He came out the same day I called! No one else could do that. We were not getting any electricity to our stove and needed the next day to cook for Thanksgiving. Thanks for coming out the same day and for saving Thanksgiving.

After a disconnect in the time for him to come by, he left but later in the day called and came back to perform the work. He repaired an external electrical box and provided a cover to better seal the box from the elements. I we very happy with his work and will be happy to provide a referral to others should they need one. Quality work by a quality company.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and found them to be excellent. He was timely and offered to let me know what all his services were. He was a really nice guy.

The electrician was pleasant, cleaned up after projects and provided indepth hands on instruction on use of generator. He also provided easy to instruction on electric panel to guide as as we used the generator. Definitely will use his services in future.

Once again Snapper showed up quickly, and did an excellent job making our electrical repairs. And they even changed some light bulbs in fixtures that were too high for us. So happy we found an electrician we can trust.

Terriffic! I was impressed with Mike. He did a great job with the inspection. I hired him on the spot to arrange a date to upgrade the electrical panel, install a bathroom heater, and to add 3 more cable outlets for internet/TV.

I bought the Electrical House Inspection special at $89. The electrician went through my whole house, checked wiring, outlets, etc. He told me what was good and what could be updated or fixed. I had one fuse that was worn out he replaced it. There was an additional $55 charge for that which I thought was reasonable. I plan to use Snapper Electric again when I need an electrician.

I needed several electrical projects performed and used Angie's List to locate a nearby and highly rated electrician. Mike of Snapper Electric returned my call promptly and was able to provide a quote over the phone after I provided a detailed description of what I needed. Mike and his assistant arrived on time and wasted no time getting started. I opted for an hourly rate instead of a whole job cost, and Snapper worked efficiently while maintaining excellent attention to detail. With each item of work, Mike consulted with me to ensure that lights and outlets were exactly where I wanted them. I was extremely pleased with the work overall. Mike and his assistant were friendly and professional, and cost was competitive. I will have no hesitation to use Snapper Electric in the future.

Mike, came out when he said he would and made his estimate - and never varied from it. He ran wire from house, installed 100 amp box in the new garage and ran wire underneath the driveway. He installed five 110 v, 20 amp circuits, with a total of 10 20 amp outlets and ran one 220 v, 50 amp circuit for my welding machine. In addition, he installed a switch for interior lights, and an outside door light. Both Mike and his assistant, John, did and excellent job - they were punctual, reliable, walked my through the job, and just did a very professional job. I could have gotten it done cheaper, but not better. I will use Snapper Electric for all my electrical needs. They did such a good job, I did not even ask for the $100.00 discount they offer on Angie's List!

The installation of my kitchen lighting went very well. Mike and John showed up exactly when they stated. Both Mike and John were very friendly, courteous and professional. The timing was just perfect and in in time for me to bake my Christmas cookies and prepare for Christmas Eve dinner. Mike actually put tape on the ceiling to give me an idea of of where the lighting would be, wired one of the lights, and had me stand at the counter while he held the light on the ceiling and asked me to let him know where I wanted the light to shine. As soon as I told him what was a good area, he put a little mark on the ceiling. Mike did this for a few lights because I wasn't quite sure about some areas. Once I was happy about the placement of the lights, Mike went to work drawing circles where the lights were to be placed. When Mike was finished John went to work sawing holes in the ceiling and Mike was "banished" to the attic to search for the holes and start placing the light fixtures in them. Mike and John seemed to work very well with one another, each seeming to know what the other was thinking. The work started promptly at 9:30 am and at 1:00 pm, six overhead spotlights and 2 corresponding switches were installed, the kitchen was clean and the "boys" were on their way. Oh by the way, the guys were very neat as they worked. They even brought their own broom and dustpan and swept away any dust they made.

I called Mike yesterday when a mysterious and loud electrical hum started in my kitchen. He couldn't come out right away but talked me through some diagnostic steps. He stayed on the phone with me for almost an hour as I tried different things he suggested. No luck. He fit me in today and found the issue very quickly. He had me flip the breaker and he heard the doorbell ring very faintly when the breaker was on. I had totally missed this important clue yesterday. I had a new door installed and they must have hit the doorbell wire with a nail. It was causing a transformer to hum. Mike first tried to unscrew the new screws in the door frame but that didn't work. Then he went into the utility room and found the door bell box in the ceiling (who would have thought?!?!?). He unhooked it and the hum stopped immediately. I'll be calling the door contractor next... I can't say enough great things about Mike. His patience and time yesterday, then fitting me in today were amazing. He had been thinking all night about what could be causing this hum. That shows even more that he really cares. Hands down, the best customer service I've seen in a while. His experience and expertise were quite evident since he was able to diagnose and resolve the problem so quickly. I now have a "go to" electrician if I need one in the future. He is THE BEST!

Michael responded to my request immediately and came to my house within in an hour. It took him a while to correct the problem, but we had already spent a whole day trying to fix it ourselves and could not figure it out. He made sure everything was wired and behaving properly and that it was all safe. He is professional and personable. It was a pleasure doing business with him and I will definitiely use him again if needed.

After experiencing a period of three long weeks without electricity last year, we realized that we needed to get my elderly parents set up with a standby generator before the hurricane season and then cold weather were upon us. We contacted BGE Home for an estimate and were given advise on generator size, along with quite an expensive estimate for the install price. Not happy with the price and unsure about the advise, we checked Angie's List and found Snappy Electric. We called Snappy and spoke with Mike Cliffe, the owner and operator. The first thing that made an impression was that he actually answered the phone when we called, which is rare these days. Mike was friendly and courteous. He came and checked the house and listened to what we had to say. He told us that he didn't think we would need the large size generator that BGE Home advised, which confirmed what we were already thinking, We ordered a smaller generator online, and Mike came and installed it and demonstrated to us how it operated. The price Mike gave us was much better than we had expected, and he did quick, quality work. He answers the phone when you call, and he returns your emails and texts right away. We felt like Mike was totally knowledgeable and just as importantly, honest. We would not hesitate to recommend Snapper Electric to anyone for their electrical needs. We have, in fact, used Mike again recently for a differently electrical need, and were very happy with his service once again.

I had a bathroom light fixture that was not coming on. It was in the case with the head slipped circuit breaker. So, I wanted to have professional electrician to take a look at it to find out why it was not working. What I like is when I call I get somebody who is immediately able to make an appointment and it is very no non-sense, direct, friendly, I understand what he says is the issue, it is what you want, you want somebody to come, do the job well, and take care of things. We get a little bit of a $10 discount on the basic service.

Promptly responded to initial inquiry to set appointment. Came to location and examined the panel and generator to determine the best alternatives for providing generator power during power outages. Explained those possible solutions and costs. I told Mike I would consider my options and get back to him. He called me shortly after he left the house to tell me that he neglected to inform me (his wife reminded him) that his website was featuring an Angie's List special on the interlock system. I later decided upon the interlock system installation @ $999.00 (the special offer). The job was performed on 7/9/13 and took a little over 4 hours. Mike was very accommodating and provided step-by-step explanations of what he was doing. While working on the panel he also checked all the connections and found some which were not quite tight and addressed those. Once the installation was complete, he went over how to activate and de-activate to interlock. We tested the whole system with the generator operating and the BGE power off. Everything worked fine and Mike made sure that I was comfortable with start-up and shut-down procedures. I was impressed with his professionalism and with his knowledge. I would not hesitate to recommend Mike to my neighbors.

The service and expertise were quite impressive. Mike got down to business and solved a difficult connection problem rapidly and effectively. The price for service was very reasonable, as I also received a new installed smoke detector at a discount.

It went very well. I noticed smoke coming from an outlet so I called for service. The owner answered the call and we set up an appointment. He arrived promptly, diagnosed the problem and solved related issues in less than an hour. He offered professional tips that I will use in the future.

We moved into an older house in which no electrical work had been done since it was built. We wanted a larger breaker box plus we needed some upgrades for safety. Mike came out and gave us an estimate. He arrived to do the work as promised and finished everything in 2 days.
