Skilled Maids

While the company was initially very responsive in emailing me after I purchased the Big Deal, they've since been silent and have not confirmed the service date, even 2 days prior to the requested date. Even further, when I contacted them on a Friday to inquire about confirmation of a Monday or Tuesday service date, they told me the schedule is done on Mondays and I would find out on Monday which day they were coming. Suffice it to say, as this is a Move In/Out cleaning, I don't have the flexibility to deal with their inability to confirm a service date. I would not contact them again for service without serious improvements in their scheduling and communications process.

In 3 hours with a 3 person crew they brought it back to its previous glory! I didn't give them a 100% grade because they charged me a credit card fee, which wasn't mentioned in advance and I found a bit annoying. They were great cleaners and I recommend them!

Skilled Maids was very responsive and provided an even netter deal than Angie's List offered. They were available very quickly, arrived on time and did a perfect job of cleaning the home after we moved out. Our landlord was so impressed that she wanted a personal referral. I worked primarily with Connie, who was very courteous and professional.

Couldn't be happier with skilled maids - Called them on Monday to get information and their team came the very next day for my first cleaning. Their staff was prompt, professional and did a thorough and excellent cleaning job. Their prices are fair and worth every penny. Will be calling back to set up a schedule for regular cleaning services!!!

Skilled Maids responded to my telephone call promptly. However, they stated their Big Deal was limited to homes 2,000 sf or smaller. I read the Big Deal carefully before ordering and did not see that restriction (nor do I see it now when I re-read the Big Deal). Therefore, I would like to cancel the Big Deal. Thank you-

Really great. The place was spotless. I would not hesitate to hire them again. Considering the breadth of work involved, I was surprised that they finished everything. But they did, and it was done very well.

Provider did a wonderful job and left our house clean as it has ever been; was very pleased with the service. Would recommend them and will certainly utilize their services in the future.

I was very impressed with the cleaning that was done by your team at Skilled Maids. I am a stickler for clean and I can see that your team was trained to do a old-fashion deep clean. My house is relatively large and I was not bothered by having to pay for the additional two hours. The only thing I would suggest is that your team attempt to put items back into the places that they were in prior to the cleaning. As I stated earlier, I am interested in finding out what a monthly rate would be for my home. Please provide that detail so that I can consider monthly cleaning from your services. First, the cleaners showed up close to 40min late in the morning. It was explained by morning traffic but it rather seems poor judgement to not adequately account for the usual morning traffic to get to the desired destination. More importantly, we have been overall very disappointed by the quality of the move in cleaning especially given their prior ratings. The cleaning was characterized by a lack of details, e.g. corners still looked either dusty or partly dirty, or parts of the refrigerator were still dirty as well etc etc. If attention to details matters a lot, then clearly the cleaners have been performing the job very poorly and are not to be recommended. On a less important issue, we asked prior to the move in cleaning whether they could also clean the attic for an additional fee. They flatly rejected due to the summer period without actually focusing on aspects such as whether the attic was well aired, its temperature etc. For a cleaning company that supposedly ranks very highly, this also appears poor customer service. Overall, it was money badly spent on the move in cleaning.

3 person team showed at the arranged time (actually 15 min early) and started work right away. They were polite, thorough, and worked diligently for the scheduled 3 hour period. At one point, they were cleaning our screened back porch and front porch light. When my wife returned home, it even passed her inspection! Very pleased with the work and would consider them in the future.

They stated that the house was in really bad condition, smelled really bad and was not a good environment for their people to work in. Work was not provided.

They did a great job! I was extremely impressed with how clean my place looked afterwards and how they were able to fit so much in in only three hours of work. They had no problem moving my furniture around to clean behind the couches and under the cabinets. I had a lot of work for them to do, since the house had not be lived in in 2 years but the places looked brand new after they left. They even brought out my trash for me. I will definitely be using them again in the future and will recommend them to all my friends in the area!

I had a previous cleaning service that I honestly thought was overpriced and did not do a very good job and was not reliable. she was willing to work with my schedule, and she was very honest about the amount of time she spent cleaning. erything was cleaned, including the areas I always look at after cleanings (front of bed frame against wall at level of box spring, baseboards behind the sofa, etc.) Overall I was very happy with her service and have hired her to do my biweekly cleanings.

This company was very quick to return my email. They informed me quickly that they do not service my area.

Quick Summary: The quality of the cleaning was very good, professional, and timely. The only two issues were the cost (overpriced) and the limitations not stipulated until after purchase. Detailed Summary: Saw the Angie's Ad and purchased the $250 for 9-person-hour deep cleaning coupon. We put in 3 requested dates and they chose the latter one. We then received an email with some additional stipulations not found in the original ad: -------------------------- 1.Living areas: Please pick up all toys, books, clothes, so we concentrate on the cleaning. 2. Kitchen: We don?t wash dishes; we can load the dishwasher. If the dishwasher is full, we won?t unload(we don't want take the chance to misplace something in your kitchen that will be hard for you to find later on.) 3. We do not guarantee the results for mini blinds(some cases they had never been clean), if that is the case we won't guarantee the results. 4. If you expect us to change the sheets please leave them on the bed, have the clothes, toys, shoes picked up. 5. We are a pet friendly company, but if your pets are not friendly to others, please put them in a separate space so we can do our job. 6. Please leave garbage bags, paper towel on the kitchen counter. 7. Unless is included in your cleaning package "windows" are not part of our regular service, if you wish to have your windows cleaned, please let us know prior to your cleaning day. the charge is $5.00 per window inside or $8.00 in/out if window is reversible. ------------------------ In our case they cleaned the inside of the windows for no additional charge, but hopefully Angie's List will have them update their "details". The staff were professional, polite, and well versed in English. They showed up precisely within the time window they provided and were prepared to work. We felt that they did not need to be micromanaged and hit the ground running. Everything they cleaned they did thoroughly. Our house is not that large (3 floors, but 1800sf). Skilled Maids brought 3 staff and they did stay for almost precisely 3 hours (the 9 person-hours). Our disappointment was that they only completed the first two floors, and then said they ran out of time, and would be unable to complete the finished basement. Our criticism comes in that if each person was tasked to do one floor for 3 hours, there is no way they would not have completed. Instead, all three worked in the same areas and did a substantial amount of conversing. Overall, we think $250 was a lot for the actual amount cleaned. In reality, we believe you actually get about 6 hours for the $250 (not 9). We believe that had we posted a request on Craig's List to clean our entire 1800sf house for $250, we'd have gotten multiple offers. We probably would have considered hiring them again or on a regular basis had they completed the entire house within the timeframe. We recommend that others who are interested in hiring Skilled Maids get a commitment as to what they will complete.

They were extremely professional. They were very careful when moving things when they cleaned. They cleaned absolutely everything from top to bottom. Not a speck of dust was left. They did a thorough walk through after to make sure we were satisfied with the cleaning.

They were very punctual and polite. They did a wonderful job of cleaning my house. I have now asked to them to do monthly cleanings of my house.

Lily, who runs the business ia very nice. When she did the cleaning herself, it was great. My place is hugely messy & it looks a lot better when they leave.

As an everyday cleaning, it was fine -- they did a decent job cleaning the counters, the refrigerator and bathrooms. However, it was mediocre for the "move-in" cleaning I requested. I specified that I was willing to pay more for a deep cleaning, but the company seems to operate with strict rules. For example, they refused to clean the window sills, despite my offer to pay more. The mopping of the floors was cursory, and frankly, the house was still pretty dusty when they left. In all, they were there for about two hours, far short of what the place needed after months of neglect.

To put it bluntly - my house was crying out for this cleaning. I have a golden retriever and between that and just overall living - this was a challenge. I really appreciated how thorough they were - the stove hasn't looked this good in ages. They lifted the carpets and moved the sofa to get behind. They did the huge windows - sparkle!! Everything looks great. They arrived on the dot, they worked hard for 3 hours and did a great job. I plan to engage them on a regular basis. Thank you!
