I contacted 8 roofing companies after my roof started leaking. Most were not available for 4 weeks for an estimate. Of the 3 roofers that gave an estimate, Louise August was the most thorough in evaluating problems and presenting a comprehensive approach to repair leaks and prevent future problems. We had our roof for our DC rowhouse replaced in 2013 by a different company, but within seven years a number of the shingles had fallen off and we had leaks near our skylight and water pouring down our front porch. I called the original roofer and they wanted to charge me $3600 for the repairs, which I felt that I shouldn't have had to pay given that the roof was seven years old. I then called August Roofing and they charged me $2500 to replace the missing shingles, seal and paint the vents, tighten the flashings, and clean and tighten the gutters. They came quickly and did the work fast and were responsive to my texts and questions. I waited to write this review to see if I had any issues in heavy rain, but now three months later, everything still looks great!

Jim and George responded to my request for a quote right away and started the project immediately. The workers were very nice and made sure to meet my requests for the project.

I had a leak in my flat roof after days of heavy rain. George came out the same day and found the source (after a couple others could not!) Louise August was able to quickly repair and then also seal the entire roof at a very very reasonable price. I was in a jam and we had several estimates and they were the best. Took their time to explain it all, sent me pictures of the damage and the fix. I would gladly call again. Thanks.
