I don't know if our water has changed over time, which is possible, or if our original plumber just wanted to sell us an expensive conditioning system. We've talked to another neighbor since then and she had a similar experience. We appreciated the technician's honesty and we will use the company again. We've since stopped using the conditioning system, which also saves us the expense of buying salt.

I asked for someone to come to house to give me a price. They said that they would give the price over the phone - $950. When plumber arrived, he saw that existing heater had a combustion fan and consulted his price list and found needed a different heater. Price jumped to $1500. In retrospect, had price been this high over the phone, I probably would have compared services. There was a minor installation issue but the company came out and resolved this fairly quickly.

We were able to get an apointment in a reasonable amount of time. The plumber was on time and did the job correctly the first time. The plumber was neat, polite, and communicative. He also took a look and cleaned a slow drain that we requested he look at even though it was not within the scope of the call.

They came within a day in the evening after their regular shifts were over. They checked the sewer lines with the camera and said everything was perfectly fine. The other company was simply praying on our ignorance and wanted to scam us. They were very pleasant and honest. They would not even charge anything since they claimed they did not do any real work. I was happy to see there are still so honest people and employees out there. Would recommend them in a heartbeat.

Their service was timely. Their price was the lowest of the bids we received. The work was done well (to my knowledge). They were polite and clean. It was a pleasant experience.

I was using him regularly as my plumber. I think he's the best plumber around. I went to him because they said they offer design work for redoing kitchens. I went to them for that and they were the most unreliable company I've ever dealt with. I called them in the spring and made a trip to their showroom. The person who was supposed to be working on the design came out and totally forgot about it. When I called them back they had totally forgotten about me and asked me to drive down again to their showroom so that they could start again. I told them since I've already been there I needed someone to come out here but they never called us back nor returned any phone calls. The plumber himself is excellent; he's the best plumber I've dealt with. It's been about three or four months I last used him. His service and the people who come out are all top notch professionals. I've had nothing but tremendous service from them. Every time they've come out they know exactly what they are doing. They go straight to the problem, fix it and they are out of the house. Everything is done very professionally. I don't use anybody else once I start using them and I've never been disappointed.

I had used Ken Griffin plumbing for all my plumbing work, including a remodel of my master bath several years ago, so I called them to finish off my basement bathroom. They had installed the rough-in plumbing some months ago (separate report), and that work was excellent. This time, they installed the floor tile and shower wall tile, along with the bath fixtures (toilet, shower head/valves, sink) and vanity cabinet. I was a little less impressed with their workmanship this time around, which suprised me quite a bit. The workmen installing the tile had to redo their work twice in the shower area because 1) they forgot to apply the moisture barrier before laying the tile, and 2) they didn't line the tile up correctly to the outside corner near the shower stall. The owner was very apologetic and acted quickly (both times) to correct the issues. Fortunately, I was around while they were doing this work, because I'm not so sure the mistakes woiuld have been caught in time otherwise. Some time after the job was done, I began to notice that whoever wpread the grout wasn't very careful, because I kept finding small lumps and rough patches of grout on some of the tiles and the adjoining sheetrock as I was preparing to paint the walls. Overall, I'm not all that sure that I would use them again for this kind of work, I will probably just stick to traditional plumbing tasks with this company.

It went well - by routing the collapsed drain, it gave us time to find someone to replace the drain line. We did not have to treat it like an emergency situation. Very pleased.

They are terrific and get straight A's. They have been our plumber for many years and are very honest and professional. I thought I might need a new water treatment system but they told me I didn't need one so I appreciate their honesty. I will use them again in the future.

They came when they said they would and did the job that they agreed to do for the price that they quoted originally.

His estimate was a little bit high. I wasn’t real pleased because the guy wouldn’t put on the new drain for the new faucet. I had to tell him. The price for putting the faucet was fine.

plumber did an excellent job of installing a new toilet and fixing leaking faucets etc. the bill was much less than I would have expected. He cleaned up the job site very well in removing the old toilet

I have used Ken Griffen Plumbing for all of my plumbing needs since moving into the area and have had nothing but excellent experiences. The crew came on time on all days, completed the project on time, and kept my home as clean as can be expected during the project with all supplies or tools neatly put away or removed. I was promised a functioning toilet every night and that was true. Any concerns I had during the project were addressed quickly by the guys each day. I am extremely happy with the results of the job. The whole project took about a week. It took a little while to get an estimate, but they are a small company and provided a highly detailed list of what would be done and each part priced separately. The final estimate was inclusive of all materials and the selected tile, grout, new toilet etc.... They have a wonderful supply of samples at their offices to choose from and Kathy was great in helping select the tile for my project and pricing the various samples I looked at and keeping it in my budget. Any questions on the contract were quickly answered. KGP was also great because they were willing to do this partial remodel, where as some others I had contacted were only willing to do full remodels or would not be able to commence work for months, work was started only 2 weeks after signing the contract. I will use KGP when the next steps in my renovation happens.

I have used Ken Griffin plumbing for other jobs. I called and they scheduled me for an appointment for the next day. However, they called back the same day and said they could have someone come out in an hour. The plumber arrived on time and went straight to work. The garage disposal was apparently installed incorrectly, but the plumber was able still able to get the job done in little over an hour. Great job.

My kitchen drain had been draining slowly and smelled bad, and this morning it was totally stopped up. (We have had this problem before, because it is such a long way from the kitchen drain to the main drain, and the pipes are not sloped sufficiently.) I called Ken Griffin Plumbing because they are considered "the best plumber in Howard County." I was given an appointment in about two hours' time, and the serviceman came within the 2-hour window they gave me. He thoroughly snaked my kitchen drain. He also went up on the roof to check the vent pipe to see if that was responsible for the smell. He was very nice and very professional. He was here about an hour and a half, so I thought the price was fair. I was happy to have someone able to come so promptly. I would definitely use this company again.

Rapid response to phone call. Prompt arrival as scheduled. Professional service.

They do good work. They get somebody out for you when you call for an emergency. They are punctual. However, I had asked them for an estimate on something and they haven’t got back to me on that yet.

They had the best estimate by far and even worked with me to keep price reasonable. They gave very helpful design ideas and the bathroom looks great. The workmen were very professional and the work was very high quality. I received constant updates on the work being done. Quality workmanship, fair price and professional attitude - What else could you ask for.

Arrived on time, put on booties in the house, explained everything.

They got the job done. Some things they found led to what I am going to do soon.

Excellent service. Plumber had to search for replacement washers for our outdated fixtures, which he was kind enough to do.

It was excellent. Their price and workmanship are superb. I can't rate them highly enough.

I called and needed them to fix the sump pump. They were able to work me in the next day after I called. They actually called after we hung up and was able to come out right away. They told me exactly what was wrong and then fixed it. I did not have to worry about watching them fix the problem. The service from the front desk to the tech that came out was very good. They were excellent.

They came out the same day I called and repaired the leak. They then scheduled a time to come back out to do the drywall patch and paint. Overall it was great. The drywall repair and painting cost a little more than I anticipated but the result was awesome! I would definitely use these guys again.

We've used them before and they are always quite professional. We were very happy with their first service.
