We don't fix electrical light fixtures or have an electrician working for us. We were not at your home on 9/26/2016. The only work we completed in 2016 was to furnish and install gas piping for a fireplace insert. If this was posted in error, we would hope that you would take a minute and remove it. Description of Work: this had been my go to plubmer, their prices were good but stuff did not get completely fixed, the last three visits were a mess. I contacted them and was told to gather together info on what was not fixed and I spent a lot of time doing just that, sent an email, pix, video. the owner's wife used my report to go item by item on why they would not come fix these things (waste of my time!) she sent me a long email explaining they had done good work in the past and had been "good to me" and she told me it was a "teachable moment". I guess if the majority of the visits they fix stuff than the times they drop the ball you should not care. I would describe them as inconsistent. I have a new go to plumbing company off angie's list, they are awesome.

Description of Work: Both plumbers that came out from Ken Griffin Plumbing were on time and performed the work efficiently. During the first visit, he called the manufacturer to get parts for two toilets that were under recall and still under warranty, and had them shipped to me so I could get them for free. When I received the parts, the second visit was scheduled quickly. Overall, I was very happy with the quality of the work.

THE PLUMBER BURST A PIPE IN DOING HIS WORK, AND THE COMPANY NOT ONLY CHARGED US FOR THE ORIGINAL WORK BUT FOR THE REPAIR AS WELL. LOUSY CUSTOMER SERVICE TOO. THE MANAGER WAS RUDE AND HOSTILE WHEN I CALLED ABOUT IT.

Some customers believe that a manager is rude or hostile when they very calmly but firmly respond to their questions, concerns, and comments with responses that they don't want to "hear." This is just what happened with this member. We were called out to repair a leak under the kitchen sink and to unstop the hall bathtub and bathroom sink. She wasn't at home but her son was the morning we arrived. Once the kitchen sink and bathroom sink were taken care of, our plumber used a plunger to clear the bathtub drain. Using a plunger is the first step in clearing a drain that runs slowly. Afterwords, he ran water in the tub and noticed that it drained well. Later that day, her son noticed that there was water on the linoleum floor, carpet, and paneling in the area below the bathroom. We returned to the house and opened up the drywall to expose the plumbing behind the wall and under the tub. We determined that the bathtub trap had corroded over the years and broke through with the added pressure that occurred during plunging. We replaced the bathtub trap. She did not pay for us to replace the tub trap because she thought we caused the damage, despite the fact that she could see the old and brittle pipe once it was replaced. I could understand her dismay if a pipe that was structurally sound was cut, punctured, or otherwise carelessly compromised. This was clearly not the case. We do regret that pipes and plumbing fixtures do not last indefinitely, despite our best efforts.
