It was great, exactly what you want, they do what they say/ agree and you aren't surprised with stuff left undone or stuff you still have to do after. They even clean up after themselves and place your STUFF back so it really is a turn key job, for a very reasonable price, esp in hindsight. It is so hard to find contractors who really finish the job so all you have to do is pay the bill!

I was having excessive ground water and my sump pump was running constantly. After the county came out and replaced their portion of the pipe from the meter, it was determined that water was still leaking. Because my regular plumber does not do this type of repair I checked Angie's List and chose Alexander. I called and Mark Alexander came out the same day, late afternoon, to look at the situation and give me a rough estimate. I received the written estimate first thing the next morning. This was on a Monday, and because of another, larger job they were working on, my job would be on Thursday. Thursday was a rainy day and the work was moved to Friday. The worker arrived about 45-min. late, but got right down to work, and I went to work, leaving my deposit. Fortunately, they were able to re-dig the hole that the county workers used and feed the pipe to the house without having to dig from the meter to the foundation. At around noon the company called to let me know the job was finished. I inspected it when I got home, and all looked well, but the grounding rod had not been re-connected, and the household items that had to be moved were not put back in the area (I cleaned out what I though was enough space, but a shelf and its contents were moved). I called about the rod on Monday, and a worker came on Tuesday and reconnected it. The one issue I have with the experience is that when the office called me at work to let me know that the job was completed, the first thing that I was asked was how I was going to pay the balance, and told that they could take a credit card over the phone. I let them know that I would contact them to pay the balance after I had seen the actual work. My situation now is that my sump pump is still pumping frequently, but I can no longer hear a hissing sound I was hearing from the area where my supply pipe enters the house. My next-door neighbor has a lot of standing ground water at the back of her house, and I suspect that she is having a problem also. She is contacting the county to check for a leak. I'm pretty confident that my pipe was successfully replaced, but I will be contacting the county to double-check.

I had a drip from the shower head, so I looked on angies list and found this plummer Alexander plumbing service. The whole job took about 45 minutes. The plummer was very pleasant and professional. He cleaned up the water that sprayed on the floor. I was quite pleased with the plumbing company and will definitely use them again.

Alexander was both responsive and professional. The on-site schedule coordination went better than I expected. Price could be better but I've found generally you get what you pay for. We would use Alexander again.

This company was given to us by our home warranty company, so we were initially unfamiliar with them. The front office was friendly and had us scheduled almost immediately. The plumber was professional and finished the work quickly and well. A follow-up visit to fix a second-but-related problem was handled by another of the company's plumbers who was equally professional and knowledgeable.

It went very smoothly. I had never used them and they traveled quite a distance. They were so nice and friendly. I would definitely use them again. They always wanted to make everything right. They wore booties so they didn't track mud in my house. They called before they came which was really nice.

Good job The workers who came kept things clean, were polite and even worked in the rain to finish up the job.

Called to have to water heater serviced. They were able to accommodate me the next day. The serviceman that came over was on time, polite, and professional. Unfortunately he misdiagnosed the problem and recommended replacing the solenoid. Since it was an older water heater (7 years), the parts were difficult to come by (thankfully). So he recommended replacing the water heater because the parts were difficult to find and it would have been a few hundred dollars to replace the parts. They quoted me for a new water heater but I decided to look around a little bit first. In the meantime, after discussing the problem with one my neighbors, he decided to come over and take a look. After some troubleshooting, we determined the air pressure switch was faulty and not the solenoid. I was able to replace the switch myself and now the water heater is working just fine. Ultimately, I was disappointed that I paid someone $100+ to come over and look at it and completely misdiagnose the problem. His mistake nearly cost me $1000+.

The team of two was punctual, friendly, respectful. They removed old toilet and replaced with new. I have no idea what the going rate for such services is but found the price to be high. However, it was a seemless process with absolutely no problems.
