I am very pleased with this company. I kept hearing an incessant beeping noise in my house. I initially thought that it was the ADT alarm that is not in use and inquired about the price to remove the ADT alarm from my house. Rick called and ask for more information to make sure he correctly diagnosed the problem. He then suggested that I probably did not not a technician to come out, but when I asked for a quote, he gave me a very reasonable quote. Rick diagnosed my problem (an old carbon monoxide alarm), and I did not even need a technician to come out. I really appreciate his expertise.

Richard was professional and only made recommendations that he believed made since for my needs.

Rick was very professional in providing overall recommendations. He was entirely willing to use the existing equipment in the house, creating a hybrid system with new and older components. This was much more cost effective. Rick and his son Richard are extremely helpful. They are available most hours if there are concerns or problems. Even though I am 45 min or more from where they live, when there is a problem, they almost always come to my house the next morning. Rick has discouraged me from installing devices that are probably completely unnecessary. He has decades of experience in the business, and has a very good sense of where there are vulnerabilities and where burglars are unlikely to attempt entry. I have recommended Maximum Security to a friend, who has a much smaller home. She is extremely satisfied with the service they provided, and was able to utilize their standard, cost effective package.

I would like to first start off by saying that Richard Sr. and Richard Jr was very kind, courteous and professional. In today's society, companies just want your money and forget about what good customer service is, but not with this company and it was refreshing to have it. They even offered to pick lunch up for me when they went on there lunch break. How often does that happen! :) I received at least 2 other quotes and decided to go with them, because Richard Jr. explained the system very well and took the time to enter my home with foot booties, which showed me that he respected my home. The job took about 8 hours which was explained at the time of my estimate. All of the wires are very neatly done and they ensured that they cleaned up during and after the installation. Also, before any drilling was done in certain areas, they asked for my permission and explained why. After everything was completed, Richard Jr. explained the system and helped me to load it onto several devices. He did not leave until I was comfortable with the system and even offered to come back out if I have any problems. I would recommend them, if you are ever looking for a video surveillance. April 17, 2016 I just wanted to give you an update to say that this is the best company that I have ever used. I had an issue with my service and when I called, they came right back out to fix it. The service is still awesome and Richard is a great technician.

Perfectly. Owner of the company personally responded to our initial call, came out for the consultation. He did not try to over-sell or use scare tactics. He also came to supervise the installation.

They did an awesome job. The house I bought was owned by a secret service guy so there are private company cameras all over the outside of the house. They charged $430 for the cameras and around $30 a month. It is father/son owned. The son is very knowledgeable and set up flood monitoring because we had a flood. They did a lot of stuff that another company had done wrong and couldn't figure out. He was extremely impressive and very much on top of his craft.

I found all the positive previous reviews to be accurate. Rick and his son were punctual, professional, polite and cleaned up before they left. I have no previous experience with alarm systems. Rick's method of instruction on how to operate the system has worked well for me. The system was very affordable and flexible so that we can add other functions if we decide to in the future.

It’s a father and son operation. They are very attentive and respond very timely to my needs. I am very pleased. The cost is very good. The price is about $63.00 a quarter before state taxes.

Their price was reasonable given the cost of the system's components and the time spent installing it. Their installation was clean, quiet, and professional -- very important given that we have a newborn at home. They even scheduled a more convenient time to come back and test the siren. I can't think of anything I would have wanted different about the experience. They built a good system, installed it cleanly, and educated us on how to use it.

Scheduled an assessment of security system for our home. Punctual, professional and personable. Recommendations were made for our needs. There wasn't an attempt to sell us more than was required. We decided to use the company and scheduled installation. They performed the work, went into detail about using the system and explained everything in a timely manner. They were extremely professional in demeanor and execution of the work. Answered any questions or concerns I had with ease.

After interviewing numerous alarm companies I chose Maximum based on other recommendations. I wasn't disappointed. They were clearly very knowledgeable. They advised on what they believed would meet my needs, no more and no less. This is my third home with a security system and the installation work, configuration, and quality support was by far the best I've seen

Our home was broken into, ransacked and burglarized on Jan. 7, 2010. After that upsetting experience we were highly motivated to improve our home's security. A neighbor recommended Broadview (now ADT); however, the Broadview salesman spent more time talking about how much free monitoring I could earn by convincing my neighbors to also purchase Broadview systems than he did the security features of his product. Also, he told us that we couldn't have a wired system because of the way our house was constructed, and that we couldn't have a motion detector because of our cats. He did an extremely hard sell and tried to get us to agree to a system there on the spot. Fortunately we resisted and contacted Maximum Security after reading a favorable review of them on another consumer website. The owner, Rick Lohfeld, came out promptly and gave us a professional assessment of our home, answered all our questions, assured us we could indeed have a wired system and a "pet-immune" motion detector, and promised to email us a proposal promptly, which he did. Rick Lohfeld has the no-nonsense bearing of a police officer, clearly knows his stuff, and didn't need to rely on a hard sell to push us into purchasing his product. In fact, he didn't try to sell at all. He answered our questions, made recommendations, and told us to take our time making our decision. We contacted him a day or so later and purchased a motion detector, a couple of glass breaks, door contacts, a keypad and a fully wired smoke alarm system, with smoke detectors on all three floors. He and his son installed everything quickly and efficiently. He upgraded our keypad at no extra charge, and agreed to accept payment once our new bank account had been established (after the break-in we feared checks had been stolen and so canceled our existing account and opened a new one). A month or so later, when we needed to have one of the glass breaks adjusted because we kept setting it off accidently, he came out and resolved the problem at no charge. My husband and I both very highly recommend Maximum Security, Co. And no, we don't receive any benefits (monetary or otherwise) for doing so. :-)
