We have had a service contract for 25 years. We have always been pleased with them! In fact, they are the only company familiar with our Bowie home and unusual filter sizes. They also kept our old AC working for longer than should be expected. When it finally died they did a great job of replacing it.

I can't express my thanks enough for the quick response and the candid assessment the service provider gave me. It would be more cost effective to replace the washer vs. doing a repair. Once the part for the refrigerator came in it was installed promptly. Great response and great repair to my refrig. It is working now. I would like to make a few suggestions to the service provider: the link to his web site did not forward my initial inquiry, so it best to call the company vs. making contact via web; and, I wish he could have kept me more informed on service time on the day of the install because I had to coordinate it with the renter.

Prompt, very efficient service. Definitely will use again.

Called KitchenAid and they fixed the problem within 30 minutes - no new parts needed - piece of glass stuck in bottom of dishwasher. And these people never did follow up.

I would use this company again for future appliance repairs.

He promptly arrived during scheduled time frame. Dryer was running, but not emitting any heat. He checked all possibilities of why the dryer was not working. He was extremely efficient, and solved the problem in a short time. He was very professional and courteous. I thought his rate was fair. I would not hesitate to call on him again.

This guy is awesome. I told him on the phone that the machine stopped spinning and it was a Kenmore and it was 21 years old. He told me what he thought was wrong and then came out same day, pulled the machine apart, said it was exactly what he thought, quoted me the price, I agreed, ran out to the truck for a part, fixed it, and was gone in a total of 20 minutes. Very nice. Good price, great service.

Our refrigerator was not cooling. Belair Appliance saw us promptly. When they came over, he diagnosed that the evaporator coils were frozen and he de-iced the coils, this worked for about 4 days and then the coils froze again. We had Belair comeback and look at the fridge again, he determined that the evaporator blower was not turning on (needing to be replace) and told me that I had to replace the entire evaporator manifold which would cost around two hundred dollars. I decided not to pursue that option and went online and found the same blower for about $25 and installed it myself. After I installed it, the fridge was still having the same problem. I remembered that I had an HSA home warranty and I went through them to get the fridge fixed. When the serviceman through the warranty came by he said that the evaporator temperature sensor was not working and replaced the sensor and the fridge has been working fine ever since. I was quite disappointed that I spent $120 (+ $25 for a new evap blower) for someone to put hot water on the frozen coils and give me a wrong diagnosis that would have ended up costing me an extra $200 and wouldn't have even fixed the issue. I'm glad I remembered I had the home warranty and I wished I used that in the first place. Belair Appliance may be a good company and were responsive, but I would not recommend them for refrigerator repair.

I believe the initial call to Blair Appliance Repair was on Friday, July 12, 2013. I discussed the symptoms with Chris who said he would come by Monday, July 15, 2013, to check it out. Chris arrived during the scheduled time period and quickly diagnosed the problem. Unfortunately, the problem required the replacement of one of the small motors in the microwave. Chris said he would order the part and come back to finish the repair on Wednesday, July 17, 2013. Chris again arrived during the scheduled time period and quickly replaced the malfunctioning motor. Very quick and professional. Thank you!

Called Belair Appliance in the morning. They said repairman would arrive same day between 3:00pm and 5:00 pm. Repairman arrived at 4:30pm, diagnosed the leak and fixed the problem within 30 minutes. He was very professional and explained the problem, discussed the options and recommended a cost effective solution.. NO problems with the leaking hose since repaired.

They gave me an estimate on the phone before coming out and this is exactly what they charged for the repair. It was done quickly and efficiently.

Belair Appliance Repair was the third company I called from Angie's list. Chris was the only one that knew exactly what the problem was and proceeded to get the part before arriving at my home to fix the problem. He arrived within 60 minutes of my original call for assistance. He replaced the element in less than 15 minutes. I am very please at the outcome.

From start to finish, working with Chris was great. He worked with the parts I had bought to try to fix the problem my self, showed me what I was doing incorrectly and even unhooked the buzzer for the end of cycle signal on the dryer that had been driving me up the wall.

Called Chris at BelAir on Monday evening, he returned voicemail Tuesday morning. Described problem (washer would periodically stop mid-wash and I would need to open and drop lid for it to start again) and was able to get a 1:00-3:00 window for him to show up and do the work. He arrived at around 1:40 and had the switch replaced in about 15 minutes. His trip charge was $85, and it was another $35 for the part (which I compared to prices online and it was reasonable). I have ran the washing machine twice with no recurrence of the issue since the repair. He noted that it was warrantied 90 days parts and labor - I will update this review if the problem needs to be readdressed. Since the work was quick I asked him to take 5 minutes to look at our refrigerator ice maker, for which I described the problem and he told me the cause and the needed repair - since it is only a minor issue, I'll probably leave it alone, but if I decide to get it fixed, I'll give Chris a call.

We used Belair Appliance a few months ago for dishwasher repair. On this most recent call for the oven repair, we go the same technician, Chris. He was very prompt, courteous and professional. There were two problems with the oven. One was repaired and the other required a part he did not have. Overall the service was great and I would recommend Belair Appliance Repair.

Microwave "blew" up; I called Belair and got Chris. Made an appointment, he came, fixed temporarily, and will return with part.

Just called to get some information and a estimate on our electric oven. I did some research and found out the part needed but could not find anyone that carried it. I asked the person who answered the phone about if they could get the part and come and install it. He did not ask me much said no, if no part we cant get it either sorry. That was it, no suggestion, offer to help nothing. Not the kind of people I want working on my appliances.

I called Belair Appliance on a Friday afternoon around 3-4pm, they were able to schedule us for the very next day on a Saturday! I was shocked that they were able to fit us in so quickly. They charged $85 for coming out to the house (which includes the first 30 minutes of service/repair). They gave me a window of 5:00-5:30pm, and the technician showed up around 5:40pm. I didn't receive a call that he would be late, but I also felt it was close enough that I didn't really consider him late either. Once he got to our dishwasher, he had it diagnosed within 5 minutes. He told us what was wrong, what the part cost would replace, what would need to be done, and said he could fix it in the first half hour of labor which was already included. The best part was that he had the part already with him and could replace it right there on the spot! We gave him the go ahead, and he had everything working within the 30 minutes. We were able to wash our dishes that night and ever since! Yay! We would definitely recommend them, and if we need appliance repair in the future, we will definitely be calling them again!

The technician was very responsive and came out the same day. He fit into my work schedule which brought him to my house after hours. He checked the dryer and was able to fix it quickly. I had to pay his normal service call fee.

They were excellent and did all the tests first. They were quick and responsive. I compared them with others and they were definitely reasonably priced, in fact they were cheaper than some of the others. I would use them again because of the quality and response time.

I was able to obtain a quick repair appointment. The service person was on time, courteous, and solved the problem. The cost was as quoted at the time the appointment was made. If further repairs to this or other appliances are needed I will use this provider again.
