Description of Work: They didn't DO anything. I found their assessment relatively worthless. I was concerned about the health of my tree-they offered nothing to improve its health. They wanted to prune it. I could have gotten pruning service from anyone. I wanted to improve its health. Seemed like I paid $79 bucks to be solicited for pruning services.

Description of Work: Ballard removed a tree . Can't tell that there was a tree there . Grass is growing nice and green. I will be using them for landscape work. Thanks Ballard!

Description of Work: Took down a very large tree which went extremely well

Description of Work: Removed a significant limb (one of five growing from the base) that had died due to lightning. Removed smaller dead branches from the rest of the tree also killed by the lightning strike. They did an excellent job being careful not to remove any parts of the tree that still showed signs of life.

Description of Work: Took down big oak tree which was very close to house and power lines.

Description of Work: They came by in November to give me a estimate on trimming the tree in my front yard ($600), but we had to wait till after Thanksgiving to have the work done. They came on 12/14/15 to do the job, they were on time and did a very professional job. The one major branch they had to remove, they tied it off with ropes and cut it up in sections which greatly lessened the chance of damage. Over all a very good experience.

Description of Work: I bought a $199 stump removal deal on 7 Jul 2015. I had used this company before to cut down a tree and grind a stump. On 29 Jul I received an email from Ballard Enterprises, asking for a phone number. They left a phone message for me, I returned the call on 31 Jul, asking if I could use the stump grinding deal to remove a dead bush from my rental property. They said yes. I asked if I needed to be present for the work to be done. They said no, and that they would fit in my job when they were in the area. They emailed me a contract, which I responded to by email. |The bush was still there on 28 Aug, but gone on Sunday, 31 Aug, so I assume it was removed 29 or 30 Aug.

Description of Work: They arrived on time. Cut down the locust tree around power lines; a week later when the stump grinder was available, they ground the stump & large roots; removed a 3'x4'x8' mound of wood chips & leveled the area. It went well. no power lines were damaged.

Description of Work: The original arborist who came out gave me information for the trees and where they can be cut. The second rep who came out that did the actual job told me that one of the trees that I wanted trimmed couldn't be trimmed. They couldn't climb the tree to trim it because the roots were loose but they did cut it. I was given different information for the trees but the job was completed.

Description of Work: I've used them yearly for the past 5 years to trim trees and to remove a very large tree in my small back yard. Very professional, punctual and reasonable in cost if you have enough work for them to come out.

Description of Work: The company is still going to perform services for me, but the deal did not match well what I need, as it turns out. Paul Fox, an arborist with Ballard, came to my house to see what I need and provide estimates on July 22. He explained that I need some of the service provided by the Big Deal, but most of my needed services did not fall under the Deal...so I would do better, financially, if I just contracted for the services that I needed. I do not have enough work covered by the Big Deal to use the whole offer. I want to cancel the deal but keep the company!

Description of Work: He was very professional but since he was my first estimate, I do not know if the price was too high or not. I did not know the tree was dead and has to be removed. The cost was much more than I expected and not in my budget at this time.

Description of Work: Bought the Big Deal in April and it took two months for them to come out. Fast and professional about the estimate and work done. However, being made to wait until they said they had another job in the area for them to deliver service just isn't worthy of A rating due to customer service.

Description of Work: It took them 6 days to get an appointment for them to look a job and their estimate was way over what i wanted to pay.

Description of Work: Trim 4 trees and clean up. |Service was very good but they should have called before coming to do the job. Fortunately, I was home when they came.
