Below is the letter which I sent to their Corporate Office in which nobody has responded. My suggestion is to stay away from this company based on my experience... Glassell St. Orange, CA 92865-4313 714-637-2100 CorporateOffice@budgetblinds.com sdmeyers@budgetblinds.com RE: BudgetBlinds of Germantown c/o Scott Meyers TO ALL: I am writing this letter in reference to our experience regarding the customer service by Scott Meyers of Budget Blinds in Germantown MD. It began on Nov 14th when my wife selected a slot on the Budget Blinds calendar for November 27th at 5:30pm. On Nov 27th, Mr.Scott Meyers called and asked if we could move the meeting time up to 4:30pm because he had to get home to care for his children. We moved the time up to 4:30pm and when he arrived he immediately stated ?I don?t how much time this evening? and he rushed through the presentation and departed by saying he would send a quote. On Nov 29th, we had not heard from Mr Meyers so I decided to send him an email. He responded, apologized, and then sent the quote later that evening. At this point, my wife and I were eager to purchase based on the quote received. We requested a second meeting with Mr. Meyers on the same day to finalize the contract and also add 2 additional windows. On Nov 30th, he returned our call but said he doesn?t have time for a sit down meeting but he will measure the windows and leave the book for us to review. He came over, measured the windows, left the book, and was gone within 20 minutes. My wife and I reviewed the book and we had several questions so we asked if he would sit down with us for further discussion and finalize the contract. We did not receive a response from Mr. Meyers so I decided to call Budget Blinds of Silver Spring to send over another representative. Mr. Meyers finally called me on December 4th, with another apology, and asked how soon we could meet. I told him we could meet that night because we want the shades up before Christmas. He said he could not meet that evening but stated he could meet us the following day to complete the deal. I sent him an email, per his request, letting him know we are prepared to meet the next day. As the pattern follows, we did not hear from Mr. Meyers on Dec 5th nor did he call but had the audacity to send me an email at 10:58pm as listed below. Jerry, If you could leave the book on the front porch tomorrow, I will pick it up around 845. Tomorrow late afternoon I am free. I also have time on Friday. When can we sit down and make final selections. Mr.Meyers showed up at our residence around 9:30am on Dec 6th and my wife met him at the door. I spoke with him on the phone and he stated that he normally doesn?t have follow-up meetings with customers. I explained to him that we wanted to make sure we are purchasing the correct material. Based on our concerns, he stated he would meet with us later that evening and asked if 7:30pm would fit our schedule in order to allow time for the care of his children. We stated that it would not be an issue and will be ready at that time. It is now December 7th at 7:40am at the time of this writing and we have not seen or heard from Mr. Meyers. At this point, we will not be making any purchases from Budget Blinds based on the lack of honesty and integrity shown by this individual. I understand that we all have very busy schedules so that is why you make plans to accomplish all the things that need to be done. It is not my intention to cause any harm in this matter, but it is my obligation to let the corporate office know of this horrible experience. Thanks for your attention in this matter. Mark from Budget Blinds came to our house for an estimate, he was friendly and very efficient - he provided us with an estimate the same day. We then worked with Scott (who was also very accommodating) for the installation part of the process, the shades were ready to be installed less than 2 weeks from the day that we ordered them. Richard was the one who came to our house to install the blinds - he was wonderful - installation took less the 2 hours for over 20 windows. We couldn't be happier with the overall experience and the final product! We would highly recoommend Budget Blinds of Germantown!
