Great job on everything

I talked to Gary at Md Hot Tub and he was able to come out in pretty short order. He showed up when he said he would, and took care of our tub through a series of visits, Each time they showed up on time; they returned calls, and even called when he was all done to be sure we were happy. The overall price was not cheap, but a lot of that was materials, and I have no idea how to compare that. But overall, I was extremely happy with everything and see no reason to ever call anyone else.

Very well. Trying to get a company that works on Hot Springs/Tiger River hot tubs was very frustrating. Called Maryland Hot Tub, Pool and Spa Repair. Received a call back from Lynn in a timely manner. Gary Palmer and Toby came out to locate leak. He saw 3 areas that were leaking water in my 11 year old hot tub. He also located a blown gasket in the main pump that could cause bearings problems in the future. That would mean a complete pump install for around $700. He was honest about the condition of my 11 year old hot tub. He took my main Wavemaster 7000 pump back to the shop to replace wet end seals and fittings. Cheaper than a new pump! I felt very comfortable in his work ethic. Gary did not try to tell me a lot of parts were bad or try to sell me a new pump. I found Gary Palmer to be an honest businessman that just wanted to repair my spa, in the most cost effective way. I will call only him for all my hot tub needs. Note: No repairs on a hot tub, pool or spa are cheap. I rather have an honest repairman than a cheap repair that will fail.

paid to have estimate done, received estimate later than promised, No call until I had to call, used the estimate to hire another trusted contractor due to bad communication with this provider. My contractor ordered the parts that the estimate called for and came to install. My contractor found that he could not install or even diagnose due to faulty electrical service coming into the spa. This made the estimate worthless as you cant even diagnose if you don't have correct amps coming into the spa!! Had electrician come and correct the issue, the spa now works perfectly with no need for replacement parts. Now I have to pay my contractor restocking fee and return shipping. $350!!! I was referred to this company by Home Advisers and should have used Angie's!! NO follow up from Home Advisers or from this company, I will be refuting this companies charge for a worthless estimate that I paid $169 for! If you use either Maryland Hot Tub Repair OR Home Advisers after reading this revue your not too smart!!!

He did a thorough inspection, but the power had tripped, so he offered to return (at a significant distance), to reinspect once I had the power on again, and to complete any necessary repairs at that time. They are extremely personable and professional to work with.

I contacted the company via Home Advisor on May 4th, but received no call back or email response... I then called this company on 6/6/14 and left a message...still no response. I called again on 6/9/14 and received a customer support person who after receiving my location information said they do not service my area. My rating is based on non-response to messages that were left.

Their responsiveness was great. We were scheduled for service within a few days of calling the first time. After that, they were flexible and helpful even with us being on the road. The repair was done right the first time at a reasonable cost. Overall, it was an outstanding experience. I will call them again if there is any other problem.

I called Gary the week of 14 October and asked him to take a look at my hot tub which would turn off and wasn't heating at all. He scheduled and appointment for the next day, but had to back it up another day due to a previous appointment which ran longer than expected. Gary stated that circulation pump was bad and that the flow control switch had gone bad as well, which I was aware of from my self-diagnosis via the Internet. I typically have used another company in the past, but wasn't overly happy with them, so I was very curious as to what a new company would say and if they would attempt to take my cash. Only two years prior I replaced the entire circuit board (not a cheap ordeal) and was hoping someone new wouldn't try to utilize that as the issue in order to secure a big job. Anyway, Gary called me to discuss the issue and then promptly emailed me the estimate which was $324 in parts and $298 in labor. He ordered the parts from another company and on 5 November installed everything. The hot tub is back to normal and is quieter as well. I'd recommend Maryland Hot Tub , Pool and Spa Repair Service to others in need of service. Robert

Our technician was very thorough, prompt and polite. Since hot tub repair requires some time to study the machinery, the company charges a fee for an estimate. Although we finally decided not to repair the hot tub, I thought the advice we received was quite valuable. I was not aware that it is possible for a hot tub to catch on fire, and since ours is located inside a screened-in porch, that was important to know. The technician also discussed ways of removing the hot tub from our porch, if we elected to do so. We also received a detailed, written estimate by email.

It went well, right on schedule. They would have been ahead except for the weather. The pool turned out great with a nice deck, water fixture,led lights, swim out section, coping, and tiles. They graded the land and got us a big 40 foot long by 20 foot wide pool.

Tech was prompt and friendly.
