GRIMMETT CONTRACTING

I would highly recommend Grimmett Contracting for any project. Dexter's work is exceptional and he's incredibly honest. It's refreshing to have finally found someone we can trust. We've hired him for jobs both small and large and he always provides quality work. He's helped us tremendously in fixing work we've had done by less reputable contractors.

We have nothing but great feedback for this company. From the time we contacted Grimmett Contracting to the time the project was finished, a whole week hadn't even passed by. We were unable to be home for portions of the time that Dexter was in the house but felt very comfortable leaving the keys in his hands (which speaks volumes for anyone who knows me- I don't trust anyone!). We were very impressed with the timeliness and professionalism of the company and are extremely happy with the work that was completed in our living room; you can't see any lines or any other indication that the area was patched. We highly recommend Dexter & Grimmett Contracting to anyone looking for local, quality work done to their home! In fact, we have already hired them again to come back to replace the floors in our home!

Both projects (bathroom remodel and later a shed replacement) went well. Grimmett Contracting isn't the least expensive contractor, but the work is EXCELLENT. For example, when the City Inspector came to review the new shed, he said it was a real pleasure to see something that well made and exceeding code standards, and I can attest the bathroom work was just as good (not to mention I love my bathroom!). Working with Mr. Grimmett can be a little challenging if you're not a visual person, but he will answer questions until you understand what is envisioned. (Also, be prepared for him to argue if what you "think" you want won't work or won't meet code restrictions.) He uses top-grade materials and works in a timely, professional manner. (Unlike some, he doesn't leave your house a wreck while he works which was critical to me while he redid my master bathroom.) Most important to me is that I trust his character; I do not hesitate giving him keys to my house, and I am NOT someone who generally leaves contractors/repair personnel alone in my home. Perhaps equally as important, I trust him with my dog, Libby; contractors often need to go in/out of your home as they work, so having someone you can trust not to let your pet out inadvertently is important! And he will go that extra mile for his client. When remodeling my bathroom, the vanity I wanted was only available about 90 minutes drive away with no delivery possible, so Mr. Grimmett picked it up! I have a small project coming up (another bathroom!), and Grimmett Contracting is the only contractor I'll contact.
