We were very satisfied.

The service was prompt and they cleaned up my property afterwards. He even came out with his partner to give me a second opinion when I received differing advice from several tree companies about what to do about the trees on my property. I appreciate Ken devoting the extra time to make sure we did what was best for the trees on my property. In the end, he advised me to simply trim them back, even though cutting them down would have yielded his company more money. I will use Severn again in the future.

After a storm knocked a tree across our fence, they came out to provide an estimate the same day I called. The estimate offered to take down a second tree in danger of falling towards the house for a very small extra charge. We contracted for both trees and they were removed within 72 hours of our initial call. The crew (2 men) that showed up to do the work was quick and professional, taking about an hour including a very thorough clean up of the branches and sawdust that fell in the yard as they worked. They arrived in a truck labeled "Royal Tree Service," so there are at least two names that operate with this service.

We had a downed limb from a 100-yr old maple tree. The tree is right on the property line and the limb landed on the shared fence taking two sections down with it. We called in the morning and received an estimate by early afternoon. We decided to remove the entire tree because of its high risk to do the same. They gave us the best price of the four estimates we received. They had to place the bucket truck on my neighbors property and the chipper on our side. They removed the entire tree and another tree in our yard. They did and excellent job. They preserved the sections of fence as best they could and did a great job cleaning up, too. Our neighbor was very happy with their work and stated he would use them if needed in the future.

Overall, a professional and highly competant company to work with. They provided the estimate quickly. They were the low bid and consequently got the job. The only difficulty was scheduling the actual work day. We always had to call them to ask when they were coming. It rained on the first scheduled day, so we had to reschedule. Otherwise, they were perfect. The crew showed up at the promised date and time. The crew leader was polite and professional. The crew went to work and everyone appeared to be working while they were here. No standing around and watching. They did a nice job of cleaning up the twigs and leaves that get scattered when large trees come down. We would hire them again if we need to take down another tree.

As stated above, this was professional work, Royal procured necessary permitting and handled the tree removal from start to finish. Taking these trees down was tricky business due to their location/closeness to the house and shed. They used a combination of climbers, ropes and a cherry picker and the whole operation was well choreographed. Nice work. When other trees need to be removed from my property I intend to hire them again.

Estimator showed up when promised and provided timely estimate. Work was delayed one day due to unexpected problem on job prior to mine. I was notified of the delay. Workmen were professional, careful not to cause any damage to surrounding areas, and did an excellent clean-up.

The owner arrived, gave me an estimate, set up a date to take down the trees and left. This was all done in apporximately 20 minutes.His crew arrived on the date agreed upon. They were careful and efficient. They asked if I would like to have wood left. I wanted this. They carefully stacked the wood where I asked them to leave it. They cleaned up the entire area when they were finished. They left no mess whatsoever. I would highly recommend this company.

For big trees, they get a crane! It costs more, but it's safer when the tree is near the house.

They were easy to get along with. They tell you how much it’s going to cost, and they set up a plan, give you a date and move in and make it happen. They do good work, and they are good people.

We have had Severn Tree Service do removal and trimming work for us at our home and a rental property several times over the years. We are currently needing to have more work done. With the exception of one incident where a staff person went gung-ho and hat-racked five or so feet off the top of a pine tree instead of doing the targeted-area pruning I asked him to do, I have few complaints about the quality of work and the general experience. My problem with Severn is the pricing. I have never had a job pitched to me for under $700, which has become a running joke when we need to call them-get ready to spend at least $700. So I am very surprised at the lowball jobs reported here. For that reason, I am going to get several estimates this time.

They did what they said they were going to do. They cleaned up after they finished their work. Their price was also good. They did a very good job.

Crew arrived on time with all necessary equipment. They also had signs and cones to warn and direct traffic. Crew was extremely professional and explained everything they were doing. Superb service, outstanding clean- up and zero damages or mess. They even made sure all squirrels were safe when scurrying around.

We were referred to Severn Tree Service by a neighbor. We scheduled tree removal on the same day, which helped keep our price down. Severn Tree came out and took the trees down to ground level. They left no debris in the yard. They were unable to get their stump grinder through our back gate so a few days later an associate came out and ground the stumps down. We paid $125 for removal of 3 damaged evergreen trees and $100 for stump grinding. The trees were approx 8-10 ft. tall. We were very happy with price and service

He came out to give me a free estimate. After I requested the work to be done, he was there within the week. The trees look great and the clean-up was immaculate: the yard looked better than before!

I was so very happy to have found this gentleman to help us. He came out, spent a lot of his time ensuring that these two trees were on their way out, and actually gave us advice and an official letter the county needed on how we could get them down. He didn t charge us a dime for any of this even though I attempted to pay him. His only request was that we call him when we might need his services in the future. I was very pleased by both his advice and his professionalism. I defiantly recommend him and will use him again.
