We paid a solid price for very solid work. The quality of the workmanship was high, the work was done on time, and they cleaned up beautifully afterwards. Their team did most of the work for choosing the parts, and they chose high quality ones. Overall, will definitely use again for any bathroom remodeling needs.

As always, the plumber from KG was on time, professional and courteous. We were pleased with the recommendations he gave us and the price was reasonable. We will continue to use them in the future without hesitation.

This was the smoothest part of the remodeling project. They came promptly at each stage of the project, worked efficiently and professionally, and completed the work without any problems.

Excellent work in all aspects. Replacement of rotting subfloor was very thorough, with reasonable added cost to original contract. Tile work is beautiful. The recommended Gerber Avalanche toilet is efficient and great. Am planning to hire Ken to replace reamining three toilets with same. Workers were very professional, paying attention to detail and working very efficiently. I highly recommend Ken Griffin for a bathroom remodel.

We wanted an estimate from Ken Griffin for remodeling 2 bathrooms. Called in late June and he came out and took measurements; estimate was to be given to us 1 week later. After 2 weeks, called them and was told the family was on vacation for 2 weeks. Called a week after that and was told the family was moving a son into college; left a message that we wanted the estimate the next week. A person from his office called, apologized for not being contacted and said other people were angry, too, for delays. While we appreciated the call, it was astounding that the office person related that there were others who were angry. Called after they returned and was told they lost our measurements. Ken Griffin himself came out the next day, re-measured and we were told the estimate would come in 1 week. It did not. We were annoyed, but waited the additional time because Ken Griffin had a good reputation and we were comfortable using him based on his reputation and A+ reviews on Angie's List. I called and spoke with Ken Griffin's wife who said she was the designer and only person in the office that could do estimates. She proceeded to go into great detail about how she figured out job costs. Based on this conversation, she seemed overwhelmed, but said that the estimate would come in a week. I felt reassured: waited, waited, tand waited. By this time it was September; no estimate, no phone calls. We have not heard from Ken Griffin since. We lost precious time waiting for him to move forward with an estimate, let alone the actual work. Now it was mid-September, and we needed to have the bathrooms done before well before Thanksgiving. Fortunately, we found an excellent contractor who was exceedingly responsive, efficient, on-time, gave an estimate the next day and provided a detailed schedule of when the job would start, itemizing what work would be done on each day. Ken Griffin does not deserve the high ratings and awards. We simply never heard back from him. Do not use for any remodeling job!

this is a company that II have used before and as always they are flexible and reliable.I actually called them while I was at work to try and set up an appointment to replace my hot water heater .they asked what time was good for me and since I was leaving work early had me call to make sure the plumber was not running late on a previous call.When I pulled up to my house they were waiting for me.The job was completed in a timely manner at a fair price..I highly recommend this local owned company

The work went quite well. Bob the Plumber was very experienced and was able to correctly diagnose the problems in each case and took care of them. We are quite satisfied with repair work that was carried out.

They were very timely, professional and courteous. Would definitely use them again.

Service was great! I called and the woman who answered the phone told me that she could have someone over here in 15 minutes. I was shocked because I'm used to waiting for a multi-hour window of time with other providers. Sure enough, Keith arrived within 15 minutes of when I called. I also thought I would have to buy a disposal first, but Keith arrived with a couple of options, reasonably priced. Plus, they provide their own warranties with the disposals they offer. Saved me a trip to Home Depot. Keith was friendly, professional, and made sure to tell me the do's and don'ts of my disposal. Also, since he was standing right next to my old decrepit dishwasher, I asked if he could just take a peak to make sure it was working properly, which he did (and he assured me it was). I honestly couldn't be happier.

Very accurate quote. Came and installed exactly as promised. They'd previously replaced our regular sump pump and done some other work clearing a clogged line. Each call has been prompt, courteous, and as promised.

Ken was helpful, polite and professional. They managed to get here fairly quicky after the first call to set up the estimate. His estimate was fair and thorough. However, we didn't receive the estimate until about 3 weeks after his initial visit. Then two days later, we got another email asking us if we were going to use our services, even though they'd taken so long to get the initial estimate to us. We asked for some things to be crossed off the estimate and the for the estimate to be resubmitted. We still haven't heard back from them.

We got very quick service and the job was preformed as we would expect. All is good.

Ken Griffin Plumbing Services was great. It took them 2 days. The workers were very good and they were on time. There's nothing that I didn't like. They stayed the whole day long working and came back the next morning to finish things up. The owner came and checked on things at 6:50 in the evening and for me that's going above and beyond.

I recommend this provider. There was a miscommunication on the date and time of service. However, when the error was discovered, it was almost immediately remedied and the company shifted its personnel to accommodate my schedule. The person arriving was very intelligent, competent, and personable. He had the proper part in his truck. Repair was quick and effective. He also left me diagrams of the parts and how to handle the repair myself, if necessary, in the future. I think the price might be a bit high, but not enough to complain about considering some of the discount repair people I have used in the past. They generally were semi-competent at best, and seemed more like beginners then professionals. This provider is for customers who would rather get a repair right than get it cheap. It is a well-run business with professionals at every level with whom I interacted.

All of their original work was up to par. They came out on time and did everything they were supposed to do. As part of the job they were fixing, they had to turn the water supply to our house on and off multiple times. When they completed the job, we inspected the original leak, and it seemed to be fixed. They left the house and we were pleased. About ten minutes later, we went upstairs to use the bathroom (a previously unaffected bathroom) and noticed water leaking from the shower. We immediately called Ken Griffen Plumbing back, within ten minutes of them leaving our house, and explained we now had a new leak that hadn't been there before. We asked for someone to come back and fix the leak. The secretary explained to us that when the water pressure is turned on and off, it often times can blow out washers on other pipes in the house, causing leaks. Since, the plumber from Ken Griffen was the one turning the water on and off in our house, we figured in would be no problem for them to come back out and fix the new problem they had created. Instead, the secretary was extremely rude and said we would have to pay the "emergency rate" to have someone come back to our house right away, or we could wait and set up an appointment. We decided we didn't want to pay the emergency rate and would call back the next day for an appointment, meanwhile, we were left with running water in our shower for days. The next day, the secretary, who happens to be Ken Griffen's wife, was again extremely rude, and refused to send someone out to fix the new problem they had created, unless we agreed to pay an additional $250.00 flat rate, on top of whatever parts and labor were needed to fix the problem. This is after we had just paid $1200.00 the day before for them to fix the original leak. We refused, thinking that because they had caused the problem, they should be the one's responsible for fixing it. We offered to pay for the parts necessary, but did not feel like it was our responsibility to pay for the additional flat fee to have them come out, nor the additional labor, since it was their miscue for turning the water on too fast that blew out the washer that caused the new leak in the first place. We repeatedly asked to speak with the owner, Ken Griffen, to try and rectify the situation, yet the secretary, Mr. Griffen's wife, would not let us speak to him. In the end, we ended up hiring another plumber because we didn not want Ken Griffen Plumbing to come into our house and cause more problems.

We discovered a spraying leak under our kitchen sink at about 6:00 a.m. Being unable to locate the source, we called Ken Griffin Plumbing Services about 7:00 a.m., and the problem was fixed by 11:00 a.m. along with another leak in the back hosebib that we had been trying to fix on our own for some time.

No one ever responded to our email request. No contact was made.

With all the rain we were having our backyard stayed wet and the sump pump discharge was adding to the problem. Ken Griffin Plumbing came out right away and routed our sump pump into the storm drain which helped a lot. They also found and repaired a broken clamp on the pump. We have always had great service from them and this was no exception.

They were extremely responsive. I entered a request on their website on Friday after hours and they actually contacted me Saturday t schedule an appointment. They came on time on Monday (they were actually ready early but we weren't ready, so they went to another job and then came back). The gentleman who came out was very friendly and gave me good options for each of the problems we were having. He also worked efficiently. They're also in the digital age, which is something I like. They were able to complete my payment by a tablet and immediately send me a receipt. Great! I would absolutely use them again.

They were good. The last time we were trying to get an estimate in redoing our kitchen counter and plumbing and they never got back to us. Maybe they're real busy. But so far, the work they have done for us was so good.

For several years I had used Shipley Plumbing, and had good experiences with them. In 2012, I called them to give us an estimate on replacing plumbing hardware in our daughter's bathroom. The plumber who came was not one I remembered seeing before. He looked over the plumbing, took some paperwork I gave him on the faucets I liked (including prices), and then left, telling me I would get a quote soon. Weeks passed without hearing from the company. When the quote arrived, it was incomplete. After several iterations and weeks more time, the quote was still incomplete and quite expensive. I called Ken Griffin to see if they could do better. A very professional technician came to my home. He took notes on an electronic pad, and snapped many photos to support what he wrote. He went over his notes with me before he left to let me know what he would recommend. There was a significant delay in getting the quote, but when I explained I wanted to do an Angie's List review of the company and it would be negative without a reply from them, they got back to me promptly. Instead of simply going with the fixtures I found, the estimator worked with me to identify a high quality brand in the finish I wanted (copper). The final estimate was significantly lower than the one Shipley quoted me, so I scheduled the work. I did not have to wait long. The technician arrived on time. He was a native English speaker. The work was completed flawlessly and in a timely manner. Two pieces needed to be ordered and installed later; it took about two weeks to get that done. The result is lovely! We have since used Ken Griffin Plumbing to fix a leak, too. They are now our go-to plumber. I highly recommend them!
