The company president arrived at my home on time and even called before he arrive just in case there was traffic. (I thought that was very considerate from the start). He was very thorough and helpful with his comments and suggestions on what best fit my needs and wants. I really felt very comfortable talking to him about my vision, I almost felt like he was as excited as I was to see it completed. Ultimately, I did not select House to Home to complete my project due to the higher than expected cost but I would definitely recommend this company. I look forward to possibly completing smaller projects with this company - mainly because of its reputation and its awesome president, Daniel.

Finished a bathroom remodel that I had started a year earlier, but stopped when I ran out of funds. Everything was done on time and looks great!

I had recently remodeling my kitchen and had purchased a new refrigerator. When it was delivered I then realized...oooops! It would not fit through the door to the kitchen. Fortunately there is a four foot high wall around the kitchen. Tony came to my home the very day I called, assessed the situation and arrived at a solution to move an old refrigerator out of the kitchen and move the new one in. My concern was passing over newly installed cabinets and granite without even laying the appliances on the surfaces. Tony fabricated a bridging support that enabled the appliances to slide across the counter top without touching them. He arrived with his crew a few minutes earlier than their scheduled time, set up the supports, took the utmost care in protecting my finishes and ensured that the challenging move went smoothly and with no damage, He then ensured that my refrigerator was properly aligned and leveled. He and his crew were very professional and ensured that the project was completed to my satisfaction. I would highly recommend House to Home Solutions and certainly use them in the future.

We bought a 30+ year old house that needed a lot of work, including updates to 3 bathrooms. We wanted a complete overhaul of the master and guest bathrooms, new cabinet and accessories in one that already had the tile replaced. After making basic design decisions with the help of another Angie's list provider--such as location of the shower, tub, and toilet--I worked with Daniel to come up with the perfect design choices. I am very particular, e.g., about where pipes come in if I have an open cabinet design. Daniel and his site supervisor Tony always explained my options, along with cost implications, so I could make the decisions that were right for us and kept us in our budget. Daniel has excellent relationships with local suppliers (Ferguson, Best Tile, Mosaic Tile, etc.) and in-store designers; this made the coordination of many details and some changes along the way go smoothly without delaying the project. He provided a clear, comprehensive view of the entire project along with a portfolio of selections with color photos. He has an online portal where change orders can be documented that was easy to use, but also supported many back and forth communications by cell phone and email. This includes coordinating arrival time, days that work would be completed, and skipping a day when I needed a break from renovation madness. Every crew member was courteous, careful, and clean. Super polite and nice. They were meticulous about covering furniture, blocking dust, and cleaning up after themselves to minimize the disturbance to my routine. I have allergies and often work at home, so this is very important to me. Most importantly--from ceramic tile to plumbing, electrical, carpentry, finishing wallboard, and painting--every single thing that was done was done well. Truly outstanding craftsmen all around. Very trustworthy. Inspections were handled without delay. I would recommend them for large or small jobs. Along with the big renovation, they hung shelves and racks in my closets and garage, replaced exhaust fans, and painted. I would recommend them for large or small jobs. Overall a great experience.

Overall, Daniel was very professional and provided good advice on my options. He executed the project doing the detail work himself and using subcontractors on some aspects of it. I appreciated his attention to detail and high standards which produced excellent results. I am extremely happy with the workmanship and overall results of the project. Daniel was a pleasure to work with and the project was completed within his estimated cost and timeframe. For more details.... On the countertops, he recommended a granite refinisher that I used to find, finish and install the countertops. In general, they did a good job. However, I would say their standards are not as high as Daniel's. On the island, the cutout for the cooktop was not cut exactly as specified by the manufacturer, which resulted in a tight fit for the telescopic downdraft. They also cut and installed the island counter with the extra overhang on the back rather than on the front, as was discussed and specified by the person who measured. I don't fault Daniel, but offer this as a recommendation to Daniel to consider a different partner for granite. Daniel installed the new faucet and disposer, including replacing some of the original plumbing under the sink. For the backsplash, Daniel gave me a list of tile sources along with his input on the pros and cons of each. The contact person Daniel recommended at the store I decided on was terrific to work with. The people that Daniel arranged to install the tile were excellent! Like Daniel, they were very detail oriented and reviewed the planned install with me to insure I would be happy with placement of pencil tile and how the open ends would be finished. They did it all in one day, the work was well executed and the walls and countertops were immaculate when they were done. In preparation for the tile, Daniel moved, combined and added electrical outlets around the backsplash area. When the tile was up, he then replaced all the outlets. Regarding cabinet work, my cabinets have solid maple facing that is still in very good condition. However, the ends of the cabinets were laminated particle board. Over time, the color of the wood changed, as wood does, and no longer matched the sides. I hated it and wanted them covered with maple to match the front of the cabinets. Daniel meticulously cut maple plywood to fit the sides of 10 cabinets. He also used the maple plywood to cover the underside of the "over the sink" cabinets and mitered decorative molding for the bottom edge of all the cabinets. Using a cabinet door to match the stain and finish, Daniel utilized a very talented furniture refinisher to finish the plywood and molding. When ready, Daniel installed the finished cabinet end pieces and molding. The result was outstanding! The stain color and finish was an excellent match and the fit of the end pieces was so precise, you would never know they had not been made that way. It's one of my favorite things about the whole project. Additionally, installing the cabinet ends on the lower cabinets and island, required replacing the shoe molding. Since we had to do that anyway, Daniel, with his eye for details, recommended replacing the kick plate, which was black, with the remaining maple plywood. It's not something I would have thought about, but the result was a cleaner, more finished look and blends very well with my hardwood floors in the kitchen. A very nice touch. Lastly, I wanted to replace my double wall ovens with a single oven and a built-in microwave. I did a lot of online research and shopping to try to find a combination that met my requirements (features, appearance, good reviews, etc.) AND would consume the same sized opening. It didn't happen. The combined height of the cut-outs needed for two new appliances was about 2 inches short of the existing opening, which would leave about 1 inch of exposed space after installation. Once again, Daniel used his experience and precision to finish and cut a piece of maple that he used to face the shelf he had to install for the microwave. After he installed the ovens, the maple perfectly matched and fit the sides of the cabinets, such that there is 1 inch of maple that separates the two ovens. No one could ever tell it was done to accommodate a problem. Bottom line... thanks to Daniel and his workmanship, my kitchen looks wonderful!

I had contacted other contractors for this problem and their proposals and estimates ranged upward of 20,000.00 (twenty thousand dollars) as they wanted to take out and replace the whole deck and put a separate roof on the room below. Daniel came in and reviewed the situation and told me that he thought that the job could be done by repairing the roof underneath the deck. His people came and did that, they took out part of the deck and reworked the membrane roof underneath specially the flashing which was were most of the water was getting in. Also, they repaired the widown and put in a gutter on the outside to move the water away from that wall. They also re-finished the room which had extensive water damage. Bottom line: for around 3000.00 they fixed a problem that was going to cost me 25,000.00 No leaks since the job was done.

Overall, it went very well. Although the initial wall extended a bit further than we had anticipated, House to Home Solutions was more than understading to our concerns and modified the work per our preferences. The final product was outstanding in quality and aesthetics. The wood trim added to the top of the knee-wall perfectly matched the wood flooring at the top landing. They even matched the wall texture of the knee wall to our existing walls. Highly recommend them and will use them again for future projects.

I was very pleased with House to Home Solutions. Daniel's crew showed up on time, they were meticulous in how they worked, and they were extremely neat. Daniel was in regular contact with me to make sure the project was proceeding well and to answer any questions. The cost was very fair, and overall I was very happy with the job. The HTHS team were professional, timely, and proactive about identifying ways that I could save money on the project. The workmanship was very good, and their approach to each job was innovative. Daniel and/or one of his foremen, Anthony, inspected each phase of each task and were also good about answering questions and discussing options. On the TV room renovation (April 2012 - $25k), they improved my energy efficiency by using a new RAINDROP building wrap underneath new pre-insulated vinyl siding. They also should me that I could save money and have a consistent look around the house by redoing the old attic gable end faces done in the same material at the same time, so we did! The cherry engineered (not laminated) flooring in the TV room looks great and is warmer than the old thing Wall-to-Wall indoor/outdoor carpet that it replaced. One of the challenges on the porch job (Oct 2012 - $11,500) was that the code had changed since the original porch was installed in 1964, so they had to dig out and build and then fill-in new six-foot footers, before they could even build the framing for the new concrete steps. They did a nice job of installing new custom cut six-foot x 1 foot flagstone slab step treads and step risers going up the porch. Water no longer pools on each step as was the case previously, thus improving its safety in the winter. They also designed the railing system so that I only need to replace to two 4-foot end posts with two 10-foot end posts when I get them to install a portico roof over the new porch. The porch and the railing system are designed to support the later roofing project.

The results were wonderful! I love my new home. My new home is just beautiful! I really look forward to being in my home in the evenings. Daniel and Tony (both of House to Home Solutions), his assistant, really took good care of me! I had a severe mold problem in my home because my home is an old building that does not have air vents. To remove the mold, Daniel and Tony, of House to Home Solutions, installed a new cement and installed a new hardwood floor throughout my house. Additionally, Daniel and Tony removed my wall-to-wall carpeting from my home and it is easier for me to breathe (e.g., I do not need as many antihistaimes as I used to take in order to get through the day). House to Home Solutions also installed a dehumidifer to remove water from my home. Daniel and Tony painted the walls of my home with a pale blue color, the ceiling is white and Daniel and Tony installed new doors with hinges. I had accumulated alot of paper over the years and Danile and Tony provided me with a paper shredder that I subsequently used. Daniel and Tony also installed a closet organizer in my bedroom closet in order to give me more room to store things.

I was very pleased with the work. I had gotten estimates from several companies, but I chose House to Home because (1) their rates were the most reasonable and (2) Mr. Carrero was so committed to the details of the job from the start. He asked for some pictures to get better idea of the work to be done, which I sent, and he explained to me how the work would go and whether he or I should provide materials. Tony (field supervisor, who did the work) called beforehand to confirm what materials were need. He showed up on time and worked efficiently through the entire day. At one point, he was joined by Mr. Carrero, and the two of them repaired the hard-to-access plumbing pipes. (No idea how they accomplished this; I thought it would be impossible.) Really nice guys, very pleasant, very willing to share home maintenance tips. I plan to use them for everything house-related in the future.

When we told the owner we could not spend that much we were told you get what you pay for in work and materials! That was not a satisfactory answer to us.

The entire process went smoothly and quickly. Daniel also let my husband observe the process, since he is trying to learn the skill as well. The price was fair and scheduling was easy.

Daniel Carrero met with me initially. He was very courteous and professional. He showed up right on time as did his installers, who were also courteous and professional. His proposal turn around time was fast. They did a beautiful job. We are very pleased!

Daniel and Nelson are very professional, honest and hard working. They arrived on time and immediately got busy with the jobs at hand. They are both personable and perfectionists at whatever job they are doing. Their cost is competitive with the other "handymen" I spoke to. I would definitely ask them to do all of my handyman jobs.

I hired House to Home Solutions to repair the bay window in my small condo, which suffered water damage from poor caulking by another contractor. Daniel responded quickly to set up a visit and arrived promptly at the time we agreed. He was clear about their hourly rate and (in this case) the uncertainty of the project estimate because of the difficulty of investigating water leaks. Even though it might mean less work, I liked that Daniel suggested I first contact the original contractor of the bay window to see if they would cover the repairs under warranty (sadly they did not). I was pleased with the work done by House to Home. I will note that 1 or 2 days before the scheduled repair date, H2H called to reschedule due to rainy weather that had delayed a previous job. The delay wasn't a problem in my case, and the workers arrived on time on the new date. They were easy to communicate with and did a good job of keeping the work area clean by laying down drop cloths and tidying up afterwards. I was not present for the work but was satisfied with the end product and the cost. The workers accidentally broke one of the wands for my blinds during the repairs, but they mentioned it without my asking and H2H offset the bill to cover replacement. Take note that H2H charges a 3% fee for paying by credit card. It was mentioned in the fine print on the final statement but I unfortunately overlooked it. H2H should consider emphasizing the fee so there's less chance of surprise.

Renovation went fantastic. I can't say enough about how great it was working with House to Home Solutions to give us the bathroom of our dreams. They helped us stay within our budget and find items that looked great at an affordable price. The reno team worked really hard and they finished the bathroom ahead of schedule. We will certainly be using House to Home Solutions in the future. House to Home Solutions also has a great vendors to recommend for other projects. For example, they recommended a vendor to to replace old windows.

Working with Daniel and the House to Home team was great. I reached out to him early last week and had an appointment scheduled around my timing the next week. I had recently acquired a new ceiling fan and needed to replace a broken one as well as some other projects that needed to be done. Daniel and his team were extremely professional and stopped to asked questions or note issues that might arise during the process. While working to install the new sink, Daniel noticed that the shut off valves for one of the taps needed to be replaced and offered to make the change. After trying to carefully keep the sink trap from the old sink top, he noted that he was shocked it hasn't started to leak yet. He suggested that I replace the faucet and provided suggestion. I quickly ran out to Home Depot to replace the sink while his team was still there. After the new faucet was installed on the bowl I had left over from some other projects, he noted a long hairline crack in the sink that we had not seen previously. He was able to suggest that a replacement sink and pedestal combo wouldn't be too expensive and after a quick search on Home Depot's website, I was able to find one. Daniel offered to go to also get the necessary supplies in case the new trap needed to be shorted etc... The sink ended up becoming a bigger project than I expected but in the end the entire sink, including the pipes and the shut off valve were replaced. While shutting off the water, he noticed that some insulation was damp around the valve and made a quick assessment of the fix for it (hopefully preventing future problems down the road). The biggest "issue" was with patching the ceiling around a light fixture that I had installed. It had seemed like a straight forward job but as they were finishing the work, the patch broke. Sadly, at that point (after two layers of mud and sanding and painting), Daniel came up with the cheap and easiest solution (a medallion). The $10 fix from Home Depot would have taken about 30 minutes to install but I certainly appreciated the effort in the mudding to make the ceiling hopefully seamless. They wanted to ensure that the project was completed so (off the clock) went to Home Depot, got the medallion and installed it. They were courteous and polite. Didn't mind my dog wandering around their various projects and cleaned up after they were done to ensure there was nothing left on the job.

They are wonderful. They are punctual, considerate, professional, and they do things in a very dedicated way. They don't jump in and do it, they give you options.

Daniel has done work in my home twice now. And I am very happy with his service. He is always on time, very professional. I am going to have him do more work and recommend him to friends. His pricing is very resonable. He is a very honest person

We found the price to be to high.

It's been a great experience working with house 2 home solutions. Great professionals, very formal and punctual. Very detailed proposal so there is no room for misunderstandings. The job took less time than initially anticipated and we got a credit without requesting it. We are very happy with their work and would recommend them with our eyes closed.

Reasonably priced and the owner brought another worker with him to help with a heavy lifting project. They tackled a hit list and did an excellent, skilled job at everything, with close attention to detail. They worked quickly and cleaned up very well, too. They noticed some additional areas that needed caulking and did these. I've asked for estimates for new tile floor, wall repair, wood floor refinishing, and deck work. I will definitely consider using them for the larger jobs and certainly for handyman services. No negatives at all and definitely recommend them.
