Outstandingly good job

Peter responded to our email in one business day, came over to evaluate the work within two, and scheduled the work for 1.5 weeks after we accepted the proposal. He arrived on-time, got right to work, and finished the work in a surprisingly quick 5 hours. He even went out of his way to patch and prime two small holes that were near the closet opening. After the work was completed my partner said "oh, so he didn't have to drywall?" Of course, he did have to drywall, but the work was of such fine quality that it was impossible to tell what was new. Peter was extremely pleasant throughout the process, and even suggested some tips for future projects. We we're so impressed with the work, that I contacted Peter a week later to perform some drywall repair after a recent leak.

Peter is very prompt to return my call, comes down in a very reasonable amount of time, and is very trustworthy. He does a very good job with whatever he is fixing. I've been using him for 20 years. He is very professional and he is the guy that I call when I need something done.

We dealt with only one man from start to finish. He scheduled us for about 10 days forward, arrived on schedule, and completed in one full day. Did a very good job and was professional and clean throughout. This was the second time we used his services and once again were very pleased.

When I first was looking for a contractor, Peter was the first to get back to me with a phone call to schedule an estimate, and gave us the estimate within 2 days of coming to our home. He was able to schedule the actual home improvement within a couple of weeks from the estimate (which was about the same time another company said they could make it in to even give us an estimate). Peter arrived on time and was very professional. He did an excellent job with boxing off the stairwell; it looks like it was always meant to be boxed off and drywalled. He even cleaned our vacuum cleaner!! He also answered some questions I had about fixing up other areas of my house; giving me advice on how I could do projects myself, which will save me money. I appreciated Peter's professionalism and quality work and would definitley recommend him to a friend. Another note about price; we had another contractor give us an estimate for the same job; their estimate was $700 higher than Peter's. I'm so glad we went with Peter. We got a better price and the quality was excellent.

Excellent experience. Peter responded very quickly to my request for an estimate. He showed up when he said he would and did an excellent job installing my shutters. He made a point of checking with me during the installation process to make sure everything was done to my satisfaction. I was very satisfied with Peter's work and would definitely hire him again.

He did a great job. He charged by the hour. To me that seemed expensive. If that's what everyone is charging then it is expensive but standard. I would say his price was moderate. The quality of work was excellent. I would consider using him in the future.

He has always done excellent work, gives quick estimates, and he is very honest, intelligent and dependable. He is versatile and knows how to fix a huge variety of things very efficiently, quickly and well. I have left him the key to do repairs when I am not here, with no worries.

He does anything for me that has to do with drywall repair, screen repair when I had squirrels getting in, and getting my rental property ready for a new tenant, for which he had to work on the toilets, doors, yard clean-up, and various other handyman type work. He does a really nice job on everything, and he is extremely honest. I feel perfectly comfortable giving him a key and letting him work without me there. He is very personable and professional, and I have been very happy with him.

Peter returned our email query rapidly (next day) and made an appointment for the estimate. He arrived promptly and inspected the job thoroughly. He then wrote up invoices for two scenarios (one for a cosmetic repair and one for thorough repair). We opted for the more thorough repair and made an appointment for the work to be completed on Dec. 31. He arrived on time and continued to work until the job was done, despite cold and windy weather. While doing the work, he found that one board was not damaged and only needed repainting. He lowered the invoice amount $50 to reflect this. He cleaned up the job site. The job looked very good. Peter is a highly professional and responsible handyman and I would hire him again and recommend him to my friends.
