Description of Work: My hot water heater leaked all over my basement, so I needed a new one. I had never used Ken Griffin plumbing before, but they sent someone the next day (other people I contacted said it would be days). The plumber who came was on time, polite, and friendly. He explained everything to me. He took the time to put down plastic over the carpet and steps to protect them. The whole process was fast and efficient.

Description of Work: Replaced toilet shutoff valve, replaced fill valve, and supply line. Description of Work: Unclogged garbage disposal and fixed running toilet. First plumber came out and fixed garbage disposal perfectly, but within a week the toilet was starting to continuously run again. When I contacted the company again, they immediately sent another plumber out who fixed the toilet. I think he replaced the flapper, but whatever he did took less than 5 minutes. Everything's been working just fine ever since and I'd definitely call them again for any future plumbing problems. The workers were prompt, professional, and very friendly.

Description of Work: I had the inside of my toilet tank replaced. Everything went smoothly. Keith taught me that the bleach tablets corrode the parts inside and shouldn't be used. I have used Ken Griffin before and will continue to use them. Keith was very pleasant and professional.

Description of Work: We decided to update our original toilets with new models that used less water and more efficient. Also, one may have been leaking and causing floor damage. The floor in the powder room did not appear to have any damage and instead of new vinyl we had them install ceramic tiles which purchased in advance. I did find out that if you want a color other than white - such as bone, expect to add about $100 dollars to the price of the toilet. The powder room floor looked great when they finished. We had also used them when we refinished our basement about 10 years back and liked them at that time another job when we had our water line replaced. They do good work, for a decent price. I would recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat for plumbing needs and minor renovations.

Description of Work: I called and requested a quote for installing an "instant on" hot water heater for our residence. The company responded well and scheduled a site visit, for which they showed up on time and were very professional. Unfortunately it went downhill from there. They promised to provide a quote, but despite repeated calls from me over a period of months they never provided such. Nor did they provide any explanation why they apparently chose to decline to offer a quote. This left me hanging.

Description of Work: The valve on a leaky outdoor faucet needed a replacement. The work was done quickly and came in $100 less than the phone estimate. The serviceman was friendly and knowledgeable.

Description of Work: Diagnosed the reason for the leak through the basement ceiling--caused by letting the old defective faucet drip in the kitchen. After we purchased a new faucet, they came back to install it...no problems whatsoever. Courteous and knowledgeable. Will call again for any future problems.

Description of Work: Everyone else I called tried to upsell the job, using excuses like code compliance. I checked. This work, since it was a repair to a grandfathered system, did not be to be replaced. All I asked for was a repair and KG did that, at 1/3 the cost of everyone else. Keith was professional, knowledgeable, and fast. Very pleased with their work.

Description of Work: On original service call they installed a new single handle shower faucet which required some minor pipe alignment. Subsequently,the plumbing pipes behind the wall located near the faucet unit began to leak. I called them once again. I was told the leak was because the pipes were very old. Had to cut a hole in downstairs neighbor,s bathroom ceiling to get to the pipes. Obviously, the pipes were disturbed during the first visit. However, since the pipes are very old it is possible this was unavoidable. |Was charged for both service calls.

Description of Work: Ken Griffin made measurements for bathroom remodeling on 9 September 2013, at which time we were told that they would contact us to give us the estimate for approval. After hearing nothing from the company for about 6 weeks, my wife called them about the estimate. Mr. Griffith was very irritated at her call and implied that the person doing the proposal would get to it when she could. We haven't heard anything from the company since then. If the job was too small for them, or they didn't want to do it for another reason, they should have told us that instead of keeping us hanging on for more than a month.

Description of Work: Great service all-around; office was great working to identify a good appointment slot, and the lead plumber for the appt, Brian, was very friendly and professional. He answered all of my questions and identified and replaced a "Harry Homeowner" DIY fitting left behind by the previous owner. Work included replacement/installation of fittings and hose for a natural gas grill and cleaning/clearing of a bathroom sink.

Description of Work: I saw some water dripping from my water heater night before my move out of my house. They came the very next morning while the movers were packing me. They diagnosed the problem and rectified the situation. Excellent experience especially on a moving day!!

Description of Work: New water system softener etc. repairs and replacement of hot water heater. Service was good always respectful of your home and good communication. Very overpriced not real happy with the new hot water heater the old one worked better was 6years old and we were left with no choice but to replace, builder, Jim Selfridge, skimped on the infrastructure of our home and we paid the price down the road.
