They were absolutely wonderful. I used him because he had the best price among other bidders. He was super honest with me especially concerning the bills and he was knowledgeable. I have recommended them to other people.
Description of Work: I used them to replace a wall and they did the sidings. They also did the gutters.

Gene was recommended from a trusted plumber. He was very responsive to my initial call and always returns my calls promptly. With each project, he and his crew arrived when they were scheduled to arrive, and continued with the job until it was complete, always within a reasonable time frame. Not only is their work always well done, but they clean up after themselves. He and his crew take great pains to make the work as convenient and unobtrusive as possible. Gene is also very responsive if there is any kind of problem. After our kitchen was completed, the water line to the fridge came undone on a Sunday. Luckily, we noticed it right away and limited the amount of water in the kitchen and the water pouring into the basement. We called Gene immediately, and he arrived to check everything a couple hours later. And this was a Sunday afternoon. There was no lasting damage. The line was replaced on Monday morning. We use Gene for all our projects, small and large. He also helps makes recommendations for other contractors for work he doesn't do himself, such as landscaping. Aside from being professional and punctual, he is also a really friendly, gregarious guy with a strong work ethic. I can't recommend him enough.
Description of Work: I have used Diamond Point for multiple projects. The most recent project was the installation of a new roof and new gutters with leaf guards. Gene, the owner, also replaced some rotting pieces of wood and installed attic vents. Last year, Gene and his crew built us a new roof for our car port. The old roof had to be completely torn down and rebuilt. He also repointed our chimney and installed three new windows in the house. The total cost was about $10,000. A couple years ago they remodeled our kitchen. Total cost about $25,000 (including custom cabinets and quartz countertops). They ripped out the existing cabinets, installed new cabinets, repaired dry wall, helped give ideas for the new design, installed recessed lighting, brought the electrical up to code, and installed new plumbing features.

They gutted it and put it all back together. Everything in there now is brand new. They did a great job. My experience with them was good. The man who worked on the project is also the owner of the company. He was very helpful because he helped me redesign the bathroom. The new bathroom placement is very different because we moved everything, including the shower and the bath. He also suggested some safety railings for my mother, and a higher toilet seat. His suggestions made the new bathroom better for everybody. He was here every day right on time, and he worked straight through until it was finished, because we only have one bathroom in the house. I think he sub-contracted the electrical work, because he didn't actually do it himself. He just managed the men that did the electrical work. Everything he did has held up, and I haven't had any problems. His price was very fair, because the other companies I looked at were three times his price. I was very satisfied with them. I would use him again if the work I needed is something that he does. I am getting ready to have another room revamped, but he doesn't specialize in that particular type of job, so I am getting someone else to do that for me.
Description of Work: Diamond Point Construction redid my bathroom. They also helped me figure out how to redesign the bathroom to make it bigger.

The project overall went very well. From the beginning Gene was amiable and easy to talk to. He is competent in construction techniques, was able to effectively use plans that I had drawn up by an architect and understood how to interact with my architect in order to get the job done. He also seemed to care about overall price and did not have an issue advising cheaper alternatives if they made sense. He consistently arrived on time with his crew and personally supervised all the major work that was done (towards the end one of his senior workers would come out to do final touch up work). I had a great experience with Diamond Point and would definitely use them again.
Description of Work: Both my basement and backyard in my Baltimore row home had dirt floors when I moved in. In my basement Gene leveled and laid a new concrete floor. He also added a sump pump and drain tiles. On the door leading from my basement to my backyard he removed a brick stairway that was so steep it almost butted up against the door as a wall. He then built a new concrete stairwell with a drain leading to my sump pump. In the backyard he laid a new concrete pad and built a new wood landing from my first floor back door to the concrete pad. He also built a wooden fence around my backyard area. Lastly, he had subcontractors reroof the small extended roof on an old addition and then built a second floor deck which extended over both the previously built stairwell and landing. He also replaced the siding and gutter on this second floor area.

The owner is an energetic, good natured man who has a quality crew, some who have been working with him for many years. They were on the job just about everyday they physically could be. The job progressed smoothly and on a timely basis with no major interruptions. Overall a great product and a great experience.
Description of Work: An addition that doubled the size of my home as well as a a full home renovation. Updates to kitchen, bath and other rooms. New electric and plumbing. New walls and new floors (tile and hardwood).
