+ -1 moreGreat! Mark answered my email from Angies List within 2 hours (on a Sunday afternoon), letting me know he could do this job. We coordinated a pick up time time for the next day. He came when he said he would and did the job quickly and efficiently.
Description of Work: He took some furniture, a big old TV, a dorm sized refrigerator and some other items out of the basement and a heavy fireplace screen from the garage.

+ -1 moreOverall we are pleased with Easy Hauling. They took away a loveseat recliner, large china cabinet with hutch, dining table, two tall narrow bookshelves, and two dressers for $350 in total ($250 hauling + $100 disassembly) from a 2nd story apartment building with stairs. This was the most reasonable quote we found. They arrived a couple of minutes early, worked quickly and efficiently and were done in about an hour. Our only issue was that Mark was not able to confirm the date until the day before. No doubt our original Saturday requirement, and upcoming July 4th weekend made scheduling more difficult. We would definitely use Easy Hauling again.
Description of Work: Removed a loveseat recliner, large china cabinet and hutch, dinding table, two bookshelves and two dressers.

He and two helpers came and hauled out enough old furniture and junk to fill a large trailer, pickup truck and medium sized panel truck. They were professional, courteous and very efficient.

In addition to transporting the furniture, all items were reassembled and set up in the new office. We were so impressed with the service that we subsequently used them to mount a white board and several pictures in the office. They will be our first call when we need service again.

+ -1 moreEverything went very well, this was a last minute job, called Mark on Friday, he returned my call within an hour or two, scheduled a two man crew (plus Mark) to start the next morning. Mark and his team arrived the next morning on schedule and they completed the job in about half the amount of time I expected. Mark took the full load of junk to the landfill and disposed of it as part of the service provided (including recycling metal, plastic, etc).. They were fast, prompt, polite, and took care when removing the large items to not damage the walls or doorways. I would highly recommend Mark for anyone who needs items moved locally or trash removal.
Description of Work: called Mark to clean out a house, he removed kitchenware, washer, dryer, fridge, several large racks in basement, and a few pieces of furniture. Enough stuff to fill his large panel truck.

+ -1 moreA rarity these days, but Mark Taylor, the owner, personally answered the phone when I spoke to him on Friday, Nov 22nd, to ask how much 'advance notice' would be required. Without hesitation, he advised they could be at my home in Baltimore City by 8 AM Monday morning, Nov 25th for pick-up. He and his helper arrived exactly at the time he told me having called me earlier that morning once they got underway, and within 15-minutes of their arrival the move was completed. The 12-drawer bureau was quite heavy, even with the drawers removed, but they took great care to carry it down 2 flights of stairs without a scratch to my walls or damage of any kind. I can highly recommend Mark's company as someone who takes pride in their work, is personable and is reasonably priced.
Description of Work: Mark and his helper moved a heavy 12-drawer bureau with a mirror from my 2nd-floor bedroom, three 9 x 6-ft. carpets & carpet pads from the cellar and a coffee table.

Description of Work: I am totally disappointed in this provider. I had used them about a year and half ago to move my belongings up one flight to the top floor apt and was very pleased but this time I called them to move my furniture to a condo I have just purchased and was given an astronomical estimate over the phone which I decided was too much for me and then the owner said he would come out to take a look at my apartment and give me an estimate. I called to confirm when he would be coming and he said Friday would be better for him and how about between 9 & 12? I said all right but then I did not hear from him and he never showed up. I called and he did not answer his phone (surprise). So I left a message about professionalism and decided to leave this review of how I was treated. Too bad they do a good job but be careful what you ask for.

+ -1 moreWe had another hauling service here over the weekend to remove many items, including a sofa bed. That company, after wasting much time, decided that they could not move the sofa bed down the one flight of steps necessary to get it out of the house. Mr. Taylor, with the same number of workers as the other company - 2 men, removed the sofa bed with no damage to the walls or floor. He did it within 15 minutes. There was no standing around and discussing various ways of removing the sofa bed. It did not get stuck in the doorway, as happened when the other company tried to move it. Mr. Taylor and his helper just did the job. They came the same day that we telephoned for an appointment, were punctual, and efficient. The price was reasonable. We will hire My. Taylor's company again.

He answered the phone (impressive in itself these days) and though a relatively small job on an incredibly hot day, said would help me out. He was here on time and took care of everything quickly and professionally. There is no doubt that I will use him again and will certainly recommend him. I already called the management company which handles my rental property and said they should add him to their referral list and not hesitate to recommend him to clients and tenants.

In 45 minutes, all debris was removed, the surrounding area raked and cleaned. The Easy Hauling Services team was courteous and went about the job in a businesslike manner -- which is appreciated by this customer.

+ -1 moreI found Easy Hauling Services (EHS) through Angie's List. My preference is to use local businesses and EHS is located in my town. Mark and Charlie had to take the furniture through the downstairs exit door and up a flight of very narrow stairs. Not only did they remove the furniture but also found a charity that could use the furniture. Mark and Charlie were punctual, professional, and cordial. I will certainly use EHS again and recommend them to others.

This is a very customer focused company that does what it says it will at a fair price. I would recommend them to anyone who needs unwanted heavy items removed. Description of Work: Called late this morning and talked to Mark, who gave me an estimate. Said they might be able to take away a large entertainment center later in the day or some time this week. + -1 moreFantastic service! I called Mark in the morning and he gave me an estimate over the phone. He came out that same afternoon and removed the furniture. He and his partner were in and out in about 30 minutes. They were friendly and professional. They had to remove some of the furniture from the second floor and did it quickly and carefully. Even though I had added two items to the list after he gave me the estimate on the phone, he kept the charge the same. I will definitely call him the next time we have furniture to be hauled away.
