Description of Work: Replaced spigots on 3 lines, installed 2 other spigots and put new braided hoses on my washing machine. It was an emergency situation to me and repairs were well done within 20 hours of contacting them. Work looks to be top notch and was done in very reasonable time.

Description of Work: Plumber did not check everything and there was still a leak the next day so I had to call them back. Needed a new disposal which should have been checked the first time he was here. Within days the sink was plugged up, so I called another plumber who checked everything and fixed the problem. Also, first guys tracked mud in my house because they worked on the hose bib in the back yard. Should have done that last to avoid the mud in the house or had covers for shoes.

Description of Work: Pipe burst on a Sunday; they arrived as fast as possible and had it fixed in under an hour. Very professional, but of course I pd overtime rates for a Sunday. It was worth it.

Description of Work: I had a leak in the valve to the outside spigot. The plumber was unable to get his hands into the access panel to fix the situation... which left a much larger hole that I needed to figure out how to fix. The original pipe was copper, but he had to replace it with pvc. Don't know if that is good or bad.

Description of Work: Installed a gas line for our gas grill. Thought the price was extremely high for the service, but my husband wanted it done.

Description of Work: I purchased "Big Deal" from this provider. Unfortunately, when I called, I was informed that my home (Strasburg, PA) was outside of their service area. The woman I spoke to was very nice and apologetic.

Description of Work: We noticed water running by the covered deck near our house. Called Alexander Plumbing and they promptly came out and found the main water line from the well to the house had a break. The water pressure in the house was slow. This was before Thanksgiving. I was informed that they could not get to me until the 26th of December. But to my surprise they came out before that date and completed the job in one day! Everyone who was involved with the process was very nice. These people really worked with me. The water line ran under the covered porch I have connected to the house, which was a huge problem without tearing out my porch. The engineer did great! He found a way to re-route the water line so we wouldn't have to spend thousands of dollars on tearing out and putting the porch back. The backhoe man was very nice and didn't dig up any of the trees that were in the way, and so was the man who came out to access the job. Overall, I say Alexander is professional and they do GREAT work! I give them a thumbs up across the board.
