Skilled Maids

Description of Work: Cleaned house prior to renting it; basic cleaning.

Description of Work: Terrible. To begin, I found it interesting that I received a letter with a list of things the contractor would not clean before the cleaning day. While I appreciated the heads up, I was taken aback by the fact that I was the paying customer and they were deciding what I could and could not have cleaned. The rest of the preliminary work was quite responsive and met the expectations established through the add for the services. | |I am sad to say that while the three ladies who appeared at my door on time were extremely nice and set about to complete the cleaning project, I did not find the quality of the service matched the price that was paid for the cleaning. | |In the past, I have paid half as much and recieved better quality cleaning than this contractor provided. At one point, I did bring one of the ladies back to an area to point out areas which were not adequately dusted. I hoped that would perhaps re-set their attention to detail. My goal was not attained. The areas between the tiles in the bathroom remained dirty, the windows which were included in the cleaning were not cleaned, only 2 of three appliances were cleaned, the floor boards were not cleaned as promised, even easy to move furniture was left in place, several items were never touched as indicated by the amount of dust seen on the items after the women left and worst of all I discovered too late that a product I did not want used on my floors (I indicated the appropriate cleaner upon their arrival) was used. The product used does leave a great shine, but I do not want the wax buildup left by the product. I admit the house was not at its cleanest, with a new baby and several recent trips housekeeping had taken a back stage to other activities of life. However, this is the reason I was willing to pay more and to admit this would require more than the routine 2-3 hours for our home. | |I am looking for a regular cleaning service, it is disappointing that I am having such a hard time finding a quality service whose mission is to leave a clean house not leave in the shortest time possible by rapidy achieving minimum efforts.

Description of Work: They did a move out clean. They did a good job on the main levels, but neglected some out of the way spots in the basement. The oven looked like new though, so they definitely worked hard. All in all a good job, we would use them again.
