K and R Lawn Care

Description of Work: I contacted K & R Lawn to maintain my yard for the season. The price was reasonable. When I called to schedule an appt they were booking out two weeks. So in Mid April, I was put on the schedule for Saturday, May 5th. I was able to employ other services prior to this date which would start a 6 month contract with K & R Lawn. May 5th came and went. They did not mow my lawn, they did not call to tell me that they were not coming. I called several times and their voicemail box was full, so I could not even leave a message. On Tuesday, May 8th, I was able to get through to the mailbox and leave a message. When they did not return my call, I left another message on May 9th. You can picture the state of my grass by now. On Thursday, May 10th I called and actually got a hold of a person. She apologized for the delay and promised to send a crew out on Friday, May 11th. That was another date that came and went, no phone call to tell me that they could not make it again. I worked until 10 pm that evening and had not seen my un-cut grass until late that evening. I called Saturday and left a voicemail begging for them to come. I had a Mother's Day cookout planned and my grass was now over 6 inches high. They did not return my call. They did not come. I had to cancel my Mother's Day. I pre-paid the entire amount. Had they not told me that they could make it Friday the 11th---I would have tried to get another company to come mow the lawn prior to my Mother's Day weekend. I can't believe I trusted them. It is very important to note that both times they were scheduled to come we had bright and sunny skies the whole day. I'll never get that Mother's Day back. Today is May 16th. They have still not returned my latest calls.
