Don Dodson Home Improvements

Originally I hired this company to paint my outside chimney, which they did using two coats of Rustoleum paint, and did the job within a couple of days for $100. Then I got a quote for renovating my half bath, and hired them for the job. They did a terrific job from the very beginning. It took two days, they handled all the clean-up, and gave me great suggestions for small improvements. They were congenial, respectful and a pleasure to work with. I am already looking forward to my next project with them. No matter what project you have, he sure to ask this family-run (no subcontractors) business for a quote.

The painting team was punctual each day and finished within the estimated time frame. There were between 2-4 workers on site doing the work. They identified some wood damage that we were not aware of on the front of the house and made repairs. When they were finished, we could not see any evidence of the former damage They used a high quality paint. Other contractors had said we needed to replace our shutters (easier than painting hte existing ones), but Don's painters had no problem painting them while they were attached to the house AND did not drip one drop of paint on the surrounding brick. Don came to us as a recommendation from our neighbor. Don painted the entire exterior of their house the year before. The reason we gave them a "B" for quality was because we had asked that the wood directly beneath the eaves be replaced and they did not replace it. most We were very pleased with the work that they did.

Could not have gone better! Mr. dodson and his crew were great, prompt, and on time. Their prep work was great, they cleaned up wonderfully and the paint job still looks wonderful. We are planning on having him do more work for us now, and I wouldn't consider calling anyone else!

Mr. Dodson and his crew did a fantastic job on the major kitchen remodeling that we had done in our home. The kitchen had not been updated for at least 25 years, so the job was much needed. Mr. Dodson was able to show me several options before we started, and was helpful and patient while I chose one and asked a lot of questions in the process. The work went much quicker and smoother than I thought it would. Each evening before leaving the crew would clean up and make things as livable as possible for us. He was very good at ordering and scheduling material deliveries so there was very little down time on the job. I am a very picky customer and I am so pleased with my new kitchen. I only wish that I had not waited so long to remodel. The price was competitive with other quotes that I received. Cooking is very enjoyable for me now. Don Dodson Home improvements has also painted the entire inside and outside of my home. The job was just perfect.

Don arrived on time with all necessary supplies. He discussed with me what I wanted. He gave me great hints and tips to achieve what I was looking for. He was very thorough. I live in an old home with lots of previous owners and layers of paint and wallpaper but despite this he was able to get great results. It is a testament to his experience. He did his work in a timely matter. I do believe that I got a good deal for the work that was done.
