Service man was profession and very nice. The new pipes, and hose bib are of a much better quality than the builder had used, which is probaby why we now needed the repair.

It was a long job. He spent most of the day from morning to afternoon to get the job done. The price was acceptable. For the service we got, it was excellent! They were very helpful. We had a wonderful experience with him and we are going to continue to use his services.

Technician came at appointed time, repairs were completed in one visit and area was cleaned by the technician.

Excellent. They were one time. Professional. They stood up to their good rating.

Overall, the experience was excellent. They got back to me very quickly; I called them on a Saturday morning and they were able to schedule me in Monday afternoon. Their price was very good compared with others that I had gotten. Everything went well!

Overall, I liked that he was an older, experienced plumber with a brand new apprentice. He was teaching the apprentice but he was very willing to have me hang out to see what he was doing and talk to me and make recommendations about plumbing stuff. I picked them because they were highly rated from our local quarterly county magazine, and I can understand people being pleased with them. They were prompt, pleasant and helpful, and got the job done. I haven't had a plumber in about 15 years, so I don't know what the going rates are.

Called after hours and after explaining the issues, Bryan advised this was not gave us advice on how to shut off the pump until he could come out the next day, so we saved on the overtime rates. He came out the next day and spent a few hours digging into the ground to locate a broken pipe/plastic connector and replaced it with a stainless steel version. Bryan took the time to show me how to shut off the pump completely and also restart it if there are future issues. He also gave us a very complete estimate of possible costs and it ended up costing less than half what we expected to pay. Water system was up and running again in under 25 hours. Ken Griffin's men always come dressed in khakis and golf shirts, are highly professional and courteous and very thorough in the work they do and the estimates they provide. We only call Ken Griffin for plumbing work.

They were prompt, professional, and came early in the morning before we had to leave for work. We were very happy with their sevice.

They did a great job. The price ended up being about $100 over the estimate. I plan to use them again if I ever have any issues.

After a severe sewage back up in my basement I hired Ken Griffin plumbing after finding them on Angie's List. The initial visit was to stop the back up in the system. The gentlemen that came out were responsive and polite in handling all of my questions. One of the specific question that I had was about roots in the line. A few months earlier we had another plumbing company (that we hired through our home warranty) come to fix a similar (but much smaller) back up. They had stated that the reason that back up had occurred was due to roots in the line (thus voiding the coverage through the home warranty). The individuals from Ken Griffin plumbing stated that they did not believe that their were roots in the line, and recommended camera scoping the pipes in order to be sure. When they returned to camera the line, they confirmed that their were no roots in the line and was able to a**** that the back water valve had been damaged / broken (more than likely by the previous plumbing company). In order to fix the issue, the whole back water valve had to be replaced (which meant a giant hole in the floor of the storage room). While they were replacing the back water valve they also replaced some piping that was causing an issue with how the water emptied into the main county sewage line. Throughout this process all of the individuals that came were prompt, work cleanly and explained all that they were doing. In addition, due to the information that the camera scoping was able to provide, I was able to receive partial payment from my home warranty company. To help me with the investigation through my home warranty, Ken Griffin was kind enough to write up a summary of his findings as well as all of the work that his company preformed, which in my mind is going above and beyond!

This is the third time I've used Ken Griffin Plumbing directly. Several sections of my house were remodeled by Ken Griffin Plumbing before I purchased it, including the kitchen and master bath. All of my experiences have been excellent. Kathy was able to quickly schedule an appointment to have my water pressure problem looked at. Bob could not have been more professional or courteous -- he knew his stuff, worked efficiently, and was very friendly, answering many other questions I had related to my house. I could not have asked for a better experience. I would not hesitate to use Ken Griffin Plumbing again in the future; in fact, I hope to work with them sometime in the next year to remodel my laundry room.

The plumbing crew showed up on time and we were quite happy with the duration, professionalism, and price for the plumbing replacement. The work was completed and inspected within the time frame estimated by Ken Griffin Plumbing, and the house was kept tidy. The price was lower than several other estimates and the reputation was excellent, so overall we were quite satisfied with the pipe replacement performed by Ken Griffin. However, we were very disappointed with the drywall replacement. During the estimate visit by the owner, Ken Griffin, he assured us that the drywall installer was excellent and the complete product would appear as though the drywall was never replaced. The cost was $2500 for approximately 40 square feet of drywall replacement, which seemed very high but we were not comfortable replacing it ourselves. Unfortunately, we did have Ken Griffin replace the drywall after the pipe replacement was complete. The work was poor at best, and Ken Griffin came out a second time to attempt to repair some of the drywall work that was unsatisfactorily installed. After he had left and the drywall mud had dried, we were still very unhappy with the result but decided that it wasn't worth the trouble to have them try a third time to get it right only to fail again. My wife and I have now put in at least two dozen hours over the last 6 months to attempt to blend the new dry wall in, but it still shows in many areas after painting. Considering we paid $2500 for very sloppy work, we will never consider Ken Griffin Plumbing again in the future. In addition, it was a very frustrating experience to even hire Ken Griffin. During the estimate/contracting process, I would not receive phone calls back from the company when I tried to discuss the contract. I finally told the owner's wife (?), Kathy, that I would take my business elsewhere if I did not receive better customer service. It almost seemed as though they did not want our business. It took about a week of waiting to hear back, then calling to say I hadn't been called back, only to be told to wait for a callback again, over and over again, before we finally worked it out. Overall, our experience with Ken Griffin was disappointing and I don't think I would hire them again or recommend them to anyone else. While the plumbing work was done well and we felt we got good value for this work, the drywall work was awful and very overpriced for what we got. The frustrating customer service experience sealed the deal.

We had Ken Griffin Plumbing renovate two bathrooms for us this past year after they did such a great job on one a couple years ago. The 25000 noted here was for the two this year. There is no extra cost for design advice and ordering. We sat down with Kathy Griffin in her office / showroom where we could see model showers, tile, fixtures, and cabinets. We talked about styles and colors. We could see at a glance what went together, what we liked and didn't like. She ordered what we eventually decided we wanted. This was huge. We had previously gotten estimates from other plumbers / renovators who told us we would have to go out and get the shower tile, floor tile, cabinets, mirrors and fixtures that we wanted them to install. We had gone to a tile place and were overwhelmed by the skillions of possibilities. Ditto with a cabinet place and with fixtures. Not having tiles with us in the cabinet place made it impossible for us to imagine what went together. I don't think we could have proceeded without Kathy's advice and the set up in her office / showroom. The renovations were done very well and in a timely manner. They have different people who specialize in plumbing, tile, painting, and wallboard. The bathrooms are beautiful. It was a good experience. After our first renovation, we started calling on them for other plumbing problems and have been pleased with their promptness and quality of work.

The sink in the master bathroom was draining slowly, had been for months. Drain cleaner didn't help much, so we finally called Ken Griffin Plumbing. The receptionist was polite and helpful, and was able to schedule an appointment the next day. The day of the appointment, she called and asked if it would be okay to send the plumber early--in about 20 minutes? I said sure. The plumber, Sean, arrived promptly. He was courteous, professional and didn't seem to mind my looking over his shoulder. He was also careful not to make a mess, and to clean up after himself. And, when I added tasks that weren't on the original call, he was happy to help. It didn't take him long to snake the master bath sink drain, even though he had to take the trap apart to get to the second clog, so I asked him if he wouldn't mind taking a look at the master bathroom tub drain, as it was occasionally slow. When he uncovered it, he discovered that the cross piece was starting to disintigrate (he showed me), and asked if I would like him to replace it and the overflow plate--he had the parts in his truck. I agreed, and once again, it didn't take him long to replace them. He also told me that the next time the tub was draining slowly, I could check the cross piece, which tended to collect hair. I had another concern, and asked him to look behind the access panel at the tub pipes, to make sure nothing was leaking (the tub faucet and handle hadn't been caulked.) He did so, and found no signs of any problems. I asked him to caulk the faucet, and it took him about 5 minutes to do so. When he was finished, he asked me if there was anything else I needed help with, (I declined, with thanks.) I was also pleasantly surprised by the bill--it was a lot lower than I'd expected. All-in-all, I was very pleased with the work. Sean obviously takes pride in his work.

I have used this company before, after a recommendation from a coworker. They schedule appointments within a very reasonable time, work with you on the time, arrive promptly, and perform the work professionally. I was very satisfied with the pricing and all of the workers that have come to the house have behaved professionally.

The office called to advise when the technician was on his way. The technician arrived as scheduled and completed the work.

We realized the previous day that water was continuously draining into a pipe that drains into our sum pump. We had no idea what was causing this problem. We shut off the water into the house to see identify the problem, but still couldn't figure it out. We called Ken Griffin Plumbing the next morning and they scheduled us for someone to come out between 2pm and 4pm. Well, the plumber actually showed up around 1:45pm. He looked at the troubled area and quickly determined that it was the expansion tank. He took down the size of our water heater and additional information, then went to their local plumbing supply to get a new tank. The old tank was screwed on extremely tight, but he was able to unscrew it and easily installed the new one. The plumber made sure to install the right size tank given the size of our water heater because the old expansion tank was too small. He explained everything about the problem and the remedy to us. He was outstanding and very professional.

They were real good and the guy came dressed up, not like a regular plumber. When other plumbing companies come out, they come in t-shirts and old pants, but I don’t know if this guy had a tie on but he was certainly dressed. He wore nice pants and looked like a professional guy. He did a nice job and did what he had to do. In fact, we had a little issue over the money. I had a second pump installed, a backup pump, and I had called the day before and spoken to Ken Griffin. The reason I had called then was because they were not listed on Better Business Bureau, and yet the people in this area say that this guy is the best and they like him. I called him and he quoted me a price of $700; so I knew that the price was going to be in that ballpark. When the plumber came, he said the price was $750 and I told him that Ken Griffin told me it would be $700. He called Ken Griffin up and confirmed that the price is $700. He did a really nice job and left it neat and tidy. He was fine and I would absolutely go back to him again. I asked Ken Griffin why he wasn’t on the Better Business Bureau and he said that it costs too much.

I had a good experience with them. They were prompt. They were reasonable. The job wasn't big although. It was one of those open-ended things.

I called Ken Griffin on 11/8 to come out and provide an estimate for a 5x6 bathroom remodel. Mr. Griffin was very prompt for the estimate appointment. I waited for a couple of days, which turned into weeks and after several phone calls to Ken Griffin to provide me with an estimate - i gave up. I was very disappointed with the lack of customer service.

The experience went very well. They came out very quickly and gave a quote right away. I just poured on that project right now. They were very polite on the phone and came very quick and efficient. Their price was probably too high for what I needed but their service was good.

He was delayed 30 minutes due to a prior job, but someone from the office called to let us know. When Terrell arrived, I explained the problem. He looked at the floor below from the basement, then performed the repairs promptly. He took care to put down plastic to keep the floors clean, and cleaned up afterwards before presenting the bill. The job was done in just under an hour. No problems!

Came very shortly after I called. This drain clogs periodically. Bob actually went down to my basement to see how far the pipes run inside the house. He told me it was a particularly long distance, which it is. He listened to make sure his machine was going the entire distance. He explained that with such a long pipe distance, it is especially important to run water for a while after using the disposal to make sure the ground matter is flushed out through our entire pipe length. I really appreciated his insight.
