Mickey was very professional and provided great insight and advice. The only reason we did not use Hassle Free Home Improvements is that we decided the scale (and price) of the project was more than we were ready for at the moment. We will make it a DIY project (by not moving the door, lighting, or switch) to save some money. We plan on a much larger renovation on our main level (removing a load-bearing wall) in the next two years and will definitely consider contacting Hassle Free Home Improvements for a quote on that project.

They are extremely handy and I would give them 5 stars.

The price was good,?but a little high for me. He was very thorough, and his demeanor impressed us.

Hassle Free Home Improvement transformed a dilapidated two car garage into a very nice one car garage. The construction went very well and remained on schedule. I had no issues with the contractor. They were several surprises that came up during construction due to the type of garage that we had but they were all resolved quickly and efficiently by Hassle Free Home Improvement.

The remodel was not an easy job as we had a walk-in jacuzzi tub installed. It was big and awkward in the space we have. All went well and we are very pleased.

The crew was always on time and completed tasks as scheduled. The deck was finished on time and looks fantastic. They kept the work area clear of debris very little mess from the project. They hauled away all demolished deck material. They custom designed a gate for the deck and matched it to the new deck material. Overall we are very satisfied with the quality of the work and the professionalism of the crew. The price was high but much of that is because we chose the synthetic deck materials. Overall, I definitely recommend this business if you are thinking about replacing or resurfacing your deck.

In a word: Great. I could not have asked for a more professional and talented crew. Details: I have a small house with a small kitchen footprint. Hassle-Free owner Mickey Taff came out and looked at the room. He asked many questions about how I use the room, what I wanted to add or take away from the old kitchen. Since I had been planning this renovation for almost 20 years, I had specific ideas as to how open I wanted the room to feel, what sorts of tiling and countertop I wanted and a pretty good sense about the cabinets. Mickey works with Wellborn Cabinets. If you want another brand that's fine, too. Wellborn makes high-quality cabinets in a wide variety of styles and shades. For most people, it's not difficult to choose what you want. This was the second project Mickey has done for me. He also renovated my bathroom, for which I have written a separate review below. As with the bathroom, I really enjoyed this renovation experience. The demo went smoothly, followed by the plumbing and wiring, and then, boom, the cabinets went up! What a great thing to come home from work and find the upper cabinets in their places so soon after the project began. The work continued apace. The crew began on time and completed the work right on schedule. No leaks in the plumbing, all of the electrical works beautifully. The original estimate included an installed laminate floor. I chose Dura Ceramic instead. Since Mickey was not experienced with this type of material, he asked that I hire an outside business to put in the floor and then came by while this work was taking place so he could see how it was done. I liked that Mickey worked with the flooring business to accommodate this work without my having to bother with scheduling myself, since I work full time. The cost of the floor was taken off what I owed Hassle Free and applied to some additional tile and and other work that came up during the renovation. I am very, very happy with my new kitchen! What a joy to have found an such a wonderful contractor with such a skilled, friendly crew.

I called them from the monthly publication. He wanted me to make a list of jobs around my home and prioritize them. He said that he would come out for each job and accomplish them one at a time. I just wanted them to come out and get an estimate for all of it at the same time.

It went very well, we are very happy with the kitchen and it looks great. The team they had onsite focuses on our job for the duration of the project. They were good at problem solving issues that arose from dealing with such an old house and the surprises that they encountered in the walls/floors, etcs. Any cost changes were a result of scope changes (change in the number of cabinets, etc.). They did very good work and were friendly the whole time. They made changes and adjusted things as my wife and i changed ours minds on the fly without complaining, etc. and never changed their approach to the job.

Mickey and his team did terrific work! Not only were they timely and cost-effective, but also good craftsmen and nice.

He was responsive and the quality of his work was good.

The service provided to me by Hassle Free Home Improvements Inc. worked out really well. The work was very good. The crew that came out here understood the problem I was encountering and got me much further along on my project than I would have been without them. I'm thankful for that.

the men showed up on time, I took them through what I wanted done. They got right to work and were efficient and did everything to my specifications. I am very satisfied and would use their services again

We decided to have another contractor do our project but felt really comfortable with Mickey and his plan for our project. We would gladly meet with him to discuss future projects.

The Deal was for 6.5 man hours. The prepping and painting were nicely done, no problems. But one part of the job, the porch floor, was not done. Mickey said it wasn't his responsibility to complete everything on my list, but he and his workers had told me the items could be taken care of within the time. When the 6.5 hours were up, I paid for additional hours of work, but eventually it was 6 pm and work really had to stop. I contacted Mickey to have the final part of the job taken care of. That was 3 weeks ago and I have not heard back. My porch floor has splotches of ceiling paint on it. I will be looking for someone else to complete the job. By the way, when the deal is for 6.5 hours of work, apparently that means no break for the worker. I wish this had been explained to me as I would have gladly agreed to breaks much sooner.

This is a bathroom that had a previous renovation about 8 years ago that turned out to be a disaster! We finally got the money together to take out that mess and put in a new one, and I was focused on *quality* above all else. What a joy to find Mickey and his team. They took out the old walls and were careful to put down tarps on our wood floors. They did a great job of taking out the old bathroom, correcting the floor issue from the previous renovation, and putting up Durock around the shower and in the area where we used to have a superfluous door to the bedroom. So the bathroom is now a lot less noisy--it feels very solid, like it will outlive the rest of the house! Steve and Dave and all of the crew were professional and really fun to work with. Leandro did a masterful job with the tiles. I am not very good with spatial things, so I really appreciated that everyone seemed to know how to make the job look great even if I couldn't be precise about what I wanted. They understood where the medicine cabinet should go vis-a-vis the light fixture and the vanity, even though all of these fixtures where different lengths. Since I work full time, I couldn't be there most of the time when the guys were around and they did a good, professional job without my having to hover around. At the end of the project, I had a teeny-tiny punch list--just three minor items that were taken care of right away. This was by far the best team I've ever had in my house. True artists. I would definitely recommend them to others.

It was GREAT! Leandro and Frnkie showed up romp toy at time specified. Very courteous and professional. We're able to take car of all items that I needs repaid and then some. It was a wonderful experience and I would definitely recommend them to everyone I know. Look forward to using them for other projects in the future.

Hassle Free Home Improvements did a fantastic job on my deck. They were timely, dedicated, and worked hard the entire time they were here. I would definitely use them again.

The work was done on time, perfectly and exactly as we had asked. Steve and Frankie arrived exactly at 9 a.m., as promised, and set right to work. As per our earlier agreement after ordering the service through an Angie's List coupon, which provided two men for 3 1/2/ hours, we purchased all of the materials ourselves at Home Depot so that the work could begin immediately. Steve and Frankie are both very personable, friendly and cooperative. They listened to us and responded to any questions we had. The shelves were installed perfectly and any holes left from the old shelving nails were patched very neatly. They went over the work with us when it was done, adjusted a couple of shelves to our liking, and cleaned up thoroughly. They did not leave until we had looked the work over and told them that we were satisfied. We are especially grateful to Mickey for deftly handling a last-minute glitch that occurred the day prior to the work being done. Mickey had scheduled a different workman for us, but he had a last-minute family emergency and couldn't come, so Mickey asked us to reschedule a week later. We explained that this would put us in a real bind since we had already emptied both closets and all of the things we removed were piled up in our dining and living rooms. Since we expected guests the following week, we could not postpone the work. Mickey quickly arranged to have Steve and Frankie come at the original time, thus avoiding any hassles. We are thoroughly pleased with the service, the quality of work, and the cooperative, friendly attitude of everyone we dealt with at Hassle Free Home Improvements and plan to have them do over our bathroom next.

The wife and I have been doing renovations to our new house since we bought it last June. We've had about 20-30 different people doing work of different kinds in our home. We were getting close to finishing everything but were so tired that there were a bunch of little things that we just couldn't get to (see above). We were very happy to see the Big Deal for Contractor for a Day, and went with Hassle Free Home Improvements because they had great reviews and price. I worked with Mickey to schedule something and he was able to get me on the calendar. He worked with me when I needed to switch dates. There was a month lead time since so many people had gotten the coupon and since Mickey's guys do great work. But it was great working with Mickey, and he confirmed the service appointment the day before. The worker, Leandro, was one of the best contractors/workers we have had in our home. He got here on time, took our list, asked a few questions to be clear about we wanted, and got right to work. We were amazed at how fast he worked! When we had questions, we asked and he answered. We weren't sure how to handle our transition from the dining room to the kitchen since I use a wheelchair, but he had a great idea that he executed flawlessly and now I have a very user-friendly ramp. He cleaned everything up, left no mess whatsoever, and literally worked every minute of the whole 6.5 hours. He got so much done and we are very happy! Great job, Leandro. Great deal, Mickey. One workman arrived early in the morning and efficiently did all the jobs I needed. He though he wouldn't be able to finish the list I had, but it turned out he was able to do every job listed. The reason I marked N/A for the price, is I paid for the work through a special Anglie's list deal.

It was agreat experaince. They communicated well, and were very kind and courteous. They cleaned up afterwards and the jobs looked great. We used one of the angies deals and they seemed happy that we did rather than upset at us using a coupon, and worked with us so we could get the most done in the alotted time period. Will defintly be using them again.

All of the work performed either met or exceeded my expectations. I had received quotes from other companies for both tile repair jobs that far exceeded what I paid Hassle Free and they did all the other things on the list too. The handymen were efficient and courteous and cleaned up when they were done. I plan on using them for a home improvement job in the near future.
