Excellent experience.

A pleasure to deal with this company from beginning to end. Beautiful job. It was a small job but they gave all the attention as if I were getting my whole home done. From showing the range of carpet samples, giving wear advice, and padding advice everything was smooth and done with ease. All questions were answered promptly. Price was surprising good for quality. Service and installation was excellent and it looks great. I almost wish I needed more carpet. I will definitely recommend this family centered company and use them for my future flooring needs.

National Carpet was the first vendor my husband contacted - he just walked into their Crofton store. Wesley Sherman was very helpful, explaining in detail the latest in carpet technology (who knew?) and what made National Carpet different from other flooring vendors. He sent my husband home with a number of samples to ponder as we selected our paint and explored various carpet possibilities. Throughout the process both Wesley and Helen answered all of our questions without hounding us with follow up phone calls. We looked at other vendors, got other quotes and decided to go with National Carpet because we appreciated how they didn't try to nickel and dime us with various charges. 8# padding is their standard, they move the furniture, take up & remove the old carpet -- and that's all included in one reasonable price. Their installers were professional and friendly, taking the time to answer my many questions about the installation process.

They kind of shorted me on the carpet on the first install. They had a very good price, although it was kind of a "used car sale" kind of deal. They beat a bigger chain store by a mile with much better quality stuff, only because they over estimated how much carpet was needed. They worked with us pretty well. I wasn't left with any extra carpet, which is kind of annoying. The quality of carpet that they had was better than you could get at a hardware store. I was pleased with it. I thought it was going to be a lot more hair raising than it was.

I like that they are local and a small business. With the economy being the way it is I wanted to support my small local businesses. It was an excellent experience. I liked the carpet that they had. They sent me home with samples. Everyone that I dealt with was helpful and nice. They were professionl and they were easy to work with. I was able to schedule everything on my schedule.

We were replacing a carpet, had gotten too high estimates from previous installer and check Angie's list for another recommendation. Got the carpet from the recommended supply store for much less, but the supply store had to have existing pad, which was good and fairly new, replaced, so we went to Angie's again for installation recommendation and found Nat. Carpet. We were very satisfied all around with carpet and installation.

Work done in preparation for selling our home. We were referred through our real estate agent. Very happy with the in-store advice on color and style. Prompt measurement and good estimate. Installers arrived on exact date and time; we had a 4-man crew for the carpet which meant one day instead of two! Laminate flooring installed in one day by one heck of a guy. There was a follow-up by the store to determine if we were happy.

THEY WERE VERY HELPFUL AND PROFESSIONAL, MY NEIGHBORS KNEW THEM... AND I HAD USED THEM IN THE PAST SO THEY DID EXACTLY WANT I WANTED AND THEY DELIVERED IN TIME.

THEY TOOK LONGER THAN EXPECTED TO COME OUT AND DO THE ESTIMATE. THE CARPET PRICES INCLUDED PICK UP AND HAUL AWAY OF THE OLD CARPET. THEY MOVED THE NECESSARY FURNITURE. THEY USE 8# PADDING AS A STANDARD NOT AN UPGRADE. THEY HAD A LARGE SELECTION OF CARPETING. THEIR PRICES WERE GREAT FOR BERBER CARPETING.
