They were very punctual and very tidy. The work has given a number of years of extended life to some very mature trees. I have recommended them to neighbors and will again. I was happy with the experience.

They also perforated some ground around a tree so it could get nutrients. They are very professional and punctual. I would recommend them highly. --George

They came when they were called. Their price was in line with the other estimates I received.

About $800. Have used them previously in 2006, 2007, 2009, 2011; basically every couple years for trees in our yard. They listen to most of my requests/list. Prices have seemed to be high end in estimates but not sure this was an area to seek "bargains" in. What was done was done neatly and seemed professional. From what I can tell, any tree trimming service is on answering machines and you should not expect a quick response ... at least those were my experiences.

The cost was calculated on an houly basis and I was amazed at how reasonable it was. They dug up and replanted both trees within two hours.

The only way to safely bring down this tree was to limb it down carefully while using a bucket truck in the driveway as the only means to get at the tree properly. Additionally, care needed to be taken with removing the one trunk from directly over top the expensive light fixture on the lamp post, and in addition, avoiding damage to the garage dormer. I had observed Ballard Enterprises in my neighborhood before and I knew they had the proper equipment and training to bring this tree down safely. I was informed at the time of signing of the contract that the team was about two weeks out on their current schedule, weather depending. This was fine with me as I wasn't in any particular hurry as long as I got the tree down before winter storms. Roughly right at the two week mark, Tim called me the night before the work to let me know the crew was coming the next morning at 8:00 AM. The crew showed up ahead of time in the morning the next day and promptly got to work. The crew leader deftly manuevered the bucket truck around the trunks of the River Birch, quickly delimbing and guiding the limbs by rope to the ground by using a spin block attached to a high spot on a separate trunk. The ground crew would gently lower the limbs down to the ground and piled them neatly in the driveway. With only trunks of the tree left, the crew leader carefully removed sections of trunk, tying the sections off with rope. The ground crew waited until each section of the trunks were cut free and hanging clear before lowering them to the ground. Once the tree was down, the crew used a claw machine to grasp all of the downed limbs and drag the limbs down the driveway to the road where the limbs were disposed of in the shredder attached to a truck. The trunk sections were loaded onto a truck as well and all local debris was raked up and disposed of. By the way, not one trunk, limb, or twig touched either the expensive light fixture on the lamp post, or the garage dormer. To this I credit Tim's crew and the expert way they go about their business. Having a crew with all the correct training and equipment is essential and Ballard Enterprises has that, and they are professional and safety conscious. The stump grinding occurred about a week later, early on a Saturday morning one of Tim's crew showed up with a truck and the stump grinder in tow. This person made quick work of the stump and was gone in probably about 30 to 45 minutes. I can't say enough about the excellent Tree Service work that Ballard Enterprises performs, and I will definitely use them again.

Excellent. Work performed professionally and as contracted. Timely service. When the tree was removed, I was concerned about a hydrangea that was in the same area. Crew took special care to replant the hydrangea and it seems to have survived being dug up and replanted.

Ballard is a top notch tree service company. They are professional, competent and efficient. Just wish their prices were a bit lower.

Provided great service. Had professional arborist on site for actual trimming. More expensive than a previous trimming by another company, but pointed out where previous company made mistakes and explained what the mistakes were. Felt that they were much more professional and knowledgeable than previous company. Location and hight of tree also makes it difficult to trim the tree. Would definitely use them again.

Great. There was no access for machinery to the back yard so they had to climb each tree. Amazing to watch the skill level and safety precautions. The ground was covered with dead branches and they removed and cleared everything - even the debris that landed in my neighbors' yards.

It went extremely well. I have used Ballard for at least the past ten years for all my tree removal. Over the years they have taken down many dead trees on my property, both large and small. There never has been any issue with trees going the wrong way during take down. They start from the top, taking down a section at a time, in a very controlled fashion. I would use them for any tree removal job and have complete confidence that the job will be well executed at a competitive price. They will cut up and leave firewood if desired, or remove all the debris. I highly recommend them.

Awesome. Once the trees were removed, they cleaned up and when they left, I had mulch left that I was able to use in my other gardens. The workers were professional and polite and left our yard better than when they came. I would highly recommend them and will use them in the future.

I don't recall exactly what they did for me, but I do know my trees are still standing, and they are shaped very nicely, and there are no branches hanging down so they must have done whatever they were supposed to do very well!

I did have to have them come back because the way they trimmed the trees was a little odd. The tree specialist had instructed the crew what to do prior to them completing the job, but I'm not sure if those instructions were followed and the tree specialist was not there when they were doing the work. They were nice folks and easy to work with but it just wasn't what we expected for the tree work. We did call after the job, and the tree expert actually came back and did some trimming himself. The shrub work was good, but again the tree work wasn't as good as we thought it could have been. The clean up was very good and we were pleased with that.

I keep coming back to them time after time because they are very professional, and they take the time to explain what they are doing and why they are doing it. They are also great about following up, and even send out a thank you note after the work is completed.
