Skilled Maids

We had trouble agreeing on a tie to come out and there were extra fees as well. I am a requesting a refund.

The service went fine. 2-3 cleaners were out and were able to clean what I needed done. They did an average cleaning job. They brought their own cleaning supplies but used some of ours as well. I had no problem scheduling the deal.

They showed up a little late due to a prior job becoming complicated. But, they kept me informed about their arrival delays. I was pleased about that. When they did arrive they jumped right in and made a very tough job look easy. Again, this place was very dirty and they did a job FAR FAR above my expectations. I would recommend them to anyone. It was all around an excellent job. Plus, they were easy to deal with, very responsive to scheduling and I was very pleased with the entire experience.

I was contacted quite quickly by Connie at Skilled Mails via email. We agreed on a date and time. I filled out a list of questions for them: size of house, how many bedrooms/baths etc. Three Skilled maids would come and work for three hours each. I put down my home as having 2500 square feet. Connie emailed back that with larger homes, it takes longer for deep cleaning. I was offered the option to prioritize which areas were most important in case the 3 hours weren't enough, or to pay for extra time. I opted to prioritize. The option wasn't really needed after all. I had deleted two upstairs bedrooms and did not need the basement done. I had more like 1700 to 1900 square feet to clean: a Master bedroom and bath. A guest bedroom and a hall bath on the second floor. The first floor was a living room, dining room , kitchen, family room and powder room. The maids arrived exactly at the promised time. They went upstairs first and went to work. They worked their way downstairs and finished in the kitchen. I was amazed at their efficiency and skill. My home sparkled! They went above and beyond what I expected. They were cheerful and professional. Communication was good. They finished in exactly three hours. I kept finding things that had been cleaned that I had not expected. All of my appliances were done...even the toaster oven and the coffee pot. The tile floor was beautifully done. The bathrooms were spotless. The blinds and baseboards were done. Dusting was excellent as was vacuuming...especially my rather challenging older wall-to-wall carpet in the bedrooms. They even made that look good. When I went to do a load of laundry I found that they had cleaned the laundry area as well. They emptied all of the trash, even the trash from the shredder in the kitchen. I tipped each maid for such good service. While I consider this a luxury for my budget, depending on the price, I am considering hiring Skilled Maids for ongoing monthly cleanings. I can highly recommend them.

I requested the ?Move Out? cleaning service through the Angie?s List Coupon. Skilled Maids contacted me the same day. Connie and I communicated through email to schedule an initial date, then to reschedule due to bad weather, and then to confirm arrival time for the day the service was scheduled. Communicating with them was very easy, and on the day of the service their staff showed up right on time. They went through the house with me and we discussed what was to be done in each area. The three ladies went right to work and did a very thorough job of cleaning the entire house in approximately 3 1/2 hours. The bathrooms and kitchen looked especially nice when they were finished. They did a very good job and I feel their service was an excellent value. I would definitely recommend Skilled Maids for any type of residential or commercial cleaning needs and I would certainly use Skilled Maids again for cleaning services.

As expected cleaned and dusted all rooms, including all horizontal surfaces and vacuum/mopping all floors. This was my mother's house which hadn't had a good cleaning in several years, so the crew also cleaned all moulding, and all window sills and tops of the lower window panes. Some of this required squeezing behind heavy furniture into narrow spaces, which they did.

Skilled Maids for your excellent service cleaning our home on Feb 25th and were flexible when we needed to reschedule. We were extremely satisfied with the work the team performed.

Arrived a little late because got lost. But well prepared for the work and went right to it. 3-person team for three hours. Very thorough, eager for feedback as they completed tasks.

They arrived promptly. It was to be 3 people for 3 hours; they left in 2.5 hours which would not have been a problem if they had done a good job. Some of what they did was more than satisfactory others were not. The owner did follow up to see if everything was okay which I appreciated. The upfront sales presentation was impressive but I was not that impressed with the final outcome.

The house looked wonderful once they were finished. They were very professional and we were very happy with the results

Everything went fine. The maids were professional, on time, and did a great a job. They were a little bit on the pricey side though. I would recommend the provider to other members and I will probably use them again.

Initial contact with the service went well. They were prompt in contacting me after the purchase to schedule service. We scheduled for December 19th. On December 18th, I received an email stating "I am very sorry to inform you that we had to move your cleaning for Monday,December 22nd." There was no inquiry as to whether that date would work or not, just a reschedule notice. I tried to work with them and agreed to January 5th which they confirmed via email on December 29th. On December 31, they emailed me to say that they only had January 6th available. I'm not sure what the expectation should be, but generally working people can't change their schedule at a moments notice to accommodate poor planning on the part of the company. Note that they did not call me to discuss available dates, just emailed to say when they were rescheduling me. I opted not to use the service and hopefully my friend will be able to get a refund. The company showed poor management skills and a lack of customer service.

Three ladies showed up (about 45 minutes late) and did a phenomenal job cleaning our approximately 2200 sqft house. The were there for 3 hours, and even made my disgusting oven spotless! We will definitely use them again in the future.

Skilled Maids was easy to work with. We had to reschedule our cleaning date due to a last-minute conflict on our end, and Skilled Maids accommodated our change in a timely manner. They did a great job in cleaning our house.

Apprx. 6 months ago I contacted them by phone to get some information and then scheduled them to do an initial cleaning, which went well. Based on that, I then scheduled them to do a cleaning monthly. The team is dependable and does a good job with the cleaning. The pricing seems reasonable considering the size of the house and compared to other companies' pricing. After the initial phone contact, all contact has been via email - such as questions regarding pricing, scheduling, etc. Replies are prompt and they also send an email reminder prior to each scheduled cleaning. The office and the team that does the cleaning has also been flexible when we've asked for some changes.

They did a light cleaning, and I do not feel that I got my money's worth. They were supposed to do a deep cleaning, and they did not do anything other than the basics that my regular cleaning service does. I had specific requirements that I requested, and they were not done. UPDATE 2/25/15: I contaced the provider and discussed the cleaning issues that were not satisfactory, to see what could be done to rectify the situation. The provider was unwilling to address the problem. Also, they stated in their response that they had called during the cleaning, which was not accurate.

I really appreciate how they attend to the details like cleaning the inside of the cabinet where the trash can sits.

I was very happy with the cleaning itself. Cleaners got here 20 past the 8am timeframe, but they also said to give them a 15 minute window for arrival. I purchased the Angie's List deal of 9 hours of cleaning for 250.00. Two cleaners arrived and started immediately. They did run out of time to deep clean a 1900 sq foot townhouse, and the company called to ask if I wanted to extend the cleaners time to finish the job. An extra 30 minutes of time was $45.00, and although I found that to but a bit high, but I accepted. They did a great job as I know the house's condition was in need of a deep cleaning.

Team of 3 arrived and turned my house into a spotless wonderland. Fantastic!
