Mr. Bamford is an amazing gem. We have hired him repeatedly for different projects, and he ALWAYS goes above and beyond. Whether it's working over 15 hours straight to make sure we had hot water for the next morning, pricing out all of the alternatives to get us the best deal, or just popping by when we call to check out the issue and see what it will take, his service is above any provider I've ever worked with. I highly recommend him, and am grateful for the excellent service he provides.

Everything went great. The old hot water heater was removed and then the new hot water heater was installed where I requested it to be with all of the plumbing done in a neat professional manner. It was a pleasure working with Bamford plumbing and I have been very happy with the work they have done. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

He explained all the parts that were needed, how an expanding pipe would be best since my mud room--where the pipe runs through--is not heated, and how the outside faucet mounting would be a bit tricky, and I couldnt be happier. I can clean my backyard, water plants, no problems at all. He also replaced my bathroom showerhead in about two minutes and I have perfect water pressure now. He was friendly, affordable, informative, and amenable. I look forward to hiring him again!

Doug came out in the middle of a snow storm to fix my Furnace after not having heat for a few days. As always, Doug was very professional, honest, and performed great work. He was very meticulous taking apart my heating system and made sure everything was in working order before he left. I would definitely use him again!

We have used Doug 2 other times before, and had nothing but great experiences with him. When our pipe froze, he immediately came out to assist. And when I say immediately, I mean 11:30 PM. We had hoped to see him in the next day or so, but he came that evening. We were more than appreciative. The job required him to come back the next morning to complete, and he was here less than 10 hours later. We were without water for less than a day thanks to Doug. I cant begin to tell you how professional he is, he took the time to explain why this occurred, what would prevent it in the future, and what to expect going forward. With Doug, everything is above board, and there are no hidden costs.

I called for a leak near my shower. Had spread into the adjacent room and I was concerned about the floor below. The person who answered the phone was very professional and after checking their schedule realized that they couldn't get anyone out to see me within the next couple of weeks. Seeing as it was a potentially significant issue, they apologized and referred me to Aqua Plumbing.

The repairman called to let us know he was running late which was greatly appreciated. A part needed to be ordered and the repair was completed within two days. Unfortunately, there was welding/soldering involved which left permanent "stains" on our shower floor.

Saved me $$! BGE home checked my furnace and said I needed to replace lots of stuff. Doug came out and identified the real problem and saved me hundreds of dollars. Definitely would recommend this company.

The service from Bamford Plumbing & Heating Inc. went great. He kept his scheduled appointments and had no need to come back because he did everything 100% the first time through. He is a general plumber, but his knowledge of boilers was exceptional, I learned a lot.

Bamford Plumbing is all they are cracked up to be and more. Service was excellent and done perfectly and within an acceptable time frame. I had an appointment with Bamford for 9am. They promptly called me at 9 when it was apparent he would not be there when promised. I was totally fine with this. He arrived on time later as stated. Doug came in and I showed him the issues. He clearly explained to me what he was going to do in a way that was easily understandable. He asked to see the shower (a separate problem I wanted a quote on only) and explained what he thought was wrong and what the range of cost would be depending on what he found while fixing it. We agreed that it would be done another day. Doug went to work on the faucet and water line as agreed. He was quick and thorough with his work. He showed me everything he did, the new valves added and how everything was supposed to work. He also went over how to make simple adjustments to the faucet that may be needed in the future. He showed me how to turn off the water if was ever needed. When he was done, he cleaned up everything. Lastly, he explained his guarantees and the guarantee on the faucet I bought. It was a pleasure to deal with Doug and I look forward to making another appointment with him soon. I highly recommend Doug and Bamford Plumbing. No wonder he has a straight "A" rating!

Doug is very responsive to requests and tries to accommodate you. He is above board and makes sure that permits are pulled and inspections are done, if required. He does everything by the book, does not cut corners. I ask a lot of questions and he is always willing to explain the reasons behind what he does and how. Great company, highly recommended. I'm having him back for some additional work this summer.

Excellent responsiveness and communication. Final price was exactly as quoted. The work completed was in one of my rental properties and I have not heard anything about this so I assume the work was successful. Kristin set up the appointment directly with the tenant and confirmed back to me by email promptly. You can always get either Doug or Kristen on the phone immediately which is rare today.

My girlfriend called me to tell me she had just got home and there was water on the floor. I went straight home and found the water heater leaking. I called Bamford Plumbing and spoke to a lady who asked several questions concerning the the tank number and approximate age (in case it was still under warrenty) and she took my phone number and said she would call me right back with an estimate. Roughly 4 minutes later she called me back to give me an estimate and unfortunately to tell me that they couldn't be out until the next afternoon. She recommende several other plumbers in my area and said she would hold the apointment just in case I couldn't get someone out sooner. Well I called Heidler and was told someone would call me back. 45 minutes later a technician called and said he would be out and it would cost $185. I asked what the charge was for and he said to look at what was leaking! I explained it was the water heater leaking and I had turned the water off to the heater at this point and he said he could come out and cut the line to the water heater for $185 and there was nothing else he could do since it was after 4pm. Again I said I had turned the water off and to have a good night. I called Bamford back and told the lady I wanted to keep the appointment and told her what Heidler had said and she was shocked and appologized for what had happened and suggesting them as someone to call. I received a call from Bamford in the morning to give me an approximate arrival time. They arrived in the early afternoon as promised and replaced my water heater and necessary fitting. They also had to install a inline preassure tank as required by Anne Arundel county, since there wasn't one at no additional charge. Overall an outstanding and professional business!

Doug at Bamford came on time and had the water heater installed without any problems. Smooth service from start to finish.

He accommodated our schedule, was prompt and did a great job. I keep his information in case we ever need further plumbing work I will call him back.

We were looking to install a tankless water heater and rough-in some plumbing in our basement. He doesn't do new-construction type work, so we ended up going with someone else. He did come over and talk for a while about the water heater options and I felt as though his information and experience was thorough and honest. Even though we didn't use Bamford for this project, I would in the future for other plumbing needs.

Doug did a phenomenal job! Very professional and courteous staff. Not too many places these days that you feel go above and beyond to provide good service - these guys are definitely like that. We work during the week and were unable to be present during installation, or later, when the work needed to be inspected. They accommodated our schedule by sending someone out to the house to be present during the inspection. They charged a small fee, but to us, it was worth not having to take a day off from work. We were extremely happy that they accommodated our needs, and they really did not a great job. Would definitely recommend!

He was on time. I needed him to come out once we had the walls up around the tub. He came back out to put the nob on since my husband couldn’t get it. He was able to come back out the same time. When he was going to be a couple of minutes late, he called us with plenty of time to let us know he had hit some traffic. He did excellent work which is why I will be calling him back.

Very well. I called in the morning, they kept in touch with me by phone as to when they would get here, and showed up right on time. No problems. I'd use them again in a minute, and plan to, to get the other (nondamaged) sink drain changed out, so the two match and work identically.
