Rick, who came out to quote the job and start the crew, was knowledgeable and a good person to work with. The job was well coordinated with stone, concrete, backfill dirt arriving at the appropriate time- impressive. The sidewalk finish was excellent – smooth brushed finish with clean edges. Replacement sections aligned with existing sidewalk, again excellent finish. Concrete pad was smooth with very nice finish. The job was completed with backfilling – including seeding where needed. The area was cleaned up nicely at the end of the job. The work and experience exceeded my expectations, and I can be very particular. Again, concrete finish excellent, pleasant staff, and a good value. Well done!

+ -1 moreMay, 2021. I would highly recommend Barlow Concrete. I am writing this review on my own accord; they don't know I'm posting this. After interviewing 4 contractors, I chose Barlow to make a 22"x 10' patio, front walkway, and driveway border to the property line. They gave me a very competitive price. I chose them because I felt the most comfortable with the project manager, Andrew. Andrew also gave me a construction date that was sooner than later - within 7 business days - and were quite flexible with me, as I had to work through an HOA. The crew was outstanding. Quick, efficient, and left a very remarkable product - including a solution to the driveway edging - which was to build in a curb. They taped everything off and cleaned up the area very well. This company cares. In the early evening, Andrew came by to check the work and my satisfaction with it. That rarely happens nowadays. I am tremendously pleased.

+ -1 moreAsked to have old front walkway removed and replaced with a wider concrete walk and steps that were up to code. Had specific requests about the type of finish and tying in to adjacent brick structure which they were able to accommodate. The proposal was detailed and had all the relevant information. The work was outstanding. Mr. Barlow came out the day before to confirm and mark the layout of the replacement walkway. Workers showed up the next day at the expected time and did all the work as planned in one day (except for sealing which they needed to wait a day to do). We were extremely pleased with the outcome and have gotten compliments from our neighbors on how nice the walk looks. Would definitely use their services again.

+ -1 moreExcellent. The communication back and forth was easy, professional. Mr. Barlow suggested a color since I wanted something to match the older concrete. And decided to not go with the open aggregate. Very pleased. Excellent work. They also noticed the curb that meets the cutaway was damaged and fixed this and replaced bits of the nearby sidewalk. I would recommend them whole-heartedly.

Description of Work: Things went really well. Rick provided a fair estimate, and even volunteered to replace a section of concrete that was a trip and fall hazard at No Charge! They were able to do quality work at a much lower price, and were able to meet my needs while staying within my budget!

Description of Work: We live in an architected community where replacement of front steps, walk and driveway are specified in the covenants. When I mentioned the requirements, the contractor stated he'd done jobs in town before. There was a communication problem. The work was completed in a timely and professional manner as the contractor thought would look best and it did look great. The problem -it didn't meet the covenant requirements or match the neighbors. The architectural board was meeting that evening, seeing a photo, stated it had to be changed. The contractor was informed and agreed to make the necessary changes. The work was again completed in a timely and professional manner. He ate the cost of making the change and the final results look great. In the future, if we need to have concrete work done, we will contract with them.

+ -1 moreWe loved working with them from the start. We found them from a neighbor who uses angle's list and did their own project with them. When we first got our estimate it was exactly where we wanted and then they took care of the permits for us. All in all from the day they broke land to the day they finished it took 2 and a half days for them to tear up the land and walkway and pave with concrete. It looks amazing and We would definitely use them again in the future for other concrete jobs as well as recommend them to anyone who asks.

Description of Work: Barlow repaved our walkway in 3 concrete panels that were badly worn by time, weather, and inferior quality from previous contractor (not Barlow). They did a great job. When I asked for and got the original estimate for 2 panels, he recommended I get the 3rd one done (it really needed it) to save money. All in all a very fair price, great service, and great work. I would definitely use them again.

+ -1 moreEstimator was willing to make multiple visits to discuss our options and was on site during the installion. Crew arrived early and worked non-stop for most of the day to complete the work. They did an excellent job for a very reasonable price and we have had several professional contractors comment on the craftsmanship and quality of the work. The patio looks fantastic and we will absolutely use them again for future projects.

+ 0 moreThey spent plenty of time helping us decide exactly what we wanted and how we wanted to set it up. They gave us good advice and we were pleased with the work when they came out to do it. They did it quickly and well. They were not the cheapest but I will use them again in the future.
