Very professional, friendly and listen to what I needed done. Looks fantastic with the proper drainage. I would recommend them to anyone needing work on their driveway.

I originally called them because they did excellent work for a neighbor. I left a message and a day or so later I was called back. The woman I spoke to told me that the estimator would call me on "Tuesday or Wednesday" to set something up. That was the last I ever heard from them. In the course of the last two months I've left voice mails and requested a quote through their website and they have never contacted me again. If they ever do come out for an estimate I'll happily update this to reflect what work was discussed or completed.

They showed up on time, performed the work professionally and cleanly, driveway looks great! They filled some bad areas as well and prepped the edges so they could get sides where asphalt was above grade a little bit. It was a big job and they were up to it. Person in the office was professional and pleasant. I recommend these folks wholeheartedly!

It went really well. They came out and gave me an estimate. I did have some issues, but they repaired it for me.

Excellent job throughout. Glen and his crew were punctual and very efficient. He mentioned doing the landscaping during our initial visit and I was happy to oblige. He also dealt with the county inspector and made sure the preliminary work was up to spec. The driveway looks very good and we've received compliments from all of our neighbors. I think they are a little jealous.

Called and left message never returned call.

In August 2012 Superior Paving removed our existing 1220 sq. ft. driveway and installed a completely new one (grading, compacting stone, base asphalt, surface asphalt). They did a great job. It is now two years later, and we are interested in getting a quote for resealing this driveway. When we called at the beginning of the summer, we actually spoke to a person and were told that the price was based on what was done previously, and they would have to get back to us. We did not receive a call back, so we called again and had to leave a message. A person named Tracie did return this call (she left on our answering machine), but she said that she could not make out the message because it was breaking up and was staticky. She asked us to call again. We did call again; and we have called numerous times (about 10, maybe more) leaving a message each time --- not one phone call has been returned. We also sent an email through their website and an email directly to their email address; neither of these was acknowledged. All we want is an estimate for the resealing of a driveway that they built. Since they have a record of the size of the driveway and what they did, they probably don't even need to come out to give an estimate. We were very pleased with the original work that they did, but not at all pleased with their responsiveness to our many calls and emails. Angie's List claims that the service providers on their list are responsive. I have not found that to be the case for Superior Paving. Why have our calls and emails been ignored?

It went extremely well. The work was done in a very timely and efficient way, in less time than I expected. The new driveway looks great. Their clean-up process wasn't left to the end. They cleaned up as they worked, and after it was finished, you couldn't find any debris or loose asphalt. The surface looks smooth. It was compacted to the maximum; the roller was run over the surface dozens of times to ensure solidity. The company owners, Glenn and Tracy, are terrific people to deal with. Glen is very personable, knows his stuff to the max, and is very forthcoming with answers to layman's questions. He's the consumate professional. Tracy is a very friendly, outgoing person who makes sure the customer is informed about schedules and work dates. She made the whole thing much easier, especially when I originally asked for an October 2012 start date, then changed my mind to May of this year. An excellent experience overall, and a truly outstanding result.

We are very happy with Superior Paving's work. Their estimate was prompt, they performed the job in the timeframe planned, their price was very good, and the driveway came out great! We were there to see them work, and they did everything promised, and were very careful with details such as aligning the driveway with our new walkway. They were very easy to work with.

After receiving several bids, I decided on Superior. We agreed on a date to replace the driveway. but the work was done earlier since there was a cancellation.

If Mr Parks gets in touch with me with a legitimate reason for the lack of communication beyond the first email, we will certainly accept his estimate.

Glen and Tracy are a husband-wife team. Glen and his crew arrived when scheduled and did a very professional job. Almost a year after the job was completed, we noticed 2 and quot;defectsand quot; which looked like tennis balls trying to crack the surface. When I called to have Glen come out to take a look, I got no response to emails or phone messages for at least two weeks. Apparently, they had been on vacation and didn't change their voice message. Today Glen stopped by to repair the two spots. There was nothing defective about Glen's work; we just had giant mushrooms growing underneath forcing up the asphalt! Glen said he had seen such a thing with tree roots but never with fungus. He promptly fixed the two areas and also took care of a ding a delivery truck had left -- all at no charge. I definitely recommend him and his company.

They were excellent. The price was fair for what they did. We are all four families and so it was fair. They were very professional. They came in quietly. They were neat and clean about their work. They did their work and they did everything that they would do. Rather than just slap asphalt on top, half of the driveway had to be taken down. It had to be dug up completely and gravel needed to be laid down. Then several inches of asphalt had to be put down on top. We had precise margins on the edges. We didn't have any debris. They cleaned up after themselves. They were incredibly professional. I was very impressed with this company. I will use their services again in the future.

We like them. They were responsive, provided info when asked and did the job when they said they'd be here. We'd use them again. A few of our neighbors used them, too.

No work Performed

I reviewed asphalt and seal coat ratings for this company on Consumer Checkbook. They showed up within a few hours after my call and gave me an estimate for my driveway and my neighbors and the connecting section, 200 dollars each side. This price was very competitive altho I would have hired them if they charged more because of their Consumer Checkbook ratings. They came at a very convenient time and were on time. They did a terrific job, in 95 degree heat. They were friendly and informative. I look forward to seeing how the seal coat weathers over time as it is on the sunny east side of the house and in sun from sunrise till about 4 PM. There are several companies with this name, use Superior Paving out of Damascus, MD.

Our driveway looked great when the job was done. They were able to do the job in one day and were reasonably priced. I was impressed as they were able to schedule the work okay and came out as they promised.
