Description of Work: The GE Side by Side refrigerator freezer - the refrigerator door lower hinge had lost its bottom support and the door would stay open and would fly open. I checked and found that their where 6 parts for the whole hinge assembly and that there where 2 changes since the original refrigerator freezer was purchased. We contact Belair early on Veterans Day Holiday and they where working. I spoke with Chris, told him make and model and what I found out about the hinge assembly. He said that he knew the issue - believed he had or could get the part and said he would be to our house between 4:00 and 5:00 PM. Chris arrived at 5:10 PM and immediately went to work - he needed little time and had the part, fixed/replaced the entire hinge assembly (he said that replacing all the parts new was better then trying to replace new one or two of the six parts was not wise and doing the whole assembly guarantee a good fit and that another older part would not fail a short time after repair - I believe his expertise in this and the work done). He was in and out in about a half hour and it was a job well done.

Description of Work: I called Chris at Belair Appliance twice in one month. First time was when washing machine started making a lot of noise while agitating. Chris opened it up to find oil leaking and said the transmission was going. Time for a new one. He also replaced a breaker panel inside the refrigerator that I had ordered from GE website 3 years ago, but couldn't figure out how to replace on my own. Charged just the $85 for the initial service call. Second call was when gas oven stopped heating and I suspected the igniter needed to be replaced. Sure enough that was the problem. Call took no more than 20 minutes. Charge was $85 for initial service call and $55 for new part. Chris was very professional and did good work.

Description of Work: My washing machine was leaking water and I called for service. He was able to come within 2 days. He was punctual, polite and efficient. I would definitely recommend him.

Description of Work: My refrigerator had stopped working and when I called he told me how to check to make sure it was not a major repair. If it had been a major repair I would have just bought a new refrigerator. I did what he suggested and did not think it wasmajor. He came, and repaired the item witha part that he had on his truck.
