We were very happy with the results. We were looking for some improvements to enhance the curb appeal of our house before we put it up for sale. Ballard sent someone out who looked at the possibilities and made some suggestions which gave us some options we had not considered. We had thought it would be difficult to rip up the concrete sidewalk that was uneven and draining into the house, but they had a way to cut it in pieces and popped them right out! They put a facade and flagstone veneer on our concrete landing and completely changed the first impression of anyone looking at the house. They also put in a sod lawn and cleaned up some brush and a large stump. What a great makeover!

Start to finish it was a very positive experience; the office staff, arborist, and work crew were all responsive, knowledgeable, and helpful. We had to reschedule due to weather but were kept up to date about changes. The crew was very careful and even put our patio furniture and other decorative items back where they found them. I would use them again and have recommended them to my parents.

Met with Paul Fox and went over everything I wanted done. He made very helpful educated suggestions about the work and I gave the OK. The crew (3) showed up on the appointed date and again went over everything. They went to work and I do mean WORK. They were great ! Professional, polite and efficient. They cleaned up everything when done and we walked the job at the end to make sure I was satisfied. Perfect ! I will use again when needed.

I purchased this, they came out promptly, but we found an alternative path. However, we have other trees on the property that need tending. As a result, we will be contacting them specifically.

Everything went very well. The company was very responsive in letting us know when they would be out and the guys showed up on time. They worked quickly and cleaned everything up. The trees look good and we're happy with the service. We would use them again.

They never showed up nor did they call to reschedule. Each time I called them I received a new date, which they never showed up for. Even though I confirmed the most recent date of service as early as the day before service was to take place I was told by the owner, on the date of service, that date was incorrect. The owner claimed they were waiting for the results of my soil sample, though this was never discussed in advance and had nothing to do with, or in' our signed contract. Additionally, the signed contract stated work was to be performed within 30 days of service but, after 51 days, work had not even begun. I requested the contract be voided, to which the owner, Tim Ballard agreed.

We had several trees removed. The work was done exactly as stated and the staff was responsive and very friendly. Would highly recommend.

I just felt like they were being dishonest about the deal. I talked about getting the work done and once I mentioned that I purchased a deal he said he didn't service the area. Then he said that I should have just called them first instead of buying the deal.

The service was rushed, even though I'm told this huge oak may need to be removed at a cost of $5,000 to $7,000. I was promised I would receive an email with an analysis of my situation outlining possible options, if any, and the cost. I was leaving for 3 months, but had someone to oversee the project in my absence, however I did not hear back from anyone.

They did an excellent job at a great price. They chipped the trees they cut and left them for us, and we used the chips to cover a large area under trees.

It took them about a month to get here with their schedule.

We love our new patio! The entire team was helpful and courteous. JD provided insight and sketches that provided a finished concept that we could not picture on our own. We had a couple of minor issues that were quickly and professionally addressed right away. Everyone on this team clearly cared about the quality of their work. I'm a very particular person and am very happy with the way this project went.

Ballard Enterprises where professional and timely. They made sure that I was taking care of even when we had a miscommunication they were quick to resolve it. They came out and did a great job on my two stumps and now I will probably get additional services from them since I noticed they have trees which I would like to get planted in place of the old ones. I recommend this company to Angie's List members.

I called Ballard and the lady who answered was very nice and helpful. She told me when someone could be out to provide an estimate (1 business day). The person came out and left a written estimate for me. I then had to wait a few days for another vendor to provide me another estimate. Ballards estimate was $25 higher than the second estimate (with AL discount) but their response time and communication made me feel more comfortable using them. I sent the estimate back to Ballard via email. They called the next morning and we scheduled the time for the work to be completed. They came on the scheduled day. Cut and removed the limb from the shed. They then removed all of the wood from the yard. They left or sent a paper invoice and also sent one electronically. I paid with a credit card online. From my perspective the work went off without a hitch. As stated earlier, they got the job because of their quick response and clear communication during each step in the process. They also provided a $100 Angies List discount.

The tree had insects on it, and it was a nutrient efficient. It worked very well, and saved the tree. It just one guy, and he was an excellent worker.

It went very well. They did a very good job and did it within the time frame allotted. I also purchased a deal through Angies list and I felt like it was a great value for the work done.

This provider came out and gave me a quote but I ended up not needing the service. They were very responsive.

It was very easy working with Ballard Enterprises. They were helpful and very truthful. Our tree was close to power lines so BGE had to get involved. Ballard was very upfront and told us this would cause the work to be delayed. We understood and were patient. The hold up we had with our job was from BGE not from Ballard. As soon as BGE cleared us for the work to proceed Ballard was there. The tree came down and was cut into pieces in just a few hours. The next day they came back to grind the stump. Ballard's price for all this work was more reasonable than any other company we contacted. We are very pleased with the work Ballard did for us, and we will certainly use them again.

We had a large pine tree fall in our yard, and it was time to trim the other trees, so we purchased an Angies List deal, $1799 for 8 hours of tree service. When the arborist came out to assess the work, my husband could readily tell that he knew what he was doing, unlike the last company we had hired. The crew arrived on the agreed upon date and worked despite rainy weather, until it was too dangerous to continue. They came back about a week later to finish their 8 hours. They did a very good job. We paid an extra $250 to have the stump of the fallen tree ground up. We still have some trees that the crew was unable to get to during their time, but definitely plan on having them come back.

Ballard was awesome! We needed a very old, and large maple tree removed. It was dying from the inside. The limbs and branches hung over into the neighbors yard and were intertwined in the electric lines and the neighbor's pine tree. We also needed the work completed before having a new shed built the next month. Ballard was not only able to complete the work the next week, but they also coordinated with Miss Utility and BG&E beforehand. Everything went so smoothly. It was incredible. The crew was very professional and cleaned everything up spotless. We asked for them to also remove a large portion of the tops of some overgrown bushes and also to plant a dogwood tree. Everything turned out better than expected and the 6 foot dogwood is now flowering and looks very healthy. Ballard Enterprises is really a one-stop-shop. I think the most shocking part was that they did not ask for a deposit beforehand. We were told that we only pay when the work is completed and done to our satisfaction. That was a very pleasant surprise and shows in the company's confidence and ability to do a great job. I plan on calling them to do some landscaping in the front yard in the near future.
