unfortunately, because the fixtures were old it took some time to get them and have them replaced. Ken was very professional and everything was spotless after he left.

The Erickson employee was considerate enough to phone with an approximately one-half hour delay in time of service. The workers arrived at the adjusted time. From the beginning, the workers were able to establish that they knew exactly what the problem was, and that they would be able to perform the task in a timely manner. They asked if there were any other concerns. I indicated that I have had problems with water pressure for a considerable amount of time. He indicated that it could be a quick fix with a simple valve adjustment. For an added bonus, the valve was adjusted, the water pressure was back to normal. As the work proceeded, the worker found that in addition to rebuilding the tank of the commode, that they would have to secure the base of the commode which had initially been installed incorrectly. It was explained to me that the adjustment needed to made in order to keep water/waste spillage around the commode. Since water spillage had been a problem, I concurred, and the additional work was performed. The workers were quiet, unobtrusive and left no debris behind. The work took longer than expected because of the additional problem cited with the base of the commode. There was an extra charge because of the additional work. After the commode job was finished, I asked if they could take a look at my kitchen sink faucet which had a leak. Immediately, upon seeing the faucet, the worker said,"no problem". The ball at the base of the faucet was replaced in a matter of minutes. The original quote of $177 was increased to $400 because of the additional work required on the commode and the faucet fix. I had no problem with the increase in price because the work was completed effectively and efficiently.

Ken did an amazing job, he was able to tuck all of the plumbing into the walls of the house and weave it through closets etc.... We ended buying the toilet and sinks from Ken, his price was fine but the quality was waaaayyyyyyy better than other stores. Good call by Ken. Ken is really impressive, his price for service is great, and he is fast. The only thing I would say is that Ken's popularity is growing fast and he is becoming hard to book at times. But I guess that comes with being successful and doing a great job. Ken is the best.

We called Erickson Plumbing very concerned about the pipes in our house when they started clanging very loudly in the walls. The plumber came out very quickly and put our fears to rest by resetting a pressure valve near the main valve. It turned out that we hadn't been getting enough water pressure to the house for years, and once the valve was adjusted, the pipes stopped clanging and we suddenly had very good water pressure. Since ours was a quick fix, he asked us what else needed work in order to get more out of the call fee, and then inspected and changed the flushing mechanisms to two of our toilets when we mentioned some were running constantly. When we had him look at a non-working shower, he quickly diagnosed that the shower hadn't worked because of the water pressure problem, but the valve fix also made the shower work again. (another plumber had told us it was the faucet, but this wasn't the case at all) It works now! We were pleased that he took the time to explain things to us, and didn't try to sell us fixes we didn't need. It was a very positive experience, and we feel, a good value.

The overall cost was very reasonable and we were extremely happy with the results. Phyllis is very friendly and very responsive and Ken is both professional and friendly. He came when he said he would (which is sadly unusual these days!) and did a great job. We will definitely use Erickson again in the future and highly recommend this company.

Ken was very thorough in many respects. He explained all the different possibilities for the problem, gave me choices for the repair, and took extra care to protect walls, floors and carpeting. I called Ken for this repair because he had done work at my home 6 months earlier and I was very pleased with his service. For this second problem I knew who to call without question. I will continue to use Erickson Plumbing for any future plumbing issues and will recommend him to others.

Ken is the man. For this job we got two quotes and he came in under the quote. He scheduled and completed the work quickly and professionally. Ken is professional and nice to deal with. We have a very old house and he is not flustered at all by it. We love working with Ken.

Ken if fantastic! He was light years better than any plumber I've ever hired. He really makes the guys that the home warranty folks send look very bad. The job was done perfectly and with extraordinary skill and care. Ken is also a very nice and well meaning guy. I highly recommend him. We did have to reschedule twice, but it only set us back a few days. He had to order a part and it was the weekend. Then they forgot to call me back and let me know the part didn't come in. I hold none of this against him though, as it was more than worth the wait and was an honest mistake. Just make sure you call the receptionist if you are unsure about anything. She was very nice and helpful. Contact Ken without hesitation, he blows other plumbers out of the water.

He came to do the work and actually got there ahead of time and finished the work in a much shorter period of time that he originally thought it was going to take. He actually completed the work under budget. When was the last time that happened with a plumber? He cleaned up so that it was like he was never there. I have never sen a guy work so hard and fast on a job. There was NO time wasted. This is important as plumbers more often than not charge for their time. He understood the nuances of fixing plumbing on old houses in Baltimore and also cleaned out a slow drain in a way I have never seen. Finally, my father is 96 and Ken was patient and took the time to explain to him the work that he did. I appreciated this more than he could imagine. Dignity is an important thing for our senior citizens. I would and have already recommended Ken ( Erickson Plumbing) to all my friends. He's a great plumber and a great person to boot!

Everything went well. Ken is a master plumber. He knew everything that he was doing and he even found mistakes that other plumbers made. It was a fabulous experience and I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Ken and his assistant fixed a leaky kitchen Delta faucet. He was able to repair it without the cost of purchasing a new unit. I called him back several days later, to repair another leaking faucet - this time in the master bathroom. He took the unit apart, and was able to put a piece back together and reassemble the unit, and said "no charge" for the return trip. Both times he came quickly, cleaned up, and was professional and friendly.

I called Phyllis this morning at 8am and requested a plumber to fix a leaky water pipe. She scheduled an appointment for this afternoon. I called BGE to report a faint smell of gas in our basement and they sent a technician who traced it to a shut off valve which was faulty. The technician recommended I call a plumber, who I incidentally already had on the way.Ii called Phyllis back to see if they could fix this as well. She called Ken and he said he could and asked if he could come earlier as he finished a job early, I replied yes. Ken and his assistant showed up on time ready for work. They scoped out the job and worked up an estimate, which I was satisfied with, not shocked! Upon inspection Ken found our gas main line to our furnace was both faulty and improperly installed. He explained it thoroughly and began working immediately. They brought all the necessary equipment and tools, there were no "we'll be back we have to run to Home Depot" excuses. It was hot and stuffy in the area they were working and stayed with the job. I was surprised they didn't take a lunch break or smoke breaks and linger around, as I have experienced that in the past. Ken was all about business and it showed in the quality of their workmanship. To top it off we received a 10% discount for being Angies list members. Phyllis who manages the administrative part of the business was efficient, thorough and didn't waste time in responding or answering my questions. I was recommended Ken's name from another Angies list contractor who was equally as professional.

I emailed the company from Angie's list listing page and I was called almost immediately and an appointment. was made. Five minutes later, the woman in the office called and said the company just started charging $25 to give an estimate due to the price of gas. As I found this outrageous in almost any circumstance, it was especially ridiculous as according to the location listed in their information page on Angie's list as they are located in the area where I live.

I am very glad I decided to use this company. They were very knowledgeable and friendly. I would defintely use them again.

I decided to fix a number of nagging issues arround the house (an icemaker hookup, externall hose bib and a slow drain that tormented me for a year). Erickson was not the cheapest quote, but I decided to go with them because of their proffesionalism and responsiveness after talking with a few other plumbers. Overall, I'm very happy with the quality of work, and the house was left neater than they found it.

After discovering a very obvious leak, we called Erickson Plumbing. Ken Erickson and his assistant Paul arrived promptly at the scheduled time. Ken quickly determined the initial problem and gave us a written on-the-spot estimate of the expected charges. He said that as he got further into the repair, he might encounter other contributors to the problem. There was only one additional charge - that to pull and reset the toilet and repair the flange. Every repair was thoroughtly explained and, all in all, the entire bill was just under $400 - I was amazed at how reasonable this was. He even gave us a 10 percent discount for being Angie's List members! They also used drop cloths to protect our floors and suggested a potential contractor to handle the tile replacement. I will definitely call Erickson for any future plumbing needs.

everything went very well. I received a call the morning of the appointment confirming that they were on their way. They showed up on time and promptly begin work. After the work was complete everything was explained and the work was complete.

I had a great experience with Erickson Plumbing--they fixed all the problems I had, explained what they were doing as they went, and cleaned up so well that you couldn't even tell they had been there. I will definitely use them in the future for all my plumbing needs.

I have used Erickson Plumbing for several jobs since he was referred to me in August 2010. I have never been disappointed. I believe his pricing is fair and the quality of work is excellent. Ken, the owner of Erickson Plumbing, is very professional and detail oriented. He never cuts corners and always uses the best materials. During his first visit, he let me know what needed to be replaced on my water heater and provided me with an estimate that day. I decided to wait and have Ken install a tank less water heater at a later date. He clearly explained the tax refund and process for the energy rebate. He did a great job with the installation, removed the old water heater, and left the area as clean as it was when he came in. I highly recommend Erickson Plumbing.
