I called Scott at 1130an on a Saturday morning and asked him to rekey my home door locks. He was at my home at approximately 100 pm. He was professional and courteous and had the job done in about 45 minutes.

My call for service was returned promptly. He arrived much later than expected, but for me that was preferable to not coming at all. When he did arrive he examined what I wanted done. Originally I had wanted new locks, but he explained that re-keying them would save me some money. He worked methodically and took time to explain to my son what he was doing each step of the way. He even made copies of the new keys for me. Overall, I was very pleased with my service.

I called after 12 noon, hoping (but dare not expect) service could be provided the same day. It was. The provider did run a little later than anticipated, but he called me to let me know. He was very polite and professional. We have a large house and young children; I was very comfortable having him in our house and changing our locks. (Let's be honest here- we HAVE to trust a person who is making a key to our home!!) The work was completed quickly and thoroughly (he noticed a door that we had forgotten about! One on the second floor that led to a balcony that had been removed..) despite the heat that day. And the price was great! Bottom line: Highly recommend!

I called Scott at 1pm, by 6:45 he was at my house rekeying the locks. Took very little time, was friendly and courteous, and the new locks work better than the old. Would definitely use again and recommend to anyone.

We made an appointment to meet at our new house immediately after the closing. He was available at just the right time and showed up promptly. The job took a little over two hours. He was able to put the front door, door from the attached garage, and interior door to the basement on the same key. Then he put the two exterior garage door locks on one key. Best of all, he happened to have with him just the lock we needed for the basement sliding glass door, which was fortuitous. He had to adjust it a little to make it work, but he was quite adept. Everything works perfectly.

We called and received a quick response for an appointment. We even sent a picture before hand to show the type of lock on the door. Thirty minutes after our scheduled appointment, we wondered where they were and called to find out if they were still coming. We were told that our lock is discontinued, so they would search to see if other companies they work with had one that was comparable. We agreed that they would call us the next day, around the same time, to find out our options and a plan for the work. Needless to say, we never heard from them again. Not only did they not show up at the scheduled time, we had to call them to find out what happened, and they never followed up after that like they said they would. We were utterly disappointed. We ended up using another company who did follow through with services.

We were locked out of the house due to a broken lock. Made several calls to other companies and kept getting same "operator" and it got stranger. Called Scott Puckett around 6:15 pm and he said he be here in 45 minutes. He got here in 30 min. Very nice, easy going guy. He charged a fair price, did a good, fast job and got us in our house. We will definitely use him again and refer him to anyone who asks. Also, Scott says he doesn't usually come to our area but he did anyway.

Everything about this service call was excellent--including how sweet the workman was to my dog, who kept putting her nose into his tools. I would definitely use this company again.

Scott gave me an appointment the next day when I called to say my deadbolt on my front door was malfunctioning. He explained thoroughly what went wrong, and fixed it promptly. He's very professional and friendly. He's been here before and I would never bother with any other locksmith. Hope he stays in business as long as I need locks!

I contacted Scott Puckett because he was an Angie's List A-rated provider. From the first conversation I received value for that decision. Scott listened to my situation and then made recommendations of how I could save money on the hardware by looking at specific lock models at Home Depot and Lowe's and how we could address our security concerns by considering keypad locks that automatically lock after 30 seconds and which eliminate the need for keys. He also specifically recommended against double-cylinder deadbolts (the kind with keys on both sides) because quick exit in an emergency is more important that the additional security provided. He told us that the doors on homes built in the last 10 years have sheet plexiglass instead of conventional glass in the doors and plexiglass is very intrusion resistant. That information was very comforting. Scott arrived on time, was very polite, called me at work with a couple of relevant questions, and installed four keypad locks very efficiently. Scott charged a VERY reasonable price, and accepted the Angie's List 10% discount coupon!

Scott showed up on time and provided excellent and quick service to my old deadbolt lock that had broken and wouldn't unlock anymore. He had the door unlocked within minutes. The price was what I expected and he made sure I got my 10% off because I was an Angie's List Member. Definitely would call Scott out again!

Acutally, I was not present nor able to check the lock once completed. Therefore, temporarily relying on another person's ok and my warranty which Mr. Scott Puckett stated was one year. Mr. Puckett made special accommodations for me and followed instructions. He was a pleasant individual to communicate with. Wish I could give a detailed review. Called to have house re-keyed. I moved into house two months ago, and had not had a chance to re-key the doors. I did have a security system installed. Thank goodness. While away on holiday break, someone entered our house. The intruder may have used a key, since nothing was broken to enter the house. Our alarm system deterred the intruder from entering further than the doorway. We called ALS and they set up a time right after our return. the day after our return, they were on time, and efficient, very professional. We had questions as to wether we should have extra bars/locks.They indicated that it probably wasn't necessary. They gave their professional opinion on the security of the house, and felt the locks we had, along with re-keying was sufficient. They even gave us advice on how to deal with the doggy door, which was secure, but I had concerns. I hate those things! I gave them a B on price only because we told them that we were calling from Angie's List, but they did not take 10% off as indicated on the Angie's List page. Maybe we needed to print out the coupon, but usually, that's not the case. But, my house is secure, and their prices were reasonable. so, I don't feel cheated. So, they were trustworthy, and professional, timely, etc. So, no question, I would use them again.

Scott was able to provide a quick appointment and called ahead to confirm an early arrival on the property. We found that due to the manufacturer of the locks a simple change was not possible yet Scott provided a great explanation on the issue and a solution on the spot that allowed us to change both locksets and deadbolt units.

I called Accredited and spoke with Scott. He was very professional from the beginning, and I was surprised at how flexible he was with appointments (I called Monday afternoon and he was ready to come in the same evening). I settled for early Tuesday morning. I forgot my son had an assembly that morning, so when I called to postpone (for about an hour), he was happy to oblige and had no issue in coming slightly later (our final appt time was between 10 and 11am). He was a little late (about 11:30), but it wasn't anything outrageous. Upon arrival, he was very pleasant and friendly. I like when I'm able to view the process of certain specialists without feeling like I'm in the way. He was quite apt to showing me what he was doing and how he was doing it. He rekeyed the first lock with no problem... took him about 10 minutes. Then he had to change the lock for another door (which we didn't have a key for). I was certainly impressed with the process of impression (no pun intended). It was cool watching him figure out the shape of the key needed, but it definitely took longer than 10 minutes; I understood that, though, as the process is strictly precise. If you mess up, then you have to completely start over, which happened the first time, but he got it on the second try. All in all, I feel like the price was fair ($49 for the service call, $18 for rekey, $35 for impression, and a 10% discount for finding them on Angie's List). I didn't compare prices or anything since I just like to make a choice right away. I would recommend Accredited to anyone who needed lock services, due to their speed and courteousness.

Missed scheduled appointments for service on two different occasions. To make matters worse , when he did arrive to perform the work, he did not have locks that were requested which resulted in another trip/appoinment. Work was not finished because he did not show up for last scheduled appointment and at that point I was done with Accredited Locksmith Service. However, the locks that were installed appeear to be satisfactory so far.

My neighbor locked herself out of her house today (a Saturday) and her husband was out of town. She has limited English proficiency and didn't really know what to do. My husband tried to help her get in while I searched Angie's List for a locksmith. When I called, Scott quickly answered the call, quoted a price (extending the Angie's List discount to my neighbor), and said he could be to us in 30mins. He arrived quickly, was both personable & professional, and was done in just a few minutes. I was very happy & relieved he was able to come so fast.

Mr. Puckett was very thorough, working diligently from start to finish. Three exterior doors (top and bottom) had locks to be changed. Our pastor was impressed that he went behind and checked after himself to be sure that the work was done well. He seemed quite meticulous and courteous. His work was appreciated.
