Xtra Care Landscaping helped us landscape our front and back yards, which included addressing a longstanding drainage issue in the backyard. The work included front and backyard design, landscaping, and hardscaping. The hardscaping included installing a new front brick walkway and a new back patio, as well as a backyard drainage system. The landscaping included planting of trees and bushes throughout the property. We worked with several people at Xtra Care all of whom provided responsive and helpful service. The large size of the project required some design adjustments, and the Xtra Care representatives were extremely responsive and helpful. The results were excellent.

My husband and I could not be happier with the professional design services, and expert installation overseen by Angela the Owner/Designer and Brian the supervisor. Our front yard is now the envy of our entire neighborhood. Neighbors, family, even people in cars passing by our home stopped by to admire the design and asked for information and business cards. The colors chosen, choice of pavers and plant materials were specifically chosen by Angela to enhance the beauty of our home. She is 'AMAZING!!!! Cleber, the owner, is very personable and responsive to any issues you may have. Mari, at the office is exceptional. She is great at making sure you are happy with your service at all times. Bryan, the supervisor, is very knowledgeable and has done a great job of redoing some of my old landscape to improve the appearance of my property!

Everything was done very well. The new wall looks beautiful, they were very good about cleaning up at the end of each day and always answered my questions in a timely manner. The plantings look wonderful in the setting.

Over all pleassed, it's not perfect but they did a great job.

Xtra Care Landscaping did an excellent job redesigning my front yard including a new flagstone walkway. Cleber and Angela, who own the company, were very hands-on throughout the entire process. Angela was very collaborative during the design stage and took all my ideas and concerns into consideration before finalizing the project. I'm thrilled how great my front yard looks!

XtraCare provided a creative and attractive landscaping and hardscaping design. Angela their designer selected all the plants and did a great job of providing a nice variety. They removed our old brick garden walls and walkways and installed new materials that give the yard a whole new dimension - beautiful. The rebuild of the deck with Trex is a huge improvement - lovely. The project managers (Bryan), the office team (Mari), and the working crews were all professional and hard working. My inquiries/concerns were all answered promptly. It was a pleasure working with a team who really cares about the services provided and the satisfaction of the customer.

I got estimates from about five several landscaping companies, but decided to go with Xtra Care as they were the most responsive to my vision and most flexible in keeping my plans within budget. Overall, Xtra Care Landscaping lived up to their name of "extra care." After the initial visit and estimate where I talked through what I envisioned with Cleber, it took us several tries by email and one more re-visit (at no extra charge) to get the first drafted drawing of my landscaping plans to exactly to what I wanted -- and the Xtra Care team was patient throughout this process and had great suggestions as to where I could save costs to keep within my stated budget, but keep the "look" I wanted (such as suggesting Nicolock Pavers with a 'brick' look, rather than more expensive brick). Further, although the start of the work was initially delayed by an unusual amount of rainfall over a number of days, Xtra Care was communicative about the delay and when re-scheduling was likely possible in view of the weather. Once work was started, the crew was always on time; very polite and receptive about a very last-minute change I had about the size of the garden bed when I saw the drawn outline; well-presented (the Xtra truck and Xtra Care shirts just make you feel like you're being taken care of by a team!); professional; and left the work-site clean and tidy at the end of each work day. As well, I received regular phone calls from the project manager to make sure I was satisfied with the work progress. When a buried French drain was accidentally clipped when the grass was stripped, Xtra Care was immediately responsive and repaired it at no additional cost. Finally, once started, the project was done in a timely and efficient manner in the time estimated by Xtra Care -- and looks great now finished! Based on my experience, I would recommend Xtra Care Landscaping & Design for landscaping projects.

The XtraCare Landscaping folks did a great job. Very responsive and friendly. I asked them to come back twice for a couple of minor tweaks and they did so in a very quick and friendly manner. Bryan Cook was the project manager, excellent. Mari answered my many questions via e-mail and was also very responsive and friendly. Recommend.

We thought Xtra Care did a tremendous job for us. We obtained about 6 quotes for the installation of a brick paver walkway in front of our house, and Xtra Care was at the low end of all the quotes. Cleber of Xtra Care assisted us, and he was the only quoter to prepare an actual detail diagram of the planned work -- the others just verbally described that they would replace an existing old flagstone walk with pavers. The Xtra Care installers were very professional, and took notable care with the work. While we had originally considered all the quotes high (even Xtra Care's lower quote), when you see the work being done, you realize why this kind of work does carry some expense. We were very, very pleased with the work. We were away for the last day of work, and came back to find every detail addressed. In fact, we had just cleared a small area of the yard near the path, and because my husband had mentioned in passing about our plan to grow grass there, they actually seeded the area for us while we were away! We had the walkway done in anticipation of a sale of our house to add curb appeal, and the walkway has really added a pop to our pictures! We would definitely recommend Xtra Care to others.

Very well. Three guys showed up one morning in a truck loaded with tools and gravel. They marked the lines and got to work. By early afternoon they had completed digging, laid/tamped the foundation and put the pavers in place. The next morning they returned and put out the top soil, grass seed, and straw. Within a few days the grass was already growing. easy, easy.... exactly what we asked for.

We were as thrilled with the design process as we are with the gorgeous results. Cleber, Angela, and crew were all top-notch professionals and a joy to work with. We have small dogs and cats and everyone was very accommodating to their needs.

Xtra care was very responsive and helpful and provided a variety of quotes for different versions of the project on a timely basis. Great professionalism, quotes were fully compeitive with others I received for the work.

Setting up my appointment with our designer/president, Cleber, was easy and accommodating. Cleber listened to our needs and made suggestions and tailored the job to our budget. The design was the nicest and largest of the 3 other quotes I received. The price was very competitive and actually lower considering the size of our walkway. Bryan, the project manager, was phenomenal and very helpful in making adjustments as the project moved forward. The crew were polite and keep the job site as clean as possible considering the scope of work. The finished project is absolutely beautiful but most importantly functional. We had an area in the front of our property near our water meter cover that always flooded and stayed wet. Late 2017 and early 2018 we had the heaviest rains in years and the areas had some water but we no longer have flooding/puddles. We are 100% satisfied with Xtracare and would definitely recommend them.

It went extremely well. They helped me design what I had in mind. Made suggestions of things I hadn't thought of. They had to demolish and take away the old brick planter wall that was crumbling. They were always on time and did what they promised, without excuses, delays or mistakes. Every person I met was knowledgeable, professional and aimed to please me.

The workmanship was excellent, and the new stone facade retaining wall looks very nice indeed! The stone facade was effectively equivalent of a 4" stone wall on the face of the concrete cinderblock and required the same degree of craftmanship that a fully mortared stone retaining wall would have needed in terms of cutting and fitting each stone. It is a pleasure to see such craftsmanship on display. Retaining walls do need to stand the test of time to prove themselves and while it is still early days we do feel very good about what was put in place by XtraCare. XtraCare also did not nickle-and-dime us which was very refreshing and pleasant experience overall. We definitely intend to have them in our shortlist for any landscaping project we undertake in the future.

We were very concerned about finding the right company to complete such a massive project, and we certainly did find one of the best. X-tra Care is a first-class landscaping and construction company. This organization has three essential qualities: professionalism, quality of services and products, and fair pricing. It was a pleasure working with each and everyone one of the team members. The owner Cleber, and his wife Angela, who is the landscaping designer, were not only lovely to work with but also they were patient and very responsive to all of our needs as we developed and implemented the 6-week project. Their manager Bryan, who was on site every day, attended to all the details and requests that emerged as the work moved along. Because of the complexity of the project, there were endless adjustments, changes as well as accommodations needed, and Bryan took each one with a smile, a positive word and made happen. Bryan is incredibly hard-working, and he is not afraid to get in there and work right along with the workers, meanwhile showing them respect and appreciation for their efforts. Also, I would be remiss if I did not mention the fantastic workers in X-tra Care's team. We saw these man working at our house every day for 6 weeks. Arriving punctually, working quietly and respectfully while stopping for a mere half hour lunch. They were pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. Their talent and dedication were clearly reflected in the awesome work they completed. The whole project is beautiful. We are delighted to have had Xtra- Care complete our dream landscaping project, and we are hoping to continue working with them for years to come.

Cleber Rodrigues (the owner) arrived on time for the estimate (although he called as he had thought he might be delayed by traffic); the estimate arrived by email the next day (the price was fair); the work was scheduled promptly; the work was done on-time. The crew that did the work was professional and, although outdoors, the work site was left very clean with no damage to the lawn, plants, or other hardscape. I am demanding, in the sense that I want things done right. (I have a large, older house that requires constant maintenance and many contractors just don't get it right the first time -- or sometimes ever.) XtraCare performed flawlessly and fully lived up to my expectations and beyond. I can recommend them unreservedly -- and I cannot say that about many other contractors I use.

We recently moved to the Washington, DC area and were in need of updating the outside of our house. After interviewing, trying and letting go a couple of companies, we came across Xtra Care. From the start, they were professional and prompt in their service. Our jobs were not easy and, to be honest, I am demanding and not always the most patient of customers. There was never a moment in which they did not treat me with respect and the patience I did not afford them at every turn. Our house now looks like a home because of Xtra Care.
