Description of Work: We came home from vacation to find our water meter base gushing water onto our basement floor. I immediately called Schadt Plumbing and Heating. Fortunately for us, they were in the vicinity and were here in five minutes. They found the problem and contacted LaVale Sanitary Commission who sent out a truck and fixed our problem.

Description of Work: They replaced a 3-handle faucet set in our tub/shower. They were very courteous introducing themselves. (2 brothers) They were here for an hour and a half working together very efficiently. We are very pleased with the result and would call them again if needed.

+ 0 morewe contacted Schadt, they came out within a week to look at our system and provided an estimate. We did a little online research and called with some followup questions about options, John seemed very knowlegable and discussed the pros and cons of systems that were options for our home. a few weeks later the system he had ordered came in- John and a second man spent about half a day- it was considerable physical labor to dismantle and remove the old system- then they installed a new furnace that was less than a tenth the size of our previous unit- more storage space in the basement!!! YAY! ...AND our heating bills went down about 25%- some was due to the decreased cost of natural gas- but some was due to the increased efficiency of the new furnace. That winter we were able to indulge ourselves and keep the house a little warmer- in the past it had been too expensive to turn the thermostat up!
Description of Work: removed old and malfunctioning furnace from the 1940s, replaced it with new high efficiency furnace, cut heating bills considerably and eliminated what had become routine repair visits!!
