We solicited 4 bids from different roofing companies and ReNew Home Designs offered the most competitive bid. They offered price matching which was a nice surprise! Their financing options were also very competitive, we ended up financing our project through them. Jared was the rep that came out to give us our quote, he was very knowledgeable and went above and beyond. Unlike 2 other companies that came out, Jared went into both of our attics to assess whether we would need any of the wood sheets replaced. While he was up there, he made his way through the insulation to replace our burned-out light bulbs. He even helped us push our vehicle out of the garage so that he could gain access to our garage attic, and then he pushed it back in. He was just a genuine person, he did not feel “salesy” like the other reps that came out. The company overall was very responsive and kept us posted on any delays that were caused by inclement weather. The evening before installation they called us with a weather update and told us what time to expect the workers to arrive. On installation day 6-7 men arrived at exactly 8:30 and went to work non-stop until about 3:00 pm. They spread tarp around the entire perimeter of our home ensuring that they would catch all nails & debris from the removal of our old roof. Everyone was very respectful and upbeat, they seemed to be a great team. From the time of our estimate to the completion of the project, only 2 weeks passed. This is probably unusually fast, but given that we did our roof in January the company was very flexible with our immediate needs. When I had questions, the other companies had me chase them down for answers. ReNew Home Designs was prompt to respond from the beginning to the end. That to me is huge, I doubt that I’ll have issues with my new roof, but if I do, at least I know that I can get a hold of them. Following installation, we received a call from the VP, Justin, to ensure we were satisfied. We recommend ReNew Home Designs for your roofing needs. We will eventually need new windows for our home, ReNew will definitely be the first call that we make.

We entertained several quotes for the replacement of our 22 year old roof. ReNew matched best price and had superior materials. The crew showed up at 7:45 am and by 3 pm we had a beautiful new roof and all clean-up was complete.

Justin came out to our home and explained the roof options,set up our payment plan and got scheduled our installation. The installers came out about a week later and did the job in a day. The men were so quiet as they went about their work and left the outside of our property spotless. Did a great job!

We ended up finding the company through a promotional event they where at. We won a 50$ gift card for free, as long as we got a free estimate to have some work done from them. We needed to get some quotes anyways for some windows and our sliding glass door as they where in bad shape, so it was a win, win for us. The Vice President of the company, personally came out, to give us our quote, because we where so far away and because it was so late in the day (It helped that he also like meeting new customers when he could). He was very friendly, and very knowledgeable about what was going on. He was at our house for about an hour and a half, going over everything we asked, and helped us find a solution to our window problem at an affordable cost to us. We where even able to get in on a special deal of buy two get one free for windows, and special financing as well. About 2 weeks (which was the time agreed on) after signing the contract, a man came out and measured got all the measurements for the windows and door. He was professional, and prompt. He did what he needed to and was out, after answering all of our questions. It was about a month and a half after that, that the windows and door we ordered where done, and we scheduled a time for the installation team to come out and install the new windows and door. Again, they where prompt, clean, and fast with getting all of the windows installed and door installed. They only ran into one complication, where one of the windows they picked up for our house, was the wrong one. So someone from the shop grabbed the correct windows and drove it up to our house to meet up with the installation team, so that all of the work could be finished on the same day. It took them about 10 hours in total to install five windows, a bow window, and a sliding glass door. There was nothing left behind, nothing to clean up, and we got amazing new windows and door to look at. Again after answering our questions, they wrapped the rest of the work up, and left. We had a great time using this company, and would use them again, if needed.

Outstanding job. Folks showed up on time and went to work immediately. Folks were friendly and professional. Answered all my questions and cleaned up ensure nothing was left behind.

In November 2016, we hired ReNew Home Designs to replace our 20 year-old roof, and we couldn't be happier with our decision. From sales pitch to installation and follow-up, their team of professionals made the entire process a positive one for us. Gary spent over 3 hours with us going over our options and pricing, and showed a true interest in our situation and roofing needs. The 3hr sales pitch was honestly a little overkill as it could have probably be done in 90 minutes, and left us tired and hungry for dinner....BUT Gary was extremely thorough and was able to offer us some great pricing, which we appreciated. ReNew is top rated on Angie's List, BBB, has numerous certifications, and doesn't use subcontractors, which we especially liked. We were ultimately sold by their Lifetime Warranty on the products AND labor! Most companies offer Lifetime on their product, with shorter labor warranties, but because ReNew is certified as a GAF Master Elite contractor, their work/labor is also covered by GAF. That means that even if for some unforeseen reason ReNew goes out of business in 15 years, all aspects of your roof will still be covered. And the warranty transfers to new owners if you decide to sell your home, only adding to the home's resale value. A definite plus in our minds. After signing for the new roof, we received numerous phone calls from ReNew about convenient scheduling for us, as well as a personal call from the company's Vice President, Justin, thanking us for choosing ReNew. Excellent customer service all around. They delivered the roofing materials the night before, and on the day of installation a team of at least 10 guys showed up and installed our full roof in under 8 hours. They def knew what they were doing and worked nonstop, carefully setting up tarps all over the house to protect it from any debris being thrown on the ground. Additionally, they used a huge magnet roller to pick up any excess nails when they were done, which we appreciated since we have two dogs who we didn't want getting hurt. Following installation, we received another call from Justin to ensure we were happy with everything. We highly recommend ReNew Home Designs for your roofing needs!

Our initial consultation with Jared was very detailed and at first I had a good feeling about the company. However, two things that night should have alerted me to the problems to come: First, in his "education/we're a great company" discussion, he said a homeowner should never sign a contract without getting multiple quotes and without checking references (a long list of which he provided). But then he went into salesman mode and REALLY put the pressure on, including pointing out a substantial discount only applicable to those who sign the contract AT the initial consultation, thus preventing us from getting other bids or even really checking references. However, we (regrettably) relented and did sign a contract 10/20/14. Work was scheduled to be done somewhere between 11/20/14 and 12/20/14 with Renew handling the HOA approval. Nothing was submitted to the HOA until 11/10/14, and ultimately, the roof was installed 12/11/14. They push to get it done in one day (which would normally be much appreciated), but since it was so late in the year, it was getting dark by 5pm and they finished around 6pm. We were told (and I have seen this mentioned in other positive reviews) that either Jared or another supervising contractor would monitor the installation - whether that happened I cannot say as I had to work. However, we were also promised a thorough inspection of the finished installation and were told that the workers would not leave the site until we were satisfied. Fulfilling this promise was virtually impossible since it was fully dark outside when the job was done. Jared did explain one section that had to be handled specially, which was appreciated, but no mention was made of anyone returning in the day time to inspect everything and verify they had cleaned up the jobsite. The next day after work, (mind you it was nearly dark), I noticed some debris in the side yard. I picked up a number of nails, old shingle fragments, and metal shards - all from a small area. That weekend I went out and spent at least an hour cleaning up the yard - I found countless nails (including many in the driveway), more large pieces of shingle, plastic bag packaging from the materials (some tangled in a tree and one snagged on a bush), and, perhaps worst of all, numerous cigarette butts and food wrappers around the tree about 10 feet from the house. (pictures attached) I contacted Jared about this, and he agreed to come out himself to make sure the job site was cleaned up to their normal standards which, by all accounts, seem to be high. However, the day after his visit, it took only minutes for me to gather another handful of nails and scraps. At that point, I wasn't having much luck communicating with Jared via email - he would only call despite my clearly stated preference toward emails (I prefer to have things documented - it is too easy to forget details of what was said in a phone call). Finally, I just gave up trying to get anywhere with the issue. I do feel that the roof installed by Jared's team looks very nice (1 picture attached), and the price was not outrageous. However, my general experience with Jared was frankly stressful. I don't want to misrepresent him - he does seem to be a genuinely nice guy. I think this job just kind of fell short of their usual customer commitment. I hate writing negative reviews, which is why I waited SO long to finally type this up. I hope, and believe, that our experience is NOT the norm for this company; that said, I would never consider them for future projects. My advice to anyone considering hiring Renew Home Designs is this: get EVERYTHING in writing. If you are seeking multiple quotes, get those FIRST because Renew will pressure you to sign on the spot. If you need HOA approval, handle it yourself. If you feel pressured or rushed to sign a contract, walk away.

I was informed every step of the way when to expect contractors and supplies. They were quick and efficient and I would not hesitate to do business again with them.

Knew we needed a new roof soon. Husband had installed our previous roof many years ago. Figured we'd listen to the sales pitch then get other quotes before making a decision. I'd done some research & was pretty sure ReNew was a good company. They'd also done a couple other roofs in our neighborhood with positive results. After spending an hour or so with Justin we decided to bite the bullet & sign with ReNew. No pressure, just felt it was not worth our time & effort to look any further. Price seemed fair & Justin addressed all our concerns & questions. So glad we did as it was a pleasure doing business with everyone involved. Taffy was pleasant, helpful & right on top of scheduling our delivery & installation. Very impressed with Jose & his crew who were all courteous, conscientious & efficient. Great clean up, too. Highly recommend!

Although it cost more than I had originally anticipated (husband replaced last roof 15 years ago), we feel it was well worth it. From start to finish it was a pleasure doing business with everyone involved at ReNew. Justin took the time to address all our concerns & questions. EXCELLENT!!! THE PITCH – Let me begin by stating the OBVIOUS – no one likes or wants to replace a ROOF. The cost is ridiculous and the last thing anyone wants to do is give a couple of thousands of dollars to replace a roof let alone listen to the sales pitch to pay for a cost that could be spent elsewhere…like a vacation sipping on a margarita. We have been comparison pricing the cost of roofs from various companies for a considerable amount of time and Justin comes in and greets us with such a personable but truly genuine approach that it basically drew us in! We are extremely busy people and at our age time is something of value that you dish out in small doses especially when it comes to someone that is a stranger. My husband is really good with construction so his interest was more about the product and purchasing the material and replacing the roof himself. We really had NO interest in signing a contract with any company let alone this company and paying the cost for material and labor when he had every intention of doing it himself since he comes from home improvement background. Justin was patient didn’t strong-arm us or attempt to play the here’s the price for 24 hours and after the costs is just as ridiculous but an honest approach – this is what I can do and how can I earn your business. THE PROCESS – The materials were delivered the evening before and the Renew demo team had a very early start (7 am) and they were 5 minutes early ready to remove the old shingles from our roof. Very business oriented, no lollygagging or long breaks but about the business. Made one request and that was the electrical outlet and after a couple of hours my husband, returning home from work, was amazed at the progress especially since we had two layers of shingles and we have an intricate roof pattern. Babe the ultimate Mr. Do-It-Himself admitted that the job was too demanding and he wouldn’t have been able to complete the job even with his siblings that agreed to help. Once the old shingles were removed the second Renew construction team stepped in and it sounded like a rhythm with each hit of the nail gun. The job was 95% completed by the end of the day (7 pm) but the team had to return due to additional material required for the chimney so they return first thing the next morning and an hour later they were done and they cleaned everything so beautifully you would have never known or been aware of the demolition and construction that had taking place 24 hour earlier. THE RESULTS – Okay let me begin by saying I’m not attempting to be bias but our roof STANDS out! Simply BEAUTIFUL! So much so a couple of our neighbors stopped by our home during construction and scheduled appointments with Renew – I mean they reached out to Renew not the other way around. They have seen work from other roofing companies but Renew has the consummate and complete package. They are comparable to the top roofing companies within our State but a heck of a lot CHEAPER! They have a great roofing system and the people that make the teams are respectful and professional. We have folks that are trying to garner business for various home improvement projects and they even notice our beautifully constructed roof! I now drive down my street looking at roofs and when I turn into my driveway I am so happy that I took the time to meet Justin. Try Renew and as Justin predicted to me and my hubby…you will not be DISAPPOINTED…they ABSOLUTELY ROCK!

This company was very professional, and I would highly recommend them. They kept in contact with me with everything they were doing, made sure that the supplies were dropped off prior to working on my roof, and finished in a amazing amount of time. They even make sure they take a magnet to your yard and pick up any nails or metal pieces laying around.

The job was professionally done and all conditions in the contract was meet. Highly recommended and I will use again.

I just had Renew replace the shingles on my roof. This project was not on the list of summer things to do. I met with the rep because I knew in the next couple of years, my roof would need to be replaced. Justin the sales rep was very knowledgeable and I could say I completed a short course in roof replacement. But for what a roof costs, I wanted as much info as possible. It is a great company, frequently communicating before and after the work, willing to work on financing terms, excellent workmanship. My encounter was random as I meet a sales person walking through my neighborhood but so happy I worked with this company. I would highly recommend them for future work.

ReNew replaced our roof which was over 25 years old with new shingles that carry a 50 year materials and labor warranty. The sales representative, office personnel, and work crew were all very professional and courteous. The materials arrived as scheduled and the work crew was on time. They stayed until the job was completed, including a good effort at cleaning up all the debris that came off the roof (10 hours). While we have found a few nails that were missed by the crew's magnet, we are happy with our new roof. It looks great.

The entire process from initial contact to the follow-up after the new roof installation was complete went extremely well. The project was delayed due to several days of extremely hot weather. I was promptly notified each time there was a delay so the disruption to my schedule was minimized, The workers did a thorough cleanup when they were done. My new roof looks great.

Service was great, everyone was great, they were on time, clean up was great, no nails or trash on ground. Justin was so good he called check to see how everything was going, after job was completed he called and asked if we were satisfied. Justin and Geary was very professional.

A great buying experience with no pressure. They left the yard and surroundings complete cleaned up.

They were responsive, communicative, professional, and did beautiful work. We, along with the homeowner, were very pleased with their service and highly recommend them as a reputable, quality roofer. In fact, we're already scheduled for a second job, in partnership with ReNew and look forward to working with them in the future.

I am very please with the whole process. The workmen arrived on time, there were enough of them to keep the process moving along. I knew some of the info before the initial visit and Justin didn't repeat or push any thing on me. Mid-day the communications fell a little short but all was great after all. Thank you Justin for your information about the roof and Jared for visiting my home and relieving my concerns. I love my roof design, product and color. A great company to work with.

My elderly mother wanted to purchase new windows for her home. The provider came out and presented to us their product for window installations. He took initial measurements and provided a quote. We agreed on the price and he stated that it would take 8-10 weeks to complete the process. He mentioned that the window manufacturer would be coming out to get exact measurements. He emailed the agreement with the break out of each window and total cost. I noticed the document was missing a window and emailed him back. He didn't respond right away so I texted him the next day. He did respond to the text and said no problem and that he would add the additional window and send an updated agreement. Well, he never did. The window manufacturer came out about four weeks later and took exact measurements. It has now been over 12 weeks since the initial contact and I have not recieived any communication on the status of our window order. I contacted the provider in mid January and was told someone would call me back. No one ever did. I contacted the window manufacturer on January 28th and was told that they had not even started to make the windows even though it had already been over 12 weeks out since the initial order and over four weeks since the manufacturer took the exact measurements. I contacted the provider (the Vice President and the owner) by email on January 28th. No response. I contacted the Vice President again on January 28th by text. Again no response. Here it is February and no windows, no update or status. NOTHING! This level of service is totally unprofessional as there has been no explanation at all for the delay or lack of response.

They were very professional in the consultation and did a great job explaining how roofs work. They completed the roof in one day but had to return because one of the shingles was sticking up. They were very responsive in taking care of that issue. They did not do the best job cleaning up all the nails on the first pass but they did come back and finish cleaning.

TOP NOTCH. Bottom line, I can not over state how pleased we are with our new roof. Jared and his crew did a top notch job. I can say this now, but I knew I was going with Renew Home Designs after our initial meeting. I was up front that my wife would not be available for the sales call. I am not a fan of those companies that will not meet with you unless your spouse is present. We have 3 small children, we don't have 60-90 minutes of uninterrupted time. Needless to say, Jared was very respectful of this. He was very open and willing to answer my questions, and I was comfortable in his knowledge of the product and attention to detail. He and his installers are well certified, and the warranty on the work is exceptional. ABOVE and BEYOND. His crew arrived on time the day of the install. They were respectful of my family's coming and going, and you could tell right away that they have been doing this together for a long time. They had one person dedicated to the clean up of materials through the entire day. Jared was on site periodically to answer any questions I had and to inspect the completed projected. His crew even offered to help with replacing the fascia under one of our windows. I had the material, I just hadn't replaced it yet. When the roof was completed, Jared and I did a final check to make sure everything was up to par. This is a great looking roof. If I were doing this again I would do one thing different. I would have mowed the day before. It is so much easier the magnet to pick up the nails in shorter grass. I probably made more work for his guys because my grass was too long. This is not a criticism, just a lesson learned I wanted to share. I WOULD DEFINITELY USE THEM AGAIN. If you care about your home, and you need a new roof, you are doing yourself a disservice by not meeting with the Renew Home Designs team. you will not be disappointed. IN fact, we are working with Jared on another project to replace a sliding glass patio door.

We worked closely with Jared and he explained the how's and why's of a complete roofing system. As I don't want to be bothered with replacing the roof in 5 or 10 or 15 years, we went the 50-year roof system. The work began and was completed on the scheduled day. The old roofing material was removed, cleaned up (on roof and ground) and hauled away. Fortunately only a couple of pieces of wood under the old roof needed to be replaced. The new roofing system was then installed. We've had some pretty decent rain since installation and we've had no leaks or issues. We are quite happy with the work that was done on the roof and look forward to many years of a nice looking roof and no issues with the roof.

I emailed the provider on 8/14/14 and it has been almost 1 month and I have yet to hear from them.
