Carlos and his team checked the safety of my chimney and installed a new damper. They also repaired a crack in my chimney. They were very professional and very prompt. They went above and beyond what I asked for. I felt very taken care of with this company. They were available if I had any questions and were always kind and professional. I would recommend them to anyone looking for chimney repair or chimney advice.

We found Aragon to be a fine service provider, and we'd use them again without question. We knew our chimney had some cracks and had not been checked for awhile. We had three companies come to inspect/give estimates, and each had a different approach and price (about $5700, 3400 (Aragon), and 1900). We chose Aragon, because they checked thoroughly including the rooftop view with photos, and they recommended only what seemed necessary for safety and commonsense maintenance. They specifically recommended against cleaning, because it wasn't needed. The highest price company took a complete redo approach, which seemed like overkill when we don't use the fireplace very much. The lowest price didn't even go on the roof and didn't mention the safety issue with the furnace/hot water flue. Carlos and his staff were friendly, considerate, and professional. Their service was timely, and when the job took a bit longer than anticipated they came back the next day to finish - rare in our experience among contractors of any sort. We got good discounts for the Angie's list association with no run-around. They had overlooked one aspect of the job in estimating (repairing cracks inside the chimney pit), and they did it for free. Bravo all around.

We had been experiencing leaks in the firebox of the fireplace whenever it rained so we needed to figure out what the problem was. This was a fantastic experience from beginning to end. When I submitted the request for an inspection/estimate on-line, Sonia, the owner's wife contacted me within minutes to schedule the visit and was able to give me a time slot that worked for me within days of the request. Carlos, the owner, arrived exactly when promised and indicated that he would be doing the inspection, estimate himself and, if I wanted work done, he would be the one doing and would be working with his employees hand-in-hand on the job. This impressed me since it was his reputation that being protected. Each time before entering the house, Carlos put protective booties on so that he would track in any dirt. He did a through inspection of the fireplace, damper and interior and exterior of the chimney. He took and showed me pictures of everything he found which I appreciated. He provided me with several options to effect repairs to re-mediate the leaking. We had previously had another company come out a provide a similar estimate and the list of suggested repair work was significantly longer and more costly than what Carlos explained. When I asked him about that, we was able to clearly explain why the other work wasn't really necessary. Carlos indicated and showed me the photos of the brick work that I needed to have repaired and how he would effect the repairs. He explained that the chimney opening was larger than a standard opening and that was a contributing factor the leakage and provided several varying cost options to address this aspect - we decided to have a full-sealing damper and cap put on so that we completely close off the chimney from the elements when not using the fireplace. I agreed to the repair work and cleaning and set up a time for Carlos to come back to do the work. We had to reschedule on the appointed day due to rain and heavy winds which precluded work on the roof but Carlos was very accommodating with my schedule to pick the next possible closet date that worked for me. Again, he showed exactly on schedule. Prior to beginning the repairs, he did a thorough cleaning of the chimney and took every precaution to keep the interior of the house as clean as possible. When the cleaning was done, he and his coworker began the repairs. Once the repairs were done, he applied a waterproofing coat to the entire chimney. After he was done, he and his coworker cleaned up everything completely. He indicated that he would back in a few days to apply an additional coating of waterproofing and he sowed up exactly when he said he would. All the work that Carlos performed came to less than half the estimated cost from the other company and the warranties provided on the work were great. Carlos was great to work with and I would definitely recommend to anyone that needs any work done on the chimney or fireplace. He is attentive, professional, listens to the homeowner, is open and honest in his assessment. We will surely be calling on Carlos for other work in the future.

Unless you happen to be familiar with chimneys, you really don't know if the chimney repair is fixed until it leaks again. Carlos found the problem, explained in detail what needed to be done, completed the work in one afternoon. I have not had any leaks since the repair.

Quiet and professional pair completed the job in the estimated timeframe. They kept everything clean during the process.

Company showed up on time, did evaluation of chimney and if it needed to be cleaned (we already knew it did which is why they were there). Did not try to up sell us any bogus add on products. Did a good job, cleaned up after themselves. No issues/complaints at all.

Initially, I was referred to Aargon Services by my real estate agent. The owner Carlos Aragon was very professional, neat, and accommodating, as well as his technicians. Most importantly, he was able to work within my budgetary constraints. I contracted Aargon to clean and paint my home for resale. In addition, Carlos did an excellent job of installing a new tile floor in the powder room and completed the work within the agreed project timeline. I intend to contract them for the repair of my fireplace chimney and highly recommend this contractor.
