Amazing experience!! From the start of our project VKB has been absolutely wonderful. Our designer, Calvin, really took time and thought out the best use of our space. He went through several designs until he used his creativity to design the perfect kitchen for us. From the start our project manager Jason was very good at communication and very nice to work with. Any questions or concerns were quickly answered. Him and the crew wore masks and made me feel very comfortable. His crew worked very hard and the head of the crew Ismar, was always willing to answer any tiny question I had with what I think (it's hard to tell with mask) a friendly smile on his face. They had great attention to detail, and worked hard to do a solid job. The crew finished ahead of schedule, and the result is nothing less than amazing. I would recommend VKB in a heartbeat.

VKB did a fantastic job from design (Calvin) to project management (Jason) to quality of work (Eric). The project started on time and was originally estimated to take 7 to 10 days but finished in 6 days on budget. We received daily updates from the PM Jason and Eric and his team were on time each day and very easy to work with. We could not be happier with the quality of work.

We used VKB to convert our ½ bath/powder room into a full bath with walk-in shower. This entailed moving our front door and expanding the front porch. Overall, we experienced a lack of attention to detail and a lack of responsiveness that allowed for lapses in quality and mistakes in construction. The workmanship is merely adequate. We do not recommend VKB.

VKB renovated our 40 year old master bathroom and we absolutely love it! With the professional and talented Designer, Calvin, the excellent workmanship of the installer, and the coordinated direction of the Project Manager, Jason -- the install went smoothly and was completed on time. VKB installed quality products and managed all the small details with ease. Our bathroom is beautiful and has brought our family great joy and happiness! Thank you VKB for your care and dedication you took to improve our quality of living in our home.

VKB just remodeled our hallway bath, and they did a great job! Despite being a little hard to get in touch with over the holidays we were able to arrange a time for a quote. Calvin, our designer, was on time and quick. He brought up a couple of options while we were reviewing the project that we hadn't considered yet, gave us a very reasonable estimate, made an appointment for us to meet him at the showroom in Columbia, and was gone in less than 45 minutes. No pressure at all, and we enjoyed his advice and personality. When we met Calvin at the showroom and he presented us with a 3D model of our new bathroom and picked out materials, carrying samples around the showroom to see how it would all look together. It was a very easy process, and he did a good job balancing his recommendations with our style choices. We signed the contract and had an estimated start date in less than 2 hours. Watching him poke in our selections into a PDF document was the only tedious part of the process, but the showroom was comfy and just fine. About 2 weeks later Calvin and our project manager Jason arrived for a walkthrough, and Jason verified that the contract matched our understanding of what they'd be doing. We also went over the things that we were on the hook to provide: paint and hardware for the hallway door. Jason also verified the location of our water cut-off valve, electric panel, and where they'd be able to wash paint brushes, etc. About a week and a half later Jason called with the start date. When that day arrived we met Juan and Wilson, who did the actual work on the bathroom. They put plastic and dropcloths down to protect our floors and cleaned up after themselves every day. Materials were delivered when needed and stored in our garage. Some cuts (wood, tile, etc.) were made there and out by our front porch, and they also did a great job working around the rain the plagued us a few days. We were surprised how fast they went and how well everything turned out. About 5 and a half working days until our bathroom was complete. Jason collected the remaining payments along the way, the first one having been made when we signed the contract at the showroom. As with every project, there were a couple of things that didn't go according to plan. We wanted to tile all the way up the wall around the bathtub but we found that the ceiling wasn't level and it would have turned out less than pretty, so went a little shorter than planned but ended up looking like it was meant to be that way from the beginning. There was a leak in the sink drain, so we called Jason and Juan came back the next day and took care of it. I had to clean up a few places where the paint from the baseboard moulding hit the tile and my OCD couldn't just let it go. BUT the bathroom turned out looking fantastic! VKB left the remaining tile, which we donated to a local Habitat for Humanity ReStore. We were really surprised by how well everything worked together, from the colors to the styles, to how nice everything looks now. Our kids say it's like walking into a hotel bathroom. It feels like we really got some high end components installed for a very reasonable price. In summary, we're going to use them again for our master bathroom.

We had a master bathroom completely gutted and remodeled. Sean designed the layout and Jason was the project manager. We were very impressed with the level of quality in everything from the initial design to the final result. The minor issues that did come up were resolved very thoroughly. Would highly recommend this company to anyone considering a major remodel project.

We were very pleased with VKB's work. We were looking for a full service shop with minimum effort on our part and VKB delivered. We had a visit from one of their reps followed by an hour in the store picking out the materials. The quality of the work was excellent and we plan to hire them again for our kitchen. The only complaint was the work dragged on quite a bit longer than the original estimate. For the next project we are going to ensure everything is ordered in advance so we don't get stuck waiting on materials.

I'm very pleased with my master bathroom remodel. Calvin Lee was my designer and very helpful guiding me through material selection. Jason, the project manager was great. He visited the worksite most days and called every evening to let me know what would happen next; and to address any questions or concerns. He really wanted me to be satisfied with the work being performed; I appreciate this. Walter and his crew arrived on time every morning, took precautions to protect the home from dust and foot traffic, and cleaned up every evening. I recommend VKB and would hire them again.

The whole experience was wonderful! Calvin Lee came to our home to measure the space and provided exactly what we asked for as our remodel design. Jason and his crew worked very hard to complete our kitchen as quickly as possible while doing excellent work. Christian always answered question and addressed concerns as the process went on. Jason followed up each evening to let us know what would happen next. They arrived on time each day worked full days. We got all new cabinets, flooring, countertops, lighting and paint. We couldn’t be happier with our new beautiful kitchen!

This was definitely a 5 star operation from the initial discussions to the finishing touches! For a major renovation and upgrade to our master bathroom we reviewed potential contractors and their customer comments. VKB stood out. Our VKB designer Sean clearly has artistic talent and lots of design experience. He patiently worked with us, showing us 3D design options as we considered alternative configurations and materials. When we were satisfied with the design, Sean transitioned us smoothly to the build phase, introducing Jason as our project manager and Walter as our crew chief. Sean personally familiarized Jason with the project, inviting us to share our thoughts and any concerns. During the renovation, Walter and his crew would carefully isolate the MBR work from the rest of the house, sealing off the room and path to the front door with plastic barriers and floor coverings every morning and remove them every evening. Everyone was polite and sensitive to our living space. Jason was responsive to our wishes to refine several design aspects as the work proceeded, and Walter and his crew smoothly made the alterations. After the main construction was completed Jason remained very attentive to our ‘punch list’ of remaining details and our questions until all had been resolved. Walter ensured very high-quality work down to the finest detail. All the work from design to completion was well within the timeframe we had hoped. In the end, we have a beautiful MBR well beyond our original expectations!

The project went well and better then i except it. The crew went above and beyond and done extra that was not in the contract and we are very happy of the results.

My wife and I had an excellent experience with VKB. They did everything they promised on-budget, and even finished earlier than expected in order to get us back into our kitchen by Thanksgiving. Sean designed a winning layout and was very helpful with making material selections. Jason was the project manager and he did an awesome job of keeping the work flowing and updating us on progress and timelines. He was literally always available for any questions or concerns we had. As far as the work crew, I can’t say enough good about Jose and his crew. They arrived early every morning but never knocked before their scheduled time. They took every precaution to protect the rest of the house from dust and always cleaned up in the evenings. For as fast and efficiently as they worked, the quality of craftsmanship was top notch. We’re still in awe of our new kitchen, and you’re ready for to take that step, we’d highly recommend VKB

Our three VKB bathrooms are PERFECT. The office staff is easy to work with and schedule appointments. Yucel Muslu came out to our house and created digital renderings of the bathrooms, incorporating all of the ideas I had and some of his own. He kept me fully informed of where he was in the design process. We then met with Yucel in his studio and picked out everything (the fixtures, tile, toilets) from their showroom. Prior to our meeting, Yucel had 3 or so fixture options he thought would look nice for each bathroom and we selected from there. If I had a design portfolio on HOUZZ, he would have utilized that as well but I did not. Yucel is an incredibly skilled designer and our bathrooms are BEAUTIFUL. Al Onur was our contractor and he kept an eye on our project, stopped by every so often and was always quickly available via text or phone. Elvis Aguilon was the one in charge of all projects at our house on a day to day basis and he is an incredibly skilled craftsman. His work is meticulous and the tile/grout are perfect throughout all 3 bathrooms. The two men who were in the house everyday were extremely clean and swept thoroughly at the end of each day. All of my wood floors were protected and they took great care to not damage walls when they were carrying in items. Any accidental damage they touched up and they even fixed an attic door that I broke prior to the project which was a nice surprise. Our project added a water closet in the master while eliminating the tub and making the shower enormous. Yucel was able to easily make design adjustments when I panicked that the water closet wouldn't be large enough; he was correct, the size he said would be fine is an excellent size. I would hire VKB again for our kitchen and for our two other bathrooms when they need to be redone. They were easy to work with, thorough and timely. I recommend VKB without hesitation to all of my friends and neighbors.

Completed an upgrade to our 40-year-old kitchen w VKB Kitchen & Bath. Calvin worked closely w us on the design to get small cabinet and counter space in our townhouse. Al was our PM for the demolition and build-out phases. Al had the challenge as PM to coordinate demolition, new flooring on 1st level, electrical changes, cabinet installs and new fixtures that we purchased. They installed new disposal and ceiling fixture at no charge. No change orders on project. No gaps on work sequence. Finished in half of the contracted days. Great company, designer and PM.

We are very happy with the remodel. Jason, the project manager, was great to work with. He called at least once a day to check on our satisfaction with the job and to answer any questions. Jason also visited the work site most days and we reviewed the work each time. Jason quickly responded to several concerns we had and solved the problems quickly. The job supervisor, Walter, was also did a great job. Like Jason, he was very responsive to our concerns and ensured that the quality of the work met our requirements. At least one workman came every day, often two. The work was completed quickly and they cleaned up after each work day. We highly recommend VKB kitchen and Bath.

We chose VKB to do our complete gut master bathroom renovation and were so happy with their work in terms of reliability, craftsmanship, and customer service that we hired them to renovate our hall bathroom as well. For both bathrooms we worked with Calvin as our designer and Jason as our project manager, and both of them went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy with the design, that the project ran smoothly and on time, and that the final product was exactly what we wanted. We wouldn't hesitate to use VKB again if we need any other work done on our home, and we have already begun recommending them to family and friends and will continue to do so. We are very pleased with our experience with VKB!

VKB just finished remodeling my master bathroom. Pricing was competitive. For us, the little things matter the most. For instance, VKB started our project with a review of a 3D computer model of our new bathroom so that we could see what our bathroom would look like. When the project started, they showed up for work on time every day and stayed late so that they could clean up the work area to make it as least inconvenient for us as possible. We received daily updates from our project manager regarding progress and the schedule of activities for the next day. One negative is that they are very busy. So, getting a scheduled start date was a bit of a challenge. But once, they started, the work completed quickly. Very happy with the end results. They did a great job. We would hire them again.

We used VKB for a complete bathroom makeover based on positive reviews online and found out how good they really are! This company knows how to do customer service and makes your home more beautiful! Junior was our designer and eased us through the design process. This was our first major renovation and Junior explained each step and what to expect. Jason Ali, project manager, was constantly coordinating, checking and communicating as the work unfolded. And to our delight, Pedro, crew leader, Ricardo, and Jose turned out to be our dream construction team. They were sensitive, polite, and skilled as they worked so hard each day. They kept things as neat as they could and without fail, cleaned up well each day. The project yielded some small problems and challenges but each was identified and solved. To begin, I want to say that my wife and I were extremely satisfied with the results of the work VKB did for us. Here are a few reasons why: 1. We initially met with our designer, Mr. Junior Wizart and his associate Sharon, to discuss the work we wanted done. Junior visited our home and walked thru and listened to what we wanted. He provided several suggestions and left to formulate their proposal. We met again the following week and Junior and Sharon walked us thru their design proposal which we were very happy with. We made a down payment and 2. Over the following several weeks, we interacted regularly with Junior and Sharon regarding the details of and the selections for each bathroom. We made a down payment on the May 28, 2019 and signed the contract on 5 June which started the ball rolling. 3. Over the next few weeks we made detailed selections for showers, faucets, floors walls, paint, etc. In some cases, our detailed selections exceeded the budget that was allowed in our signed contract, so a mod was required and adjustments made. All the changes were very easy to implement, and were completed quickly. 4. We had a walk thru in early Jul with the Project Manger, Mr. Jason Freeman, and Mr. Wizart to confirm all selections and installation plans. It was quite thorough and painless. 5. Work began on 7 Jul promptly and the Team Lead, Walter, and his team began the demo. We have an electronic door lock and gave the team their own code for the duration of the project. For 95% of the project, they worked without our oversight. They began after we left for work, and would remain on site until one of us returned from work to show us the results of the day. 6. Every day until the job was completed on August 14, the VKB crew was here working. They were very professional and very thorough. They alerted us when they needed decisions made (height of shower head, placement of body washers, etc. They also asked if they could work on a Saturday to maintain their schedule. 7. Almost every day Jason, our project manager, checked it to see if all was going well and if we had any issues. We had to make several minor adjustments to the design plan, and when we did, it was completed painlessly. The team kept the walkway into the house covered and cleaned up daily. Trash was picked up regularly and there was no need to a dumpster. 8. We were so happy with the performance of the bathroom work, that we hired VKB to renovate our kitchen backsplash. Junior helped pick out the colors and style of tile, and Jason's team did the installation in two days. 9. The entire 3.5 bath renovation work was completed and the final payment made on August 14th. We we so pleased with the work VKB performed for us that we hired them to renovate our basement that was damaged severely due to a failed sump pump and the resulting water backup.

We were repeat customers with VKB (master bath remodel a couple of years ago). We redid our two spare bathrooms and a powder room this time. The pros: VKB’s construction side is the reason to choose them! They do a Jason, the project manager, did an excellent job. He kept in constant communication with us, and addressed all of our needs and emerging questions about the project. Walter, the crew leader is fantastic! He managed every aspect of the project while Jason was on vacation and even had excellent ideas and suggestions for the project. He went above and beyond. Jason and Walter are the reasons to go to VKB. The cons: The one major negative is that Sean, our designer, was completely unavailable. The fixtures he suggested, for the most part had 2-3 star reviews on most vendor’s sites. When we asked him to send us some options that were better rated, he basically told us to choose whatever we liked, he could not provide any additional help. He was barely involved in any of the selections, was very slow to respond (often taking more than 10 days to respond to emails), and did not keep on top of our selection requests. Some of our selections were not noted. The bottom line: Once we had made the selections, and all the materials were ordered, Jason and Walter took over, and from then on, it was smooth sailing! In short, the construction crew at VKB is fantastic, and they are definitely worth the money. I highly recommend VKB to my friends. 5 stars for construction crew, 1-2 stars for the design side.

Outstanding. The VKB crew was great. Jason and Walter did a great job to make sure we were happy. I highly recommend them.

The kitchen turned out absolutely stunning. The construction crew finished the job in 14 workdays within a 3-week time span (no work on weekends & July 4th). Only one day of work had to be canceled due to torrential rains. Daily work hours varied depending on what needed to be done on a particular day, but typical hours were from 9 - 9:30 to 3:30 - 4:30. The number of workers on a given day could vary from one person (painting) up to four (demo and final stages), and they worked almost ceaselessly from arrival until departure. Every morning they first laid down canvas drop clothes from front door to kitchen, vacuumed frequently throughout the day as they worked, and vacuumed again at at quitting time. The project manager (Jason) and crew chief (Henry) were always professional and courteous. We could call Jason at any time with questions; he stopped by most days to check on progress and touch base with us. If he couldn't stop by, he called. Henry is exceptionally skilled (top-notch electrical work) and efficiently manages his crew. We would inspect their work after the crew left each day, and if we had any questions or concerns, we could tell Henry the next day and he would immediately address the issue (always minor stuff). The crew had to deal with a 45-year old kitchen that was by no means square, but the new kitchen's cabinets, counters and appliances are perfectly level. Great job!

I worked with Junior and Sharon to design the plan and pick out materials. The design was a bit unconventional and required moving walls, piping and rerouting plumbing and electrical to keep a tub and add a double vanity. Junior and Sharon were professional, responsive and very enjoyable to work with. Their connections with tile, paint and supplies made selecting the products easy and fun, as well. They have a great eye for detail and design! Junior had stated it would take 6 to 8 weeks to complete my project. As most projects have issues that come up, I anticipated it would take longer. I was more than pleasantly surprised when the job completed in just 5 weeks, including a week "off" due to my vacation and waiting on a backorder. Junior's estimation was right on the money! Finishing the job earlier than expected is amazing. Once the project began, Jason, the general contractor, gave daily updates by phone in the evening and came to the job nearly every day to handle the project. Jason is professional, prompt in responding and easy to work with. On site, Henry, the crew leader, was also very professional, pleasant to work with and very responsive to the needs of his workers, the project and my requests. The entire crew was just as professional and pleasant to work with. Each day, they came promptly, set up, polite to each other, my family and home, worked efficiently and professionally, then cleaned up each evening before leaving. The entire staff of VKB Kitchen and Bath were amazing to work with. But even more to the point, their workmanship was top notch. Every detail was taken care of from paint matching, molding work, drywall and finish work, material setting, care of materials and the finished project turned out better than I had expected. I've worked with many contractors over the years. I recommend few to others and do not write reviews for most. That is not the case with VKB Kitchen and Bath. I recommend them for any kitchen and bath job you may need done for your home. From the moment you step in to work with the designers to the final completion certification, you will find that the staff and crew are nothing short of excellent. (Photos attached. It went very well...finished early, did not go over budget. Several issues arose during the project but each was quickly addressed and corrected. They were responsive, professional and great to work with. This was my second project with VKB....did a complete bathroom renovation then the kitchen. I would not hesitate to recommend them because they did a great job, at a great price, with Project Manager Jason on top of everything throughout the job. He was very conscientious and worked hard to make sure I was pleased with the outcome.
