They did the work. There were some problems with scheduling here and there. Other than that, they were fantastic. Their price was very, very up there. I didn't have a choice. They were high.

He was very good. Actually, he was a little bit late coming to the appointment and he even offered to do it for free, if we wanted. But, we said, "Hey, no, you're here. Let's go ahead and do it." So, he checked the whole house for mold and gave us his honest opinion that he didn't think we had any. He was pretty thorough. He looked just about everywhere in the house and talked us through each area that we were looking at. I thought he was very good.

The technician was very knowledgable and professional. I would use this company again.

Jon is a rare breed. He came out and looked at my rental property after a toilet leak. Gave me solid advise on what was needed and not needed. I work as a professional contractor myself (unrelated trade). I deal with other contractors all day and I can say that beyond any doubt Jon is outstanding. He did not try to sell me anything I didn't need or use any high pressure tactics. He operates at a high moral level, which unfortunately is very rare. Hopefully I do not have any mold issues in my future, but if I do I am assured that I know who to call.

Excellent, identified source quickly

MoldGone showed up on time and were very professional. They did a comprehensive mold inspection of the house. Some mold was identified in our crawl space. MoldGone gave a quote to lay down a vapor barrier, install new insulation, and clean our air ducts. They seemed very knowledgeable and were not pushy at all and gave us time to evaluate what we wanted done. In the end we decided to do a different direction and do a complete crawl space encapsulation with another company.

Came and did an evaluation of our condo for humidity. Took readings and evaluated some topical mold that was found. Tested the moisture of the walls for any possible damage.

They were wonderful. Prompt and courteous.

lMoldGone did an extensive search to find the cause of a musty smell from inside my wall. We had already had the roof checked for leaks but they checked again, checked pipes in the area, checked all possible causes. In the end very little was found but it was not for lack of effort on their part. They treated the small area that had been exposed to water at some point and did a very nice repair job of all the areas they had cut into the walls. Super nice team. They did discount my original quote since they did not find anything major to repair.

The mold inspection went very well. It was mostly a visual inspection but moisture readings were also taken from the wall. The whole process took about 25 minutes. The representative was very knowledgeable and did a great job explaining the remediation process. It was confirmed that we had a mold issue and we were provided an estimate. We are currently in the process of scheduling the remediation with MoldGone.

Jon was thorough, professional and honest. He explained the conditions under which mold would grow and thrive in a residence and gave me some valuable mold prevention information. Fortunately, he concluded that my home was healthy with no mold problem.

Fantastic job. Even in the initial consultation, you could tell they were thorough and not trying to inflate their job/price. They thought the mold was isolated to one wall and not spread and quoted the job that way. They were right, it was just the 1 wall that was affected. They took down the wall and removed all the material down to the studs. Treated the whole area with a chemical to keep mold from coming back including other walls of the shower that did not have any mold to make sure nothing came back. I was rather impressed that they left both rooms dust free and clean. I gave both rooms a once-over cleaning, but didn't pick up much dirt. Was very comfortable that the mold spores did not make it anywhere else in the house. The contractors that came afterwards to rebuild the wall commented on the nice job they did and condition they left the studs and corners of the unaffected walls. I would highly recommend MoldGone if you're having a mold issue.

The service was scheduled, delivered and followed up appropriately. Overall I was most relieved that he recommended a simple solution to what is not a significant mold problem - and it worked without further expense. I read other reviews of this service provider indicating that they weren't out to take you for a ride - and they are not. Two thumbs up if you want an honest appraisal of a simple mold problem.

IThe appt went well. The young man that came to our home was on time, polite, knowledgeable. He made good recommendations. There was no further charge for the iinformation and advice he gave me. The entire appt took about 20mins. I would use them again in the event I have any other water damage.

Mike did the initial inspection and provided and provided a detailed estimate which included a lot more work than had been proposed by another company but at a much lower cost. The Moldgone crew arrived on schedule for the work and were very acommodating to our every need. They were very professional and completed the work on time with outstanding results. We were very satusfied with the "new" basement" when the work was complete. This is a very professional company and I would highly recommend it.

It was fine. He came pretty quickly. He was okay. He pretty much walked through I thought it would be more than what it was. He didn't walk through and take a look like inspection. I thought they would test off or get air quality tests for molds. They did a visual inspection. Overall, he did explain what he saw. He was okay. I would probably give him 4 stars. It was a visual inspection for 15 minutes. I would use them and I would recommend them. The guy was very knowledgeable. He just did his job. He did a great job of explaining what he did. I would use them again if I had mold issues.

Jon arrived for the mold litigation estimate on time. We had just purchased the home and only discovered the mold problem after items were removed from the basement. The estimate from MoldGone LLC was the second estimate we were getting. Jon was thorough in reviewing the area and took time to explain that the problem was actually minor and in explaining that it was nothing that we could not handle repairing ourselves. He made repair recommendations and provided the names of the products that I needed to use and of the locations of the places for purchasing the products (not through his company or affiliated). He also provided a written receipt of the findings and recommendations. As I mentioned, I had another estimate from another company previous to the estimate from MoldGone LLC. The other company had given a much different picture. They had stated that we needed $1,200 worth of minimum mitigating work. This other company representative stated during the estimate that they were going to wash the wall, spray it with chemicals and we would need to hire them later for special paint treatment if we wanted to go that route (to avert future mold growth). In addition, for a small section of mold they found behind a basement refrigerator, the company wanted to cut out a large section of the wall and spray the area with chemicals. We would have had to replace that section of wall. When we asked how much it would be for them to do everything, including the painting and wall repairs, the estimate went over $2,500.00 I cannot speak enough about the honestly of Jon and the company. His honesty saved us thousands of dollars as I was able to follow his recommendations and easily do the work myself. Based on my personal experience, I wholeheartedly recommend MoldGone LLC. They are exceptional in their professionalism and are trustworthy, a rarity in today's business world.

The inspection was performed by Jon Gordon, the VP of the company. He arrived on time and was incredibly nice about what was a very stressful situation for me. He gave me good advice and answered all of my questions. He then followed up with written documentation and instructions for how to resolve the problem. While I hope to never need his services again, I highly recommend MoldGone to anyone who does have mold or mildew concerns.

I called on a Friday and Mike was out on Monday morning. He recommended remediation of the crawl space area under the house. He sent me a proposal very promptly, and we agreed on a start date. He got in touch with me two days later when he had a cancellation and was able to move up the job a week. The crew who did the remediation was courteous, professional, and did a great job. Mike even came out the next day to check that all the mold was indeed gone! Could not recommend more highly.

I called Joe Mulieri Friday; he came Saturday to assess the problem; his crew was there at 8:15am Monday (Labor Day!) to fix the problem - identified and fixed in 2 days. The crew laid down a drop cloth and taped doors in the hallway below the pulldown stairs to the attic. Did a great job cleaning up the area on the attic front wall and ceiling. They installed a new fan with both a temperature detector and a humidity detector to go on automatically so that humidity would not build up again in the attic. Joe and his crew were terrific and very patient in answering my questions

The appointment went very well. Joe's assessment was thorough and he took time to clearly explain the cause of our minor mold growth. He recommended remedies that we can perform ourselves and provided product names and locations for purchasing necessary supplies (instead of suggesting that we purchase through his company) . He followed up with written a report of his findings and recommendations. We got the sense that this is a well-run, honest, and professionally competent company. We would definitely recommend this company to others and would use them ourselves, if necessary.
